(PLAYERS HAVE THE GRAY DOTS)

4E 382

Following the 2nd Great war between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire. Both Empires were severely weakened and after decades of war, were not prepared for the great Knahaten Flu. The year was 4E 308 the Knahaten Flu resurfaced once again. It all started in the city of Helstrom in Blackmarsh, most say it was the work of the Argonians, but some think that all the war and death caused it.

No matter the reason it quickly spread once again throughout Tamriel killing millions in its wake. The Empire and Aldmeri dominion unable to cope with its destruction, they collapsed quickly due to death and civil wars of succession. A similar situation happened in Skyrim. The end of the Stormcloak dynasty spelled disaster for all the Jarls, who now fought over the crown. Fracturing Skyrim. It is now 4E 382. Tamriel is recovering, the Dark Elves reorganizing into a proper nation and the High Elves follow soon after. But most of Tamriel is still in ruins. The Empire and Dominion are a memory of the past.

“Death before dishonor.” -Marcus Marius Orientius

Marcus Aurelius Orientius’s inauguration was held, and he was put into office later that day. His first order of business was be married. His brothers and sisters were all married, but if he were to rule he needed a bloodline of his own. The next step was to send trade deals to some of the other remaining cities/nations of Tamriel. After sending trade deals, soldiers were to be recruited and trained, 1000 would be sufficient enough to defend the city and the land for now. 500 of those 1000 are to go and scout out the two provinces next to our city for possible expansion.  Imperial peoples by far out bred most other peoples but the growth would be stagnant if we did not intervene. The last thing attended to by Marcus was the construction of new farms  to improve our populaces situations.

Hissing whispers, Jel spoken, disturbed by the noise of dripping water and the silent splashing of the leader's head. After hours of deliberation he rises to speak aloud, making a decision.

"Why does Swamp-in-Head make splashy noises with head? Let Argonian make friends, and grow strong for farms. Saltrice and Kwama." spoke Swamp-in-Head as he shook his head making weird and morbidly disgusting splashing noises. It was essential that the people were fed and population would grow readily after years of decline.

Kraviran Tribes

the_elder_scrolls__flag_of_elsweyr_by_okiir-d6gbf5g.png

"This one has all that you require and more." - Ra'Kazajir Vaskir

The meeting was held, with the bloody war behind them the newly anointed leader of Kraviran Tribes Ra'Kazajir comes out from his tent to face his newly captured city and the population of loyal Khajiits, his anointed was brief and traditional as he now addressed them.

"Welcome my brothers and sisters, we have successfully retaken our lands and now begins an era of peace and prosperity! our first goal is to feed you all and return to what we are best known for! our vast and rich caravans; under this one's rule, we shall prosper, as we speak, we begin reconstruction of the farms as well as the restart of our prosperity in trade. This one has found many willing trade partners and has already found one who wants to trade, this will bring us strength and security. Furthermore, we shall rebuild our depleted military with fresh and new forces, this one promises and will keep them."

Ra'Kazajir now walks back into his tent, the cheers of his people heard across the land as he sits down on his floor mat, looking around, taking in the surroundings, seeing his new banner with the half-crescent moon, gazing to his right to see a shrine to the pantheon of the gods, looking up to see a model of the two moons in all their beauty.

His Advisor enters now, bowing before him before offering him the paper sent by The Colovian Highlands, offering a bow of his head in thanks he takes this paper, his servants bringing a table, pen, and ink in front of him as well as his seal. He once more gave thanks to them before unrolling the paper, reading it over, a small smile forming on the Khajiit's face as he takes the pen and dips it within the ink, forming his signature, moving his hand back; The Servant would now take a small pot of turquoise wax, pouring the hot and thick liquid onto the paper before Ra'Kazajir grabs his seal planting it firmly onto the wax to form the seal, similar to his banner, a crescent moon with a diamond inside as well as olive branches and a small dune like symbol above, singifying the desert.

This continued for a small while as he repeated this with more trade scrolls, sending out mutual trade offers to the remnants of The Dune, The Peliates, as well as one to the city-states of Bruma, Chorrol and Anvil respectively, once he finished with the trade deals Ra'Kazajir began work on the rebuilding of his lands.

