Character Introduction {Ghai Jhork}

Character’s age: 21

 

Biography:

Mira Jhork gave birth to Ghai Jhork in 1602, under a bridge in the capital of Haense, (St. Karlsburg) during the war with Courland. 

She was forced to abandon her newborn son, since she didn't have enough resources to care for him.

Ghai was taken into a different family, 'the Galliots', and spent his first years living inside a small house in the kingdom of Haense.

Once he turned eighteen, his stepfather (Doren the Galliot) told him he had leave and fend for is own, as it would teach him the right ways life.

 

A few months after being sent away from his home, he stumbled on a small tavern.

With little to no money he went inside, hoping to persuade the tavern keeper to gain a warm meal.

The tavern keeper refused, but surprisingly, offered him a job instead. Ghai was supposed to work on a farm, and in 

return he would receive food and shelter.

 

On a cloudy day, the tavern and surrounding villages got attacked by a big group of mercenary's.

Nobody knew who they were, were they came from or why they did it. They took Ghai hostage once they 

were done raiding. He didn't know what they wanted from him, and got released after five weeks of being underfed.

 

At this point, without money or food, Ghai decided to travel to Veris hoping for a better life.

Guards asked why he came to Veris once he finally arrived. He told them why he came, and they let him pass.

Impressed by all buildings, people and trade going around, he walked into a tavern and got out a new job.

His tasks were to restock food, fetch wine and lure customers inside.

 

After a few months of hard work, he made enough money to travel back to his old family.

He told his boss that he had to take some time off, and got on his way. When he finally

got back to his old home, it seemed his stepfather had passed away and the whereabouts of his sons were unknown.

Ghai went to visit his grave and left some flowers. He had yet to realize, that he was heading for the biggest adventure of his life...
