All is quiet on the surface of Edichi. It has been less than a year since the ‘Pulse’ blew through the system, rendering all inside it isolated. The ensuing chaos fractured Imperial forces on the surface as regional commanders and leadership figures jockeyed for control over what remains of the Empire. Both free and occupied Edichi cities were not excluded from this power struggle. Attempts to reduce the scope of Imperial control were met with varying degrees of success, though no major cities were reclaimed, Imperial control of the surface was heavily reduced.

The Edichi Government, still desperate to retain control over the world is in a state of confusion, incompetence, and chaos. Local political and military leaders eager to elevate their reputation in the public eye, seldom follow government directives. A relative rush to bolster the ranks of the military ensue, and hunts for any functioning equipment are underway.

In the flurry of conflict and chaos of the proceeding years, where most eyes looked to the surface of the planet, the appearance of two rather large ‘stations’ of unknown origin has gone relatively unnoticed. Their purpose is a mystery as is where they came from. They hang barely in orbit of Edichi, no transmissions from either of the two ‘stations’ have been observed. No attempts have been made by the Edichi government to contact or investigate them.

No more findings regarding the mysterious ‘Structure’ have been made since it’s alleged destruction last year.

Separatist State (The Final Holdout)

Jan Muller marched through his Providence class destroyer, with purpose. He ignored the scars she had, the electric sparks shooting out every few minutes. Very few Droids opted to spend their time here. Only engineers and human support remained. As Jan strolled past, they would all stop what they were doing. Clicking boot heels, they salute. Jan however ignores them, as he approaches the command bridge. His loyal companion T-R3x awaited. He was not the only one however. Within the bridge was the last of the true Power within the state. Galactic Bankers (The very one’s who employed Jan), CIS lords stuck planet side, and the senior Command droids. All dropped to their knees, affirming Jan as leader. A Genosian nick named Flaps spread his arms wide.

“Ah, master Muller! We have been waiting for you.” Flaps moves to activate the hologram. “As you predicted, we are rather stranded here.”

Jan crosses his arms, and surveys the scene. He knew how desperate their situation was, but formality called. He begins in his nasally tone;

“Flaps, T-R3x, Lords of the State, I thank you for meeting me here.” He purposely strides to the hologram, stabbing his finger at a particular city. “We have spent too long already wasting away here. The facilities are running dry, and my quotas go un met.” Several of the lords begin to stutter, but Jan silences them with a upheld hand. “I do not blame any, merely our position is unfavorable. Iv’e come to suggest we march on the southernly island. The city there surely can’t be fully defended.”

At thus several of the CIS lords applaud the notion. They too have felt the burning need for more resources. However one man raised his voice. Ernst Junger, Admiral of the CIS ‘navy’. “My Lord, I feel you neglect me so.” Jan raises an eyebrow as Ernst continues. “Allow me to utilize the fleet. We have relatively stable intel alluding to a inner asteroid belt. Let me go there in search of minerals. If one fails, the other may work.” Jan nods, and prompts Ernst and T-R3x to make their respective plans. Jan would take to the field.

Mr. Muller looked as the last star faded from the sky. It was his navy, already underway to complete their own task. Admiral Junger and half the star-fighters left the planet’s orbit. They would scout the Inner asteroid belt, and hopefully harvest much needed minerals. It was Jan who had the larger task ahead of him. While the navy collected rocks, he would conquer a city.

T-R3x stayed behind, too useful for a assault. But he was the mastermind of this attack. The Droid armies would be utilized to their full potential. The only problem was the channel between the two islands. It wasn’t too much of a barrier, but prevented the land army rolling over. Landing an army would take time and risk. And so Jan and sixty-nine BX Commando Droids will wait until a stormy night. As the army mobilizes on the shores, these seventy Droids will make a [stealthy] insertion into the hostile island on their seventy STAP’s. If it works, Jan and his coterie of commandos will work their way along the shore, and inland. One by one they hopefully ambush, neutralize, or subdue listening post, guard post, patrols etc etc.

