Good evening Lord of The craft. This evening we will be opening up another PvP-Zone on the island of Avar. This is to further stake the current conflict between the Dreadlanders and Orenians as a more drawn out experience. The location will house one capture point which can be used to gain advantages for the coming siege. Discounts of equipment and possible ammo is what will be placed on the line for controlling the PvP-Zone the longest in active combat. Enjoy and please read over the rules and guidelines below before participating!

RULES AND GUIDELINES

1. Oren and her allies shall use status affectionate, the Dreadlanders and their allies shall use status fighting. Any soldiers with a differing status or no status will be punished accordingly. Capture points shall be held at two colors; orange for Dreadlanders and purple for Orenians.

2. You cannot be on the field without one of the aforementioned statuses. Walk around the PvP-Zone if you need to pass without fighting. Otherwise, the staff will assume you are breaching rule #4.

3. You may not No-RP kill a statused person outside of the PvP-Zone unless the combat began in the PvP-Zone. Doing so will result in regular punishment.

4. Any abuse of this concept whether it be for baiting or spying will go punished by the overseeing GM’s in the area.

5. You are allowed to use whatever means of fast travel you wish to arrive at the PvP-Zone. Using fast travel to go to the PvP-Zone and then raid is unacceptable and punishable. Go back home and walk to your destination.

6. You are allowed to return to battle whenever you wish; the 30 minute rule does not apply here.

7. Fights that start in the PvP-Zone should stay in the PvP-Zone. Purposefully baiting fights outside of it will be punishable.

8. Using LWC in the PvP-Zone is punishable; the warzone is meant to be dynamic, not marred with locks.

9. Anything borderline or close to breaking these rules will result in one verbal warning followed by a swift ban if the action continues. All appeals will be directed towards Fireheart.

10. Horses and pots are banned from the PvP-Zone. If you are caught with these listed items or entities you will be asked to leave. Repeating offenses will result in a ban.

Anything on the line of breaking these rules or in a grey line will be addressed by an overseeing GM. Trying to bend the rules or gain an unfair advantage will result in a warning and possible ban, be careful and use common sense.

Why are horses banned? There's actual counter measures one can make to knock a rider off these days, unlike potions.

Both party leaders agreed to a ban. As shown in past PvP-Zones, such as the Dwarven one, they end up being very annoying to some people. That is my assumption to the request that was made.

Oh, if it's a mutual agreement then fine - I thought it was some new stupid rule being enforced on Nexus gear.
