Anderssn 1115 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Going to have to agree with that and what Pie has stated. However, I do believe that this is informational for those that don't quite know what armor they have, give them an idea of what to describe their armor as and possibly send them to do a bit more research. I did put some pictures? And most of us have seen Lord of the Rings, if not then all I can say is fail childhood ;)
thesmellypocket 1838 Author Share Posted November 7, 2014 I see your point, but as a history buff the easiest way to relate to the sort of armour used is through history for me. I try to have my armour based on historical examples, because 1.the historical skins usually look better and 2.the armour makes a lot more sense really. Also, for RP combat, I tend not to put armour on in two seconds, since no one would wear armour all the time around the home really, especially plate armour, so my guy usually used to wear a gambeson, which confers decent protection and is very comfy. oblivionsbane 714 Share Posted November 8, 2014 Since you wanted some nice looking armor, gothic stuff looks sweet.