As dawn comes, the Droid army will hopefully have a safe beach head, and the Island will be none the wiser. The remaining Star-Fighters will escort the C-9979 Landing craft, to begin landing the main army. With every passing wave, the army is sent to the “front lines”. For if the Edichi gain wind, they will most likely try to push them off the island. So with every wave, the Droid’s solidify their beach head more.

If/When the full army is transported across, the army will march on the city. Either after a protracted fight to hold the beachhead, or in complete surprise, the commandos and Jan doing their work. Either way the city will be asked to integrate into the Confederacy, becoming a power within the State in their own right. Failure to do so will mean a siege of the city. CIS forces will surround it, and slowly squeeze it dry.

The entire offensive is conducted in a way to minimize losses.

Actions

With little resources to do much, expansion is needed.

The CIS fleet is dispatched to the Inner asteroid belt, to harvest materials needed to build and repair droids/ships.

The CIS army is dispatched under Jan Muller to conquer or integrate the neighboring Edichi island city.

203rd ATTACK BATTALION

Clone Commander Attre assesses the situation on the surface of Edichi, c. 17 BBY

Commander Attre stood at the center of his command tent, flanked by what appeared to be his most trusted lieutenants. Their gazes were fixed upon the table center to all of them. On the table was a holographic projection of the surrounding area, with markers denoting areas of particular interest. The harsh wind outside the tent, bit at the armor of the troopers, and whipped at the surface of the tent. Vision was restricted to but a few meters in front of oneself., as heavy snowfalls piled atop the ground, throughout the day. It wasn’t an optimal situation to find yourself in, though, at least they would not be pursued this far north.

-

“Sir?” a familiar voice called out. Though, all the voices he’d heard recently heard were familiar. They were clone troopers. They looked the same, spoke the same, and possessed the same tenacity and ferocity of loyalty. They were his brothers, and to an extent, all he ever knew. For he and his brethren were created in the cloning facilities of Kamino, bred for combat against the Separtist menace.

Attre had tuned out the conversation at hand, his mind was elsewhere, “Yes?” he replied, staring out across the table emptily towards the trooper who stood before him. Unsure of exactly, whose voice it was, he was glad he had his helmet on.

“We can’t stay here much longer.” the clone added. By now, he knew he who he was speaking with. His trusted friend, since the Geonosian campaign, CT-1777, or as the Battalion had come to know him as, ‘Lucky’. Attre regained his bearings, glancing across the visors of the other clones assembled before him, CT-4007 ‘Octane’, CT-6185 ‘Gibbs’, CT-4015 ‘Blisk’, CT-4027 ‘Thorne’, and CT-5190 ‘Sloane’.

He had memorized all their serial numbers and the nicknames by now which many went by. The clones, he often thought to himself, too were pushed off the assembly line as Separtist droids were. But, whenever these thoughts resonated in his mind, he assured himself that clones were better than that. That they possess individuality and spirit, and were not mindless automatons “I agree, though to where, I remain unsure.”

“I’ve tried hailing the locals through open transmission several times. No answer.” Lucky said.

“Interference from the storm?” asked Gibbs.

“Doubtful. We’ve got a deep transmitter. Maybe we’re being jammed.” added Lucky.

“Whatever the case, we need to get moving. We’ve nearly exhausted all of the region’s resources.” commented Sloane.

“Closest city is a short trip south, along the coast. Not too sure the locals will receive us.” said Gibbs.

“They probably see us as an invading force. I’d stay away from them. Don’t think we have the manpower to keep a civilian populace in check.” said Blisk.

Attre had let the clones speak among themselves, formulating his own strategy while they pointed various concerns or intelligence regarding the mission. He valued the opinion of his brothers deeply, although, it would be him who decided the fate of what remained of the Battalion. He heaved a burdened sigh, addressing all of those within the tent, “Listen here. Here’s what’s gonna happen. There’s two issues I see that needed to be tended to foremost. We need a permanent base of operations, and we need to compensate for our reduced numbers. I say take a hundred, and fly them directly south with one of our Acclimators and one hundred fifty men. There, you should hit a mountain range, fortify it and dig into the sides of the mountains. The other Acclimator and the rest will go beyond those mountains. If they push forward enough, the second group should come upon a coastal city. We’re gonna need to replenish our numbers, and we’ll start there. I’m going to head the recruiting op. Lucky, Gibbs, Octane - you’re with me. Blisk will head the base efforts - Sloane and and Thorne, you report to him. Any questions?” Attre concluded, scanning the faces of his officers.