He takes a moment to stand up and pace around his tent, taking into account his population and the number of men he can rise into an army, deciding to raise units of light infantry and light cavalry respectively, one of each. Once he finished his retrospection he sits back down, starting to form the training demand from the Capital, signing and sealing the forms and sending them off to his advisors and servants, exhaling for a moment before starting another form to build three farms, two for food and one for the valuable mineral for the Khajiits and others, the moon sugar cane. Once these scrolls and forms are signed and sealed he offers them back to his advisors and servants; done for the day he stands and moves slowly outside of his tent, gazing around his new city, this can be the start of a great civilization.

Imperial Remnant

Remnant Commander of the Imperial Legion Marius Decius Arteius

Iron boots echoed through the halls of Cheydinhal Castle as Marius walked out of the main entrance into town, two of his men flanked his sides as the town went on it’s business.

“It’s been a rough few years men, but this is where the Empire and the Legion will rebuild itself.” he said as they left just outside the town to a large encampment. Legionnaires marched in formation and patrolled the town vigilantly. A thousand proud and hardy souls ready to fight for the Empire.

A young soldier approached Marius, winded he maintained his composure offering a quick solute “Commander, the reports you requested.” Marius extended his hand pulling out the scroll and reading it carefully “Hmm, as was to be expected. I want you to tell Salvir to reach out to who he can, we need to try and secure as much outside trade as we can handle if we’re to fund ourselves.”

The young man once again saluted and bowed his head “I won’t fail you father.” Marius nodded “I want you to escort him Corporal. Stay safe.”

The Brotherhood of the Sword

Following the rising of the Brotherhood flag over Taneth, the people celebrated with a speech from the Grand Master Christophe: "We are the people of Hammerfell, over centuries many people have come to claim our lands of Alik'r and all of our holdings. And time and time again we come back stronger than ever! We have fought blood and teeth to survive the Flu and keep our town together. but now that time of fear and pain is over. We must now rise like a beast of the sand, and strike down our foes and bring the true Hammerfell back into order. We are the Brotherhood, live and die by the sword, live and breathe by the sword, live and kill by the sword! The only thing we had to use to survive is our brotherhood and our (Curved)swords which have carried us far and wide to properity. Now let these swords bring us into a new era of strength and honor, for the Kingdom, for the Brotherhood, and for the Sword!"

The Grand Master Christophe begins organizing his people and giving them discipline on the terms of the Brotherhood, he went on to train 1,000 troops with 500 being sent to guard trade with a new friend. Following this Christophe began searching for a willing and devoted recruit to eventually take his mantle after his passing, with Christophe searching through his most devoted and capable soldiers. His next action would be to send out trade offers to the nearby cities and towns outside of Hammerfell and sending an offer to Riften. Lastly, the construction of a single caravel as a start of a new navy, signaling the beginning of Taneth's strength.

Realm of Nifelheim

"Adjudication by Immolation."

The icy winds blow against the hard rock of the peak upon which Calastar dwells. The inhabitants sport fur coats and take shelter which each coming breeze. The wharfs boast might fishing vessels which withstand the chaotic tides which crash upon the rocky shores. The central tower overlooks the growing town, with observant eyes. These eyes belonged to Lopt, of the house of Merovingian, the newly crowned count of this seaside realm. He looked onward with yellow eyes, his face glistening in the silver light which shone through the stained glass. The sigil of the magic eye would cast its shadow upon the humble chamber, lined with books of every discipline. His desk was cluttered with several scrolls that had yet to be complete and signed. He sighed and rose, he paced upon the stone floor. His visage was peculiar in the land of the Bretons. His face sharp, even for a Breton, and his ears pointed like knives. He rubbed his hairless chin and occasionally ran his hand through his long, auburn hair. "Gromindal!" He called out, but he feared the hollow halls would not carry his voice. His fear was subdued as the venerated man appeared in the doorway. 'Yes, maester?" Lopt pondered for a moment, in thought, "I believe it prudent to send scouts to the nearby regions, we have grown far too secluded on this rock. Additionally, I wish for you to send envoys to the nearby realms, in hopes of achieving some commercial agreement and possibly treaties." "Anything else, my lord?" the elderly man would ask. "Ah yes, and do begin construction on the college I promised my tutors, we shall make Calastar an intellectual capital in High Rock. Perhaps even the Elves will come to learn," he would finish with a short laugh, abruptly cut by the awkward steward's grin. "Very well, my lord, I will see to it." The lord of Calastar would return to the book ajar on his desk, reading of High Rock's histories while he peered over arcane studies.

