Gang Gang

- History and Founding -

 

With war ravaging the isle of Tahn, men from all over the realm began to band together. Two young, former conscripts of the Imperial Army, known only by their forenames ‘Wymond’ and ‘Xavier’ began to gather a small following of these men under their grasp. Seeing this small following develop, the brothers decided it would be a good idea to formalize the group- and thus GANG GANG was born.

 

- Ranking Structure -

 

Captain

The Captain is the current leader and commander of the Warband. Much of his commanding has to do with his martial prowess, rather than just sheer size.

1st Lieutenant

 

The second in command of the Warband, the 1st Lieutenant is a trusted friend and ally of the Captain. Holding just as much weight as the Captain, the Lieutenant is known to deal out punishment and reprimand those who do not follow the Warband’s mission.

 

2nd Lieutenant

 

Second only to the Captain and Lieutenant, the 2nd Lieutenant has shown undying loyalty to the Warband. They pledge their strength, their will, and their life to the warband- unshaken and undeterred by the stench of death.

 

Ensign

 

Veterans of the Warband that survive their first tour of duty and show themselves as capable and well disciplined soldiers achieve the rank of Ensign. An Ensign is tasked with leading small bands, comprised of nine other men and himself. He acts as a role model to his fellow members. An Ensign may often be placed in command of the Conscripts, Pledges, and Bitchboy, ensuring they are properly trained.

 

Conscript

 

Regular yet equally fearsome members of the Warband, these men have been accepted and deemed worthy to carry out the cause. The actions of the Conscript reflect and show the intentions of the Warband. With ferocity and fervorous combat ability, they may easily join the ranks of Ensign

 

Pledge

 

The lowest legitimate rank of the Warband, these men have yet to make a name for themselves on the field, yet show the same unwavering drive as the senior members of the Warband. One may only move from Bitchboy to Pledge after taking an oath and surviving a battle on the front lines.

 

Bitchboy

 

Generally known as the recruit of the Warband, the rank of Bitchboy is reserved solely for one. This lowly soldier will be constantly hazed, void of pay, and looked down upon until they prove their worth to the warband

 

- Traditions of the Warband -

 

Being they do so much physical activity, the proper feast that takes place after a hard days work is referred to as the “Bulke” where the men turn ‘flesh into flesh’ by consuming copious amounts of meat.

 

However, the men also understand that when they eat too much- not much of the muscle will show. Each year there is a single period of Warband fast called the “Cutte”. During this time period the Warband is extremely on edge and willing to fight almost anything in their way.

 

Due to the lack of supplies and pent up energy of the Warband members regularly partake in long treks of the countryside, devastating the local flora and fauna. Foraging is also used to help organize the Warband and brings the men together.

 

As the Warband  is heavily based on physical stature, Gang Gang take their physical condition extremely seriously. Lifting fruit carts, large rocks, or anything they can really get their hands on, the men of the Warband wish to continue to grow in size.

 

Another, more sinister tradition of Gang Gang, is something referred to as the ‘War march’. Every week the Captain or Lieutenants must lead the Warband in some type of battle, leaving the men in a constant state of conflict. If the Captain or Lieutenant fails this duty, the warband has a right to attack any group or faction they see fit.

 

- Payment -

 

All soldiers (besides bitchboy) are afforded equal pay. Mina will be equally dispersed for every contract taken by the Warband. Outstanding service can also lead to bonuses.

 

- Relics -

 

Wymond’s Snaggle Tooth

 

A plague ridden, yet oddly sharp tooth fabled to have come out of the jaws of the Captain. Nobody knows if this legend is true, as Wymond seems to boast a full mouth of teeth. The tooth will not crack or chip and has even been used to open beer bottles.

 

The Pledge Paddle

 

A rough paddle used to beat pledges and the bitchboy back into place. Wielded by the First Lieutenant.

 

Lieutenant’s Pommel

 

A well crafted pommel wielded by the Second Lieutenant. Legend has it the Lieutenant used such weapon to kill his naggy first wife.

 

The ***** Cap

 

A dunce cap worn by the active Bitchboy. One may only remove said cap after proving himself to the Warband.

 

The Gang Rang

 

A masterfully crafted ring stuffed with diamond bezels, adorned by the Captain of Gang Gang