“Uh yes, sir.” Lucky raised his chin, “What if the locals start blasting us?”

“Well, you better hope you don’t get hit.”

Lucky cocked his head to the side, though knew better not to dabble upon it.

“Anything else?”

“What about our remaining capital ships? That leaves our light cruisers and star destroyers on standby.” inquired Thorne.

“Ah, of course.” nodded Attre. Attre paused a moment, fiddling with the dials of the holoprojector. After a moment, a new image was displayed - a map of the entire system. “Right. Edichi has two satellites. We’ll go to the larger one and scour the surface for minerals. For that, we’ll dispatch our two Victory-classes and two of our light cruisers. Take whatever is of value, and return to the mountains. Hopefully by then, we’ll have some place to call home. I’ll contact Admiral Condotta and inform him of what we’ve discussed. I believe we are finished here. Pack your things, for we execute the mission on sunrise.”

“Aye, sir.” the clones called out in unison, snapping salutes and turning as they began to make their preparations. They dispersed in each direction, going to give their companies their new directives.

Attre, sighed once more, leaning upon the holotable, staring deeply into the three-dimensional projection. It was now time to act. More than ever, he felt the weight upon his shoulders.

-

ACTIONS

  • An Acclimator and a detachment of 150 clone troopers are sent to the mountains south of the northern tundra of Edichi. Their task is to scout the various peaks and valleys for a suitable base location. They have permission to use whatever blasting and mining equipment at their disposal, and begin the construction of a permanent base.

  • The second task force will fly past the potential base site towards the ocean. The Acclimator, flanked by two light cruisers will approach the coastal city and disembark their men. A show of force, with much of the 203rd Battalion’s armor and infantry will march throughout the city. If allowed, they’ll attempt to recruit from the populace and assure them they mean no harm. If aggressed upon, they will not hesitate to return fire.

  • The third task force will be comprised of two Victory-class star destroyers and the remaining two Arquitens-class light cruisers. They are tasked with surveying the surface of Edichi’s larger moon and excavating any potential minerals or salvaging any debris. If engaged by a larger force, their orders are to retreat to into the denser of the asteroid belts. Otherwise, the salvage teams will proceed with the plan.

Imperial Loyalist Centre

Captain Orsek walked up to the door to the Commodore's Quarters. Adjusting his uniform he pressed the button to the door, moments later it lit green and opened. He frowned seeing the place a mess, chairs turned over, personal effects littered the ground. Varina sat behind her desk, calm and collected. He walked forward stepping carefully over the items on the floor. “I take it the negotiations didn’t go as planned?” he asked.

Varina shook her head “No, it didn’t.” she sighed. Orsek reached down picking up an old clone flight helmet. “Kamino Rebellion, shot him down myself. He was a good pilot.” she commented.

“That was your…” he tries to think as she fills in the gap “Forty fourth mission, yes.” she stands going about reordering her things back to how they should be. “Why do you collect so many things Commodore?” he asks curiously

“It’s a habit, to remind me of victories and losses alike. So I don’t forget what I’ve learned. But that aside Captain, what do you need?”

“The Ground Commander is awaiting further orders, outside communications have been seized and all hangars have been taken without issue. The city is more or less under our control.”

“I’ll send a communique detailing the next phase of my plans to you. Then you can relay them to the Ground Commander.”

The Captain stands to attention before offering a short bow “I’ll return to the bridge then.” He turns and leaves the room. After a short time she has everything back in order, she looks to the odd droid she had acquired after her last promotion. After all the chaos that had happened she didn’t have time to turn it on and test its functions.

Reaching around the back of the droid she finds the panel and with some difficulty she turns it on. Stepping back it powers on as it’s eyes light up a bright orange and it comes to life.

“Czerka HK Fifty Five Model Active, recognition sequence..” The droids looks over Varina before speaking again “Conclusion: You must be my new Master, Master.”