Activity:

Jarl Oskar had only recently taken the throne of Windhelm though he had yet to take a seat in it since his ascension. It was, at last, the day into the early winter seasons that Oskar had called for a court with the people of his city. Many requests were simple, such as the dealings with thieves and bandits due to the harsh winter bearing down on them, though some were considerable like the impending shortage of food due to lack of trade into the city.

The Jarl took into account each of these issues, before dismissing his subjects to their daily tasks once more. He had called several members of his newly appointed council and assigned their duties. The Marshall, Olaf Thvarjsson, had been tasked with assigning patrols throughout the city to keep the criminals at bay, as well as designate new leaders for both the infantry and archers. His final order was to, by the end of the year, find a suitable class of soldiers that would be candidates to become Housecarls to the Jarl.

The master of coin was to send each surrounding nation a request of trade, as well as deal with all foreign affairs relating to the intake and sending of goods and resources. He had made a point of the roads being stable, though the docks had been dwarfed in size since the war had closed. It would be dealt with.

The master of speech had dispatched several elders south, to the Rift, in order to better relations with the bountiful and lush holding.

City State of Bruma

The time of rebuilding had long past, and now it was time for Bruma to rekindle relationships with the outside world. Before Lycinia could even take a seat in her office, her page ran in, carrying three letters. One from the Colovians of Kvatch, another from the remnants of the old Empire in Cheydinhal, and the last from Elyswhyr, from the Khajiit Kraviran tribes. All three requested mutual trade. After writing letters of acceptance and thanks, Lycinia tells the page to give them back to the messengers who brought them - along with gifts of trinkets and carvings. Without even having to do anything, Bruma found itself in a trade network.

Fertile lands lay south, in the Heartlands Basin, but for now, the city doesn't have the means to expand. So, they'll have to make do with what they've got. A hunting guild is set up (-2 AP) in order to control and distribute game fairly throughout legal means, and to combat poaching. Any citizen with a bow or spears that lives within the city's territory is allowed to sign up, in an effort to spread the skill among the populace. The targeted game changes each season to allow for re-population and to avoid starving the surrounding forests of game.

Meanwhile, in the more temperate valley between Applewatch and the city itself, hardworking families are awarded plots of land to farm in, or build orchards. (-2 AP)

Finally, 500 light cavalrymen are to be recruited and trained as the first Mounted Auxilia of Bruma. (-2AP)

A cohort of light infantry men are sent north to the Pale Pass, to look for potential settlement areas near it, and to clear out any bandits or brigands trying to attack travelers passing between Skyrim and Cyrodiil. (0AP)

The Rift

During Carsten's first year on the throne, his first order of business was to increase Riften's population. To do this they would need food, so the farmers were paid to begin expanding their fields. As Riften grows it will need soldiers to protect it, so 1000 men are to be trained, 250 will head north to scout the area for suitable land for a village to be built. Another 100 will be sent to patrol the farms. All remaining soldiers will take shifts guarding Riften and patrolling outside the city.

                      The county of Falinesti

                              the_elder_scrolls__flag_of_valenwood_by_

Ulwnis looked down at the city of Falinesti from his elevated position on the balcony of the small keep that was put on the highest point in the city. Below him he could see sprawled before him the meager borders of the city. Ulwnis scowled at the sight. Most of the buildings were only about one story high and much of what remained were buildings either renovated after the great collapse or built anew of destroyed and empty buildings. All in all it was a disorganized mess and Ulwnis intended to change that. He would make sure that such a pathetic city would not be the capital of the greatness he would create. As such at some point he would need to rebuild it entirely. Make it organized, structured and defensible. He already had dozens of ideas in mind how to best achieve his goals but he knew that most of them required a lot of materials and manpower. Manpower and materials he could use for something far more effective, farming.

Farming was the lifeblood of any people, nation or tribe. It provided a safe and stable way of providing food for any gathering of men and women. He knew that many others if they were in his position would simply build more farms. But Ulwnis found this approach less efficient than he would like. What use is it giving someone land if they can not do it efficiently. Efficiency was the core principle philosophy in Ulwnis's philosophy and he could not mentally or emotionally allow himself to have some inefficient farm waste the space which would be given to the farmers. Furthermore getting better tools would allow larger farms which could be run more efficiently.

