“The reason why the Dark Itharel plague our earth no more is because of an eternal sunlight. The phenomenon known as sunbreak tore open the heavens and cast a light upon the eldritch beasts, tearing their blighted physique asunder. They shed their taint akin to a snake shedding its skin and therefore reborn with tender flesh and silken hair; vanquished from their illegitimate immortality back to their pulchritude mortality.”

The clouds tore asunder at the behest of Xan who cast a light as bright as the sun’s smile, glaring down upon the lands below renowned as the phenomenon, sunbreak. This event transpired as nought but normality for mortal man upon the earth albeit upon the heavens war waged fierce but brief. As the Itharel versed in their abyssal blight brought down a Vindicator on mortal land-- to Xan’s dismay he lifted, and he stood upon the marble layering the grand realm. The sapphire burst of energy constantly flowing from the nexus behind the throne rippled violently, beckoning the Lady of Chaos to war-- he clutched his lance of starlight taut, hoisting the weapon high. Sheer wanton desire for war and bloodshed.

They beckoned war and so it came in a frenzy of hellfire and starlight. But only one could emerge victorious; the Aengul of Order, without Aerial, Tahariae, or his brethren sought death upon the damned Lady. The Gates of the Equilibrium tore open and both their armies found themselves with blade in one and shield in the other, and above the ferocious entities the duo fought against one another with violent force-- attracting the attention of many, including the likes of Iblees, Apohet, and Aerial. Their battleground was a barren wasteland forged on by the Primordials; an abandoned creation of theirs taken by the Aenguldaemons as they fought their pitiful wars or either avoided it entirely. The plane had a history of violence, bloodshed, and death. The vindictive Lord of Sunlight and his bountiful army upon one side with a mighty vanguard mounted upon steeds of starlight whereas Asura’s brood, forged on by hellfire, hatred, and chaos clutched their twisted metals taut.

A sun stood tall amidst the golden warriors whereas an ebon sun sat upon the mountains-- bursts of energy rippling forth to collide against one another, shattering the winds and forging violent storms. Then, as the third wave collides, the two counteracting armies marched onward with a steady pace that soon grew to a steady jog-- the platemail each side adorned, one forged from pits of Asura’s realm and the other Xan’s clanked with sword slamming against shield and each voiced their own unique warcry.

Soon they fought with sword versus blade; light versus dark.

The warriors of sunlight emerged victorious and the golden orb of Xan evolved into a mass of blazing energy, rippling with raw power which soon fired onward akin to a cannon as it collided against the ebon mass, tearing it asunder-- this then caused a volatile explosion across the plane, and in Asura’s fright she panicked-- death was steadily advancing and the Lord of Sunlight was far stronger than what she could fathom nor manipulate to her advantage; to kill a snake, you must cut off its head.

This volatile explosion shattered Asura’s bond with the Dark Itharel, causing the eldritch cave she once owned to crumble and fall. The gateway from Asura’s realm to the mortal realm was broken. At this stage Xan had won the battle, but to the vindictive Aengul the war was far from over. So he took his warriors and marched upon Asura’s lands to siege her realm.

The war went on for roughly two days until the barrier shattered at the behest of Xan whom stood upon the blighted soil which reverted back to grassland with each, and every step he took through her damned plane. The warriors marched with him, and before Asura’s eyes she watched in absolute trepidation as the physical representation of chaos was ripped from her lands-- her realm now distorted, warped from her perfect image. She came face-to-face with the Aengul of Order.

The duo conversed, raising arms against one another to engage in a disastrous battle which soon resulted in the lance, spurned from starlight, impaled straight through the torso of Asura, leaving the Lady of Chaos a crippled mess. This came as a shock to the Gods of yonder as a death of their kin had not happened since the rise of Man. Though, with action, comes consequence; no one Man, Daemon, or Aengul may create action without consequence.

To quell the fires that ignited the nexus of Asura’s realm he had to absorb the chaotic fury raging fierce, and that he did. Dipping the palm of his hand into the molten liquid to the core of her plane he clasped it taut between his calloused digits as the ebon fire mounted his bare palm of pure starlight-- his figure unable to be comprehended by reality as per the norm for each of the Gods.

The chaotic realm was gone with a golden sun floating upon the grasslands that now layer the realm-- by extension it belonged to Xan. Asura was then captured and imprisoned beneath the ivory throne to be locked away until time existed no more, and space was collapsing in upon itself. She existed between the veil of life and death at the behest of Xan.

Though, Xan’s action did indeed come with consequence.

To quell her fires he had to absorb her flame.

Thus sowing the seeds of discord into the Aengul of Order.

Unbeknownst to the Lords and Ladies of the Seven Skies she was still alive, unable to be freed nor called, let alone heard. Her pleas for aid went unanswered. For she were bound to the veil between life and death.

After a lengthy discussion with Delmodan - back when she was on the team - she and I came to a conclusion that this was a viable means to an end for Asura.