“I’ve never heard your model type before...what are your functions?” she asks

“Answer: I am equipped with a translator unit for use in over a thousand languages, my priorities are to defend my Master at all cost. I specialize in Ranged and Melee Combat.”

“You don’t look like a any combat model I’ve seen..”

“Statement: Most meatbags tend to not know a good killer even when it is standing in front of them. That is why the Grand Admiral assigned me to protect you at all costs, Master.”

Independent Edichi Movement

jedi_order_symbol_desktop_wallpaper_by_swmand4_d7lg97m-pre.jpg

The government is useless, Captain Lor Billa soon decided. The Imperials had little to no power in Keigh, though the far side of the continent was little less than a hub of his greatest enemies. Yet, he couldn’t acquire a single proton cannon from the mayor.

His camp, a bunker whose entrance was in the deepest corner of a tunnel network maze under Keigh, was filled with men and women. For every militia, for every trained shot, there were ten that had never held a gun. For each person that could carry their rations, there were five that nearly didn’t know what the meaning of ‘rations’ was. The only feature each held was in their eyes – the same gleaming, fresh looks of those that saw something across the horizon. Hope. It won wars, kept the weak from being destroyed by the strong. Scanning the room, then, he announced the year’s operations:

[Actions]

In the towns of Alpa and Dreis, a squadron each of nine soldiers and one sergeant arrive to begin subsidiary cells of their own. Hidden among the populace still, Lor’s rebellion must grow its numbers in enough dispersion to evade the gaze of the Imperial forces. The sleepy towns, where Imperial supervision was more lax, would make perfect expansion points.

image.png.9ab3e046314ea301afbda08713ab4671.png

A half-platoon led by Lieutenant Dal Koor, made of 21 soldiers, makes its way throughout the year to Argowell by basic transport, where they too begin to recruit new members to the fledgling Movement. They begin recruitment slowly, ensuring any recruits continue their day-to-day lives to prevent Imperial suspicion.

image.png.d4ae3f482235f3f44909fe4d37489f70.png

The last 23 soldiers, including Captain Lor Billa, stay in Keigh to begin training the many recruits to a level where they can at least be used.

-

Among the recruits in Keigh, a young woman with a repainted R2 unit joins the others in combat training, and, when that finishes each morning, disappears into the hills. A Jedi Knight, practicing her craft far to the north of the rebels she has unofficially joined.

(Dral Odall circa 17 BBY )

Dral Odall and a few of his men stood on a beach staring out across the sea. The group was silent, Dral spoke first to his men “There should be a city due East of here, we can gather supplies and replenish our ranks there before we continue the expedition.” A small company of men was hastily gathered and loaded onto one of the available transports. After a brief.. ‘Meeting’ with the local governor, the city reluctantly agreed to allow the Mandalorians to operate their warehouses and production facilities. The local Edichi were also so kind as to provide their administrative buildings as a permanent site of residence to the company. Dral looked over the city from his new residence, Mandalorian ships landed periodically, unloading equipment and supplies from their previous camp. Patrols marched through the city, keeping a firm eye on the populace.

With a base of operations firmly established, Dral summoned the most prestigious of his various officers to a meeting in order to discuss the future of the expedition. Slowly they began filtering into the room, soon enough they were all gathered around a holo table where a map of the planet’s surface displayed.

“Thank you for meeting with me gentleman, I’ll get right to it.We need to assume control of the other nearby Settlements, recruit as many men as possible and establish relations and trade with nearby friendly groups. And finally we can start the search for the artifact.” Dral explains “The most important thing for us is convincing these cities to join us. We need manpower. People are our biggest strength. So while we try and obtain control over these people we need to remember that. I don’t want anybody to die that doesn’t have to. Is that clear?”

The room erupts with a simultaneous “Yes sir.” then Vaaz speaks

“ Shall I lead Group A Dral?”

“Yes. you’re just the man I need. Vaaz will lead Group A, Thadix my dear friend I would like you and Zoruukeam to take the lead for Group B and secure the other city.