'Yes' Ulwnis though to himself 'better farming equipment and methods would indeed prove quite efficient in the future. Quite a bit more effective than restructuring and building the city at this point in time' with these new thoughts in his minds Ulwnis would make his way towards his personal chambers. Here he would plan and document his plans for the agricultural improvement with orders which were so simple that most of his dunderhead inferiors and minions could understand what he wanted them to do. Still he would need to leave as few possible options to sentient error as possible. Thus he worked into the night with a small candlelight lighting his rooms as he dreamt of the distant future and the future that was closer by.

Actions

6 ap is spent making sure the craftsmen, inventors and farmers of Falinesti put their money where their mouth is. (a.k.a. make them busy) they are given the task to create better tools for farming and create better methods. The hope is that with this farming can become more efficient per square mile so eventually Falinesti will use it's fertile land as good as possible. These hoped for improvements of already existing tools or new invention are hoped to make both crop farming more effective and to learn how to use the crap of livestock as a better way to grow plants.

0 ap is spent sending diplomats to all remaining nations in Valenwood to come to terms about a trade agreement. In this order: Arenthia, Ilvenar, Woodheart, greenheart, south point, Haven, Elden root. These diplomats would continue on until at least three of these states accepted a trade agreement and would then continue on to get a good impression of the rulers of the other nations and their attitudes. The Colovian Highlands:

With the new lord inaugurated early this year the talks of an heir to the realm were brought up, the Lord sent out envoys and emissaries out to find a suitable consort for his Excellency. Three young, beautiful women were brought to his lordship. In the end, he selected Cerana Vitiian, the daughter of an extremely wealthy merchant. Who is happy to pay for the entire wedding. (+3 AP)

All the envoys sent out to secure trade deals return with good news, all offers have been accepted by their lords. Not soon after, caravans depart The Colovian Highlands towards their new trade partners.

Later during the season, 1000 more able bodies men join the ranks of the Colovian Military. Archers and Men at Arms alike swear allegiance to Lord Marcus Marius Orientius. With his military expanded, a detachment of 500 men is sent off to unclaimed provinces. Weeks pass by as no reports come in. A month passes by until there is a knock at the gate, it seems the contingent is back. But only 442 of them. The detachment report that Ayleid ruins spread across the lands used to shelter refugees during the flu. How every they’ve been overrun with bandits, marauders, and goblins. 58 of them perished when they were ambushed by a goblin army numbering in the thousands. They mark suitable locations for future settlement.

Meanwhile, Lord Marcus orders the construction of new farms and farmhouses outside the city walls. The farmable lands plus the proximity to the city make these farms profitable. Significantly increasing population growth. (+800 Pop for 3 turns)

The tribe of the Sarpa:

The City of Helstrom, the source of the Knahaten flu is seen as an unholy place. The source of all evil, however, the Argonians don’t care. Swamp-in-Head’s investments into the current economic situation of Helstrom prove profitable. The city expands, accommodating more merchants. Though no foreign merchants dare to come. With this investment, the city is sure to prosper, but it still needs a little more encouragement. (+1000 Population for 1 turn)

500 more Argonian warriors join the ranks of the Sarpa Tribe, filling the roles of archers and bruisers.

Talks with the tribes begin, the Tribe of Markmount and Stormhold welcome the Sarpa with open arms, accepting a mutual trade deal. The Tribe of Gideon straight out rejects the Sarpa. The tribe of Archon, though hesitant at first agree to a trade deal. Though soon a power struggle in the tribe forces them to cut trade with the Sarpa. Stonefalls, making sure they haven’t been singled out send an envoy to the Sarpa offering trade and a mutual defensive alliance against Gideon.

Kraviran Tribes:

Ra'Kazajir’s rousing speech is met with roaring applause and clapping. But now he gets down to business. The Colovians, The Peliates, The City State of Anvil and The City State of Bruma accept their trade deals, however. The Dune rejects the trade deal, declaring the Kraviran are nothing but bloodthirsty savages. Soon Khajiit caravans depart the city, heading to their destinations

The Army is not neglected either, as an expansion is ordered. 1000 men answer the call as half of them are trained into light infantry, while the other half are trained as light horsemen. By the end of the season, the troops are fully trained and equipped.

The last orders are carried out, a basic farm is constructed. Though its yield is not much it does provide a stable food source for the growing population (+500 population for 3 turns)

The Moonsugar farm on the other hands is much more profitable since many moonsugar farmers were killed by the flu. The sugar is a rare commodity, making it quite expensive to purchase. (+1 AP for 2 turns)

The Imperial Remnant:

With the rise of a new faction in Cyrodiil, The Imperial Remnant. A lot of red flags were thrown around. Even though of this suspicion The Lord of Chim accepts the Imperial Remnants trade deal. Soon after, caravans begin arriving at Cheydinhal. Bruma accepts as well, though the Rift politely refuses.

