Country/Tribe: First Bulgarian Empire

Leader: Tsar Samuil I

Population: 1.85 Million

History: Bulgaria as a sedentary state had been established in the 7th century, after centuries of Bulgar migration from Central Asia. In the 670s the Bulgars crossed into Byzantine territory and forced the Eastern Roman Emperor Constantine IV to acknowledge Bulgaria as an independent state, cede land, and pay an annual tribute in a humiliating peace treaty. Since then they have expanded considerably, taking yet more territory from the Eastern Romans and to their north-east. Now it is three years into the new reign of the new Tsar, Samuil I, who had already proven himself as commander of the Bulgarian army under the previous Tsar, Roman I, and is widely respected, even in Constantinople. However, that very city hosts an ambitious Emperor, one who will not make the Bulgarian Empire's existence a guaranteed thing.

Country/Tribe: Mbuthi Tribe (Bantu peoples)

Leader:  Munyao Ungo Bingo

Population: 4,300

History:  After the unfortunate death of Warlord Wud Ungo Bingo, where he was patrolling a large mountain of the Mbuthi, he slipped on a banana peel and tumbled to his death. Mourning was met with exotic clicking and hollering of the men. His son, Munyao Ungo, whom was named after the great Deity Mbuthi Munyao, rose to power in 999 AD.

Culture:

The Mbuthi are warlike, every man, child and woman are handed bows upon joining the tribe.

Iintaba ze-Mbuthi! Is their slogan, deriving from the ancient Clickerman language. It means: Mountains for the Mbuthi!. This is because the Mbuthi peoples believe the mountains are hardened pupu from their diety, Mbuthi Munyao, and therefore must be protected at all times.

Country/Tribe: Ummayad Caliphate

Leader: Hisham II

Population: 7 million, with the capital having 450k thus being the largest city in Europe

History: The Ummayad Caliphate was once one of the greatest empire to grace the north. They managed to spread the word of Allah through the middle east and North-Africa yet as all great empires do they decline. Now the once mighty Ummayad Caliphate is reduced to it's territories in Spain and some regions in Northern Africa. Furthermore even their last bastions are now being assaulted by the christian states. NO MORE !!! The Caliphate under Hisham II will consolidate it's internal affair, stop any internal threats from tearing the country appart like it did so many before in history and put an end to those foolish Christian conquistadors. It is time for the Ummayad Caliphate to take a stand against the rising power of christianity, drive out the christians and keep Spain in the name of Allah.

Country/Tribe: Fatimid Caliphate

Leader: Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah

By 1000, the Caliphate was at the peak of its strength, and has recently built the great city of Cario which has seen great growth since its construction. The Fatimid military is based largely on the Kutama Berber tribesmen brought along on the march to Egypt. After their successful establishment in Egypt, local Egyptian forces were also incorporated into the army, so the Fatimid Army were reinforced by North African soldiers from Algeria to Egypt in the Eastern North.