“Sure thing Dral.” Thadix and Zoruukeam reply

“Good. Then IG-96 and I will go speak to our neighbors and try to make allies. My friends we all have a job to do, let's get to work and soon everything I have promised you will be yours but most importantly you will bring Glory and honor to Mandalore!!”

Dral finishes up the meeting and everyone gets to work. There is much left to do.

After a few weeks it is reported back that Vaaz’s group has successfully persuaded the local government of another town to operate in their town, allowing us similar privileges as the last town did. The third and final town eventually also allowed us in but needed a bit of force in persuading them to support our cause. Dral is angry with Thadix and Zoruukeam and calls them in to talk.

“ You had one job you two.. One job!” he yells

Thadix speaks up “Yeah Dral and we completed that job whats the problem?”

“Your job was to do that peacefully.. We need everybody on board and not a single life wasted. That is what I told you and what you KNOW. Who asked you to kill anybody?” Dral sighs

“ Nobody asked for anything pal, bad things.. They just happen.” Zoruukeam interjects

Dral gets even angrier “ That..this could go very wrong for us down the line. Killing their people means that some of them will want blood. And then they’ll start a rebellion and then our men will die. All because you got trigger happy and went against MY orders.. Zoruukeam this isn’t even the first time that’s happen. That Job on Taris.. And then that time on Garos. They’re still pissed at us there. You’re my friends Zoruukeam, and Thadix.. You two and Vaaz are like Brothers to me. We’ve been friends since we were kids. But sometimes Zoruukeam it seems like you never stopped being one.” Your shoot first think later attitude will get us all killed. But you guys are my officers. I am counting on you, the whole clan relies on you to do what is best for all of us. Be an example to the men. Please? Just try.. For me man.”

Zoruukeam looks upset, regardless he replies “Alright.. You’re right Dral. I know my actions have cost us a few times. But it's just sometimes during a fight my brain goes fuzzy and I lose focus on the mission and just.. Lose myself. But I will try harder for you. You’ve always had my back.”

“Thank you man.”

Dral knew Zoruukeam wasn’t actually sorry. He apologized twice before. He was a good friend and a great soldier but only during war. He had no morals and Dral tended to think Zoruukeam killed because he liked it. Dral decided he would just have to shorten the leash on his friend to keep him from messing up again. And Thadix was alright. He was just the type to support his friend even if he knew he did wrong. But regardless of all that Dral went back to work. He and a group of men set up a small military base on the island they arrived on in case they ever need to fall back there.

Actions

  • Took control of three small cities

  • Made contact with northern neighbor

  • Set up a little base on the island first landed on

Clan Ordo

133c40f277bd43a8e4f7323dfff8ef99cc9f925b

Through the Military base that the Clan had established Yunan Ordo marched. At his side two of his fellow clansmates and Mando’ade. He quickly and in an orderly fashion marched to the command center where a gathering of the Clan’s highest members where gathered. To be precise there were 4 other Mandalorians part of the Clan’s high command. They were: Tarro, Vorten, Valen and Voll. With Voll being the only female amongst those assembled. As he arrived Yunan nodded to those assembled with a quick “Vode” which was quickly mirrored by the rest in the tent.

Yunan then moved to the holo projector where a map of the nearby area and the settlements on it were clearly displayed. More specifically the map showed the Southern point of the continent on which Clan Ordo was located. Mostly focusing on the islands of it and the coastal cities. Parts of the map where factions held territory were either colored Orange, black or grey. With Grey being the colour for neutral cities and black representing the pirates whilst Orange represented the Clan Ordo forces. On the map were four cities, Nozam, Trebian, Kazam and Andwell. With Andwell being the main hub of the region. Yunan then spoke in his calm and authorative voice.((Translated to galactic basic from Mando’a)) “Brothers, we are gathered to discuss how to pacify the local area and thus gain the materials and men needed to find the artifact.” He then lets the screen magnify towards the town nearerst to the Mandalorian base which was neutral and then turned to orange. “As you all know we have recently aquired the aid of the settlement of Trebian. They will help provide us with equipment and possible recruits. However, for now we will mostly focus on expanding our airforces. ”

Yunan then turned to Valen “Valen seeing as you are the Senior pilot you will train 20 more of our fellow brothers to be able to pilot our craft. This might be a bit excessive for what we will get but it is better to have too many pilots than too little.” Yunan then continues on about the other topic. “Our next goal will be to subjugate the town of Nozam and offer it similair terms to the ones offered to Trebian. Hopefully the negotiations will go in a similair manner.