The city of Cheydinhal experiences a massive growth. With trade flowing in and the population growing, the city begins to expand. New buildings and farms are built, further increasing the growth of the city. (+1200 Pop for 1 turn)

The Brotherhood of the Sword:

Not long after Christophe took power the search for a potential protege ends with the selection of Gogaas Coarman, a profitable merchant. This is a wise choice and the council accepts it. However, the other choice Baurean Tlorkum feels that this choice isn’t wise. That HE should be the rightful heir.

The Lords of Rihad and Gilane accept the Grandmasters trade deal, not soon after caravans filled with goods flow into Kvatch. However, the trade routes with Rihad and Gilane are being raided by an unknown faction. The 500 troops that are sent to protect the Riften trade route, however, have a better time repelling the raiders. Though they fail to capture any of the raiders.

Using wood imported from Riften, The Brotherhood of the Sword build their first naval vessel. A new Caravel is constructed.

Realm of Nifelheim:

Lord Lopt begins his reign by ordering the recruitment of 500 light infantry. By mid-year, the troops are equipped and ready for combat. They are sent out to survey. Months pass before the infantry returned. Though many of them are bloodied and bruised they survived. The report indicates that most of the lands outside the city are uninhabited, ghost towns dotting the landscape. However, one of the field commanders reports that the orcs of Orsimer were massing a large number of troops from a Grand Campaign. Though these reports are dubious at best, primarily because the Commander was known for being mad.

New farms are constructed, although small in nature. They are adequate for the current population and will be able to sustain them for a few more winters. (+500 Pop for 3 turns)

The training of marine infantry is a foreign and unknown concept to make of the officers in charge, though they do make some strides. Some of the troops slowly and surely begin to grasp the concept of marine warfare. It is a long road until they have perfected it

The Lords of Wayrest and Camlorn accept Lopt’s trade agreements, though many others simply dismiss the young ruler.

Later during the season, construction begins on a massive new project. Though the funding they receive is minimal, great strides are made. Massive amounts of stone and timber are harvested for this project. By the end of the year, the foundations of the college are completed.

Jarldom of Windhelm:

With the rise of Jarl Oskar Alfriksson-Stormcloak, there was bound to be trouble. A rival claimant to the Jarldom of Windhelm storms into the hall. Claiming Bjorm Jorgisorsson-Stormcloak are the rightful heir to the throne. He was shortly escorted out of the hall, locked up for the night. This may spell troubles in the future but for now, great strides are made.

During the Flu, the docks of Windhelm were closed for fear of spreading the flu even faster. It’s been years and they have been truly neglected. With funding from the royal treasury, the docks are reopened and expanded. Increasing the economic output of Windhelm. However, this does have the adverse effect of allowing hundreds of Dunmer refugees to flow once again into Windhelm. (+675 Pop for 5 turns)

With the sudden influx of Dunmer refugees crime naturally rose, but Jarl Oskar wisely assigned his light infantry to patrol and keep the peace in Windhelm, though there are rumors that the crime in Windhelm is slowly getting organized.

With trade routes now open with Riften and Winterhold, many Dunmer decide to migrate to the two holds, dispersing the insane amount of refugees coming in.

With all this going on, the Jarl begins searching for a Housecarl, though many soldiers are considered. Two truly stand out, first is a female, Katrsi Windcaller. She is skilled in two-handed combat. The next one is Vigsgar Alfriksson-Stormcloak, a distant cousin of the Jarl. He is an absolute loyalist and is skilled with one hand and a shield.

City State of Bruma:

The Hunting guild proves successful, as every season each hunter brings in a respectable amount of meat. Able to sustain their families, though poaching still remains, it has been made into a very minor issue. As barely any of the population dare to poach. Though the hunting also has an economic bonus. Furs make an excellent resource to sell (+1 AP for 2 turns)

With the construction of farms in fertile lands. It seems the City State of Bruma is bursting at the seams with food. Thus making the population boom. (+850 Pop for 3 turns)

500 Riders are recruited, trained in the ways of the horse. Finally, a cohort is sent through the Pale Pass. Making notes of any bandit encampments, then easily clearing them out. In their notes, the mark a hilled are overlooking large plain. A possible location for either a fortress or future city. Though the journey back is without danger, they are ambushed by a Forsworn raiding party. Though they lose 50 men. The Cohort manage to beat the Forsworn back.

