Epic, but can you explain how it would work with Conjuration?

The device basically concentrates the mana of the spell into a powerful beam, so in theory you could conjure a vine from the machine to the thing aimed at, however this would most likely break the machine. Conjuration with this device is not advised.

Anyways! Looking forward to running the test runs with this in RP. Even if the experiment is a huge failure and we blow up half the workshop. ;)

I wouldn't imagine it could work with necro and other dark arts. It could probably work with Blood Magic due to the nature of the magic being able to empower normal magic, but a spell like that would likely overload the device and wreck it so it probably wouldn't be viable even with blood magic. Its like a focused magical cannon of sorts I suppose. Though it cannot be deployed on mass and still has a fairly slow rate of fire, just has good power and accuracy with voidal spells.

Necromancy or anything derivative of life control, and most dark arts in general, do not depend on arcanic or otherworldly connections that this device would make use of in order to enhance, so it's very unlikely indeed that something like a superpowered lifedrain spell would be possible with this amplifier. The use of blood, however, as a makeshift replacement for ruibirum seems reasonable if fresh and applied similarly to the amplifier's primary means of spell enhancement. It would require a blood mage to make it work with blood though.

Note: If damaged in a warclaim, it cannot be repaired, it would be considered out of action. Note if destroyed in a warclaim it will produce an explosion that will injure or kill its crew putting them out of action in a warclaim.

Only those with accepted Magic Apps that would be applicable to use this device and are known to have been taught to satisfactory point can operate the device if they have been trained in RP. Any user of the device will be screened before a Warclaim to confirm this.

Also note should this device be accepted by the LT it will not just appear immediately, you will not be able just to build the design, it is a design that is being developed through RP, even once it has been developed through RP not any old engineer or mage can build this device its designs will be with engineer/mage that the device originates from in design and its first prototype.

This'll be accepted under the basis that it is to take a trial run throughout the next warclaim. Afterwards I, or another LM will converse with the specific leaders of the warclaim system.

This lore will also have to adhere to Cosmic's terms of implementation:

-5 uses per mage, then they're tired out
-Mages can't have anything in their inventory (aka no going to fight)
-15+ is hit with rolls scaling better than the average treb, but still you only get 5
-If it breaks it cannot be repaired
-Roll a 1 it explodes and kills all the mages using it

Until then, it will remain locked here.

[Edit] While the idea is accepted, the lore for it is not. The use of Ruibrium and Focus crystals does not fit the lore for those materials, which means it wouldn't work with those. We will talk to you in skype about the changes that can be done.

The trial period for this lore is over. It is officially accepted and implemented.
