So why did you click on this thread? Because you want to be a member of a group? Because you want free housing, storage, food, weapons, and armor in return for fighting the Undead and all enemies of Oren? Very good! You are in the right place!

Welcome to the

Guardians

So on this thread, we will go over everything that makes the Guardians who we are and how you can decide if you would like to be a member of our group.

We have currently 18 members

Who we are

So you have seen by reading this far is that we are the Guardians and that we stand against the Undead in every way and against those who threaten Oren. But we do more than just fight. We do espionage against the Undead and various other threats against Oren. We gather knowledge before fighting so we do not rush in like fools. We also offer defensive escorts for the various travelers, whether they are prisoners who need to be prevented from escaping, traders who carry valuable goods, information couriers, or high priority people. We are also of every race and of every weapon.

In short we are defenders.

We are NOT criminals, thieves, liars, or ex-criminals. We do not accept anyone who has committed a crime against a citizen of Aegis. We do accept those who have murdered or stolen from the Undead, that is slightly encouraged, as they are the major scourge of the world.

Our Requirements

To be a Guardian, we require several things.

1. You must not be a criminal.

2. You must have a valid reason for fighting for Aegis.

3. You must follow our rules.

4. You must follow the laws of Oren.

5. You are encouraged to assist in fights.

6. You must not steal from us or our members.

And the rules you must follow are these

1. You must NEVER steal from the living or dead. (Undead are neither.)

2. You must defend all members of Aegis if you see them being threatened.

3. You must obey those who are of higher rank.

4. Just be a generically helpful member of society.

5. Use good role playing.

Now, those may seem like a lot of requirements (not a ton of rules) but they are all essentially everything common sense for good people. We hope that, whether you are a Guardian or not, you follow these, since they will help to better the world around you.

Ranking System

To help us remain organized, we use twelve fighting ranks and four ranks in other areas of profession (blacksmiths, shamans and preachers.) These ranks are very important to us, since they help keep our members in line and generally helpful to the world.

All fighters start at the rank of Recruit, and advance to private in about two days. From there, you are ranked up based upon valor in battle. The other divisions of labor are organized by the heads of each section (Ser'tok (Macdady220) for shamans, Jordan (erland) for smiths, and Dimitris (begginfokillz) for preachers.)

We have a thirteenth rank of General, but that is filled by Adian ((tyking919)) and cannot have a second person of the rank.

What we provide to Members

For anyone who is under the flag of the Guardians, we will help you in battle, in the mistakes you have made, in the quests you undertake and in fulfilling your overall goal in this world. Whether we do these thinks personally, we can provide certain amenities.

In our fortress, we have three bunkhouses (two are currently filled, and the other is wide open) in which we provide a bed, private storage, and freedom to come and go as pleased. We also have a farm on our premises from which we can offer bread, mushroom stew, or books. We also have a nearby stand of trees which are occasionally harvested to provide wood for structures and tools for our members. We also provide weapons and armor for battle (we ask that armor be placed back in the smith's chest so it can be repaired.) We can also provide various other goods as may be needed.

(Due to a thief, we have lost many important items. We are still able to provide iron weapons, stone tools, and bows. The thief has been dealt with, so your items are safe.)

If you would rather contact us in game, we will be more than happy to interview you for joining. If you would rather join us via this post? That is fine, there is an application after this block of text. If you wish to join in game or on the forums, you will be able to message one of our members (message one of these: muchoman798, Macdady220, HappyJackington, KnightPuppy) to find our base from Kramoroe, but if you would rather find us yourselves, we are off of the King's road, and the easiest way to get there is to go down Kramoroe's main street heading eastward. This street will end, and there will be a bridge over a large body of water. Our fortress is at the end of this.

Why you want to join the Guardians:The undead burnt my village to ground,i wish to avenge my family as i had to witness them being burnt without mercy.I've wanted revenge ever since,however i need a place to start to get armed and become the great warrior i once was.

more over i believe joining this guild would make my stay on the server even more fun as it will supply me with more things to do.I'm willing to do general repairs on the base,keep the base in stock of food and do whatever i can to repay you for allowing me to avenge my family.

How did you hear of us: Two men walking down a path, I asked them where I could get a job as a fighter and the replied "you could apply to be a guardian..."