Jarldom of the Rift:

Not much happens in the Rift, other than the sudden influx of Dunmer Refugees. Though it’s not as bad as Windhelm or Winterhold. (+350 Pop for 5 turns)

The troops sent out to protect the trade routes are effective at dealing with Bandits and Brigands. 1000 more troops join the ranks of the Rift, bolstering their army.

With investment from the Crown, the farmlands outside Riften walls begin to prosper. Producing food for the populace. (+500 Pop for 3 turns)

County of Falinesti:

The task of improving the farming of Falinesti is difficult, but not impossible. Within the year, great strides have been made in crop growing. With the funds of the crown, farmers have developed a method to double their crop yield using the current space they have. Truly an impressive feat, and their neighbors catch on. (+1200 Pop for 3 turns)

All of the Wood Elf counties are friendly towards each other, though only three of them accept trade deals. They are Arenthia, Greenheart and Elden Root. All of the wood elf states are impressed with Falinesti’s innovations and seem to approve. They all seem to currently be peaceful, though one namely Southpoint seems they want to negotiate an alliance with Falinesti.

World Events

Rumors spread quickly, but it seems the Kingdom of Auridon has plunged into a civil war after a failed Thalmor coup. With the entire nation at war, hundreds of Altmer refugees begin fleeing Auridon, a majority of them either settling in Valenwood or Hammerfell. This may spell problems for the rulers there. An event that must be closely monitored.

The Kingdom of Morrowind suffers a terrible famine, causing thousands of refugees to flee into Skyrim.

Listen up Men!

Marius looked over the 500 Men and Women of his Legion that had gathered, 250 Heavy Soldiers and 250 Light Infantry had been called upon for a mission.

You are the best the Legion has to offer, the true Son’s and Daughter’s of the Empire. So I call upon you now to aid our fledgling emergence, to ensure it grows and expands in safety. The world has gone to hell and it isn’t going to get any better until we and others who fight for law and order arise to challenge the chaos.

So you all will form into smaller patrols and will work together to ensure the roads are safe and keep any vagabonds at bay. You’ll be put to the test, your training, your commitment, and your loyalty and your courage. You’ll need all of it to prevail out there, but most importantly you’ll look to each other, your leaders and your cohorts. So take heart! Know that the Divine’s watch over you!

At that the Centurions call out to their groups and the Infantry all rally into smaller patrols, a mix of Heavy Soldiers, Auxiliaries, and Archers deploy out of Cheydinhal to protect the roads and the Province itself.

“Death before dishonor” -Marcus Marius Orientius

Marcus received reports from the two provinces scouted by the contingent of men. He was not happy whatsoever at the loss of 42 men and the news of goblins being in the area especially since they are in the thousands. “Half of a century gone. And nothing I could do about it.” Marcus said in a rough voice to his wife Cerana as she rubbed his back. “I’ll drive that scum far from here. They’ll not touch a hair on the head of any man, woman or child as long as I draw breath..” Marcus reached for ink and parchment and wrote a recruitment order, enough men to form a legion. His wife looked at the parchment with widened eyes. Before she could say anything Marcus stood up and began getting dressed in his armor, after finishing getting dressed he walked out of the room and started shouting orders to the men standing guard. Marcus paid no attention to the economy of Kvatch knowing the city would be alright if he turned his attention elsewhere. The Goblin army has to be stopped before they could grow their numbers.

The Brotherhood of the Sword

The Grand Master Christophe, receiving reports of the raids on trade with Rihad and Gilane, calls for the recruitment of 1,000 infantry to guard these two routes evenly and to find the source of these perpetrators. Wanting to put Gogaas Coarman to work in the Brotherhood, he places him as head of trade for the town and training him on the art of war during his studies. Looking to expand the Brotherhood’s control Christophe sends another trained 1,000 troops to scout the nearby lands to find expansion possibilities. Seeing how well the plains are doing along the southern lands, Christophe invest in a small farm to increase his people’s welfare(Speaking the quote “A hungry brother, fights not for the sword, but for the stomach”). Realizing the troops will be fighting in all sorts of environments, Christophe begins to instruct his troops on the variances of terrain and how to combat forces in it. Lastly, in a means to ensure economic prosperity Christophe spends to invest in the economy of Taneth and the Brotherhood.
