The Battle of 'aelaa Alththuluj

Recommended Posts

On 14th of Amber Cold, 1563, an uprising had begun within the Vassal-Nation of Vandoria. Led by the Sultan of Sharaf, Ashruf Kaneen, who holds the lands of previous Al-Wakhrah has had seen enough tyranny and snakery. The Sultan decided to summon the lords of Vandoria, offering them a way out of the oppressive grasp of John Leopold and the Orenian Empire.

Together, they all spoke on what they should do, and decided that the best course of action was to push Ashruf’s claim to the Throne of Vandoria, so that they may expel the pretender John Leopold from the lands that he so call claims as his own. As the north finds itself within a war against the world, Vandoria will now find itself in a war against itself.

Now was the time to strike. The Sultan Ashruf Kaneen has the backing of all lords in Vandoria, including the Lord Paramount. The soldiers of the united Intifada forces have begun rallying all their bannermen, and have begun the march to take Ard Ghorrock back for themselves since there is essentially no one blocking their way.

The Intifada has begun.

During the end of the Vanderguan war, it was stated by staff that two warclaims on the same day would be allowed. Originally, it was gonna be an ard ghorrock warclaim and a dwarven warclaim on the same day, but that never happened. I don't think the idea of two warclaims in one day has been placed on some sort of lockdown, otherwise if it was the date can be changed.

Two warclaims at the same time is perfectly fine! Both leaders please PM me on Skype. If you don't have me added it is fireheart519. Talk to you soon, cheers! ALSO thank you so much for actually being the first person to post simple rules. They always get edited out in the end and it just makes everything so much more simple!

Considering you're basically on the same team as the coalition against Oren you should fight on sunday or something. Fighting on the same day of a siege warclaim is pretty stupid and you know you only did this so we would have less people and that alone. Why not move it forward a few hours on the same day as this one?

Not to mention it will be EXTREMELY laggy during 2 warclaims. 1 warclaim is laggy as it is but 2 would make it unplayable.

The Intifada Uprisers are a separate nation that are allied with the other coalition states. What is wrong with two warclaims at once from different factions? Surely it makes sense that Oren's army cannot be in two places at once?

I think it's perfectly reasonable to have multiple coalition warclaims against Oren at the same time. Since the whole point of the coalition and rebellion is to divide Oren forces and surround the Empire. It'd be unfair to have Oren forces fight Vandoria with full force one day, and then Courland the other day. In character, I think it'd be more than logical to direct two attacks at once. Or more, even.

Consideirng you are an allied coalition, I thought one side (your side being the coalition) cannot have 2 warclaims at ones. Considering you art part of the courland coalition like you said.

One skirmish warclaim with less people lagged like ****, two warclaims at the same time with way over 100 people will likely crash the server.

Makes sense in RP as it would in real life. The proper RP has taken place so there should be no reason for an OOC restriction in this case. An example would be if three countries were at war. Country one wouldn't wait for country two to attack country three. They would both attack at the same time for the best result.

In regards to two warclaims causing more lag, you are absolutely incorrect. Infact, two warclaims at the same time will make things run more smoothly. This is due to the way Minecraft is coded, with less players in one specific area or in view distance of one another less packets will be sent and therefore the network won't be as bogged down.

I would like to remind everyone involved that during the Duke's war, an option was presented to have two simultaneous warclaims, one on the eastern and one on the northern front. This is a similar situation; a coalition of forces fighting Oren from different sides, and I see no reason why it shouldn't be possible to do two warclaims at once. Oren's forces will be divided, yes, but so will the coalition's. There isn't really any advantage given to one side here and having the extra front adds a dynamic of force allocation. Can't hurt to try a two front warclaim this one time at the very least. If we were to do two different warclaims we'd have the entire forces of both sides at each warclaim which is silly.