He then turns to look at the other Mandalorians “After t-h-a-

[REDACTED]

”Once that is done we will start our search for the artifact. Right now we have limited intelligence on where it might be located. It could be located on either this continent or the other. All we know is that it is on the planet. Thus we will need to develop better sensors. The R&D department will thus have to work on increasing the strength of our sensors or find another solution to actively scan large areas that go relatively deep underground. Understood ?” The other Mandalorians nodded at this and walked away

((more rp might be added later))

Actions

-The settlement of Trebian is asked to focus their production on building the Mandalorian type fighter and 20 Mandalorians are trained as pilots

-Yunan studies information about the local area

-The techy Mandalorians and Engineers are ordered to create or aqurie some strong sensor

“Keep moving”

“Im freezing my balls off”

Here his army lays, deployed on a planet without any orders. All attempts of communications were to no avail. Malric took matters into his own hands.

He knew how to win battles, he was a tactical genius but he found himself completely lost with no contact from the outside . He went back and forth in his quarters, looking at a map hologram. Then, he stopped, moved outside and ordered the pilots to prepare themselves.

A squadron of 10  ARC fighters was scouting the nearby vicinity, a radius of 1000 km. They are to report any settlements they encounter, resource deposits, and land marks, and locations of interest.

Additionally, the Acclamator assault ship accompanied by a Arquetins light cruiser will extract any useful resources from the smaller and closer moon orbiting the planet. The fleet will void hostile contact, unless they have a clear and significant advantage.

The remainder of the clone remnant will be heading north towards nearby Phaross. Residents are offered protection in exchange for food and loyalty.

Afterwards, they will continue to the Northern mountain range, a spot will be selected as a permanent base of operations. The location should be on higher ground, surrounded by rough terrain, granting a huge defensive advantage to the clones.

Another smaller group, composed of 5 AT RTs will travel south, to the coastal village. There, villagers will be offered a similar proposition.

Imperial Legion

Stranded on Edichi (Turn 1):

Commander Otto would walk towards Taurus in their base. “Sir,” he’d begin, “we have lost communication with the rest of the Imperial fleet outside the sector. That pulse… it fried our communication devices.”

“And our fleet? How does it fair? Taurus would reply.

Everything is in check sir, we’ve taken no damage from it. But sir, what is our course of action now?

Nothing changes… We continue on with the mission. Send word to all your subordinates, we’re staying on course.

Aye sir.” he’d respond leaving the room. Taurus would face the rest of his commanders.

This pulse has cut off our communication with the other groups, we must re-establish contact with them and maintain order and control over Edichi. For the longer we are in the dark, the longer rebels can plan insurgencies. We must also maintain control over our city, up the patrols and send scouting parties to the mountains to the east. I want firm control of the region. I was told stories about the glorious 501st Legion, let’s see how they actually perform.

Taurus would grip his lightsaber tightly, “Now that the Edichi issues have been handled, I can focus on my true mission- the hunt for Jedi.” He’d face a select group of 10 clones he handpicked to help him in his mission. “You 10 have been selected to aid me in my mission to hunt the last of the Jedi. I hear that each of you is an elite soldier.” (clones will remain nameless right now, i need time to think.)

Sir, we will aid you however we can.” the captain would reply,

Good then begin your search and report back to me. You are dismissed.”

Actions:

  • Establish connection with the other Imperial groups. (mod)

  • Maintain control over the city, having patrols and monitoring who leaves and comes in, but not interfering in daily life. (mod)

  • Send out squads to scout the nearby areas. (mod)

17 BBY

(Early Months)

The Final Holdout

The selected vessels of what remains of the CIS fleet is dispatched to the Inner belt.

They exit the atmosphere with no trouble before proceeding to open space. By the mid 17 BBY various reports on several potentially lucrative asteroids filter back into High command.

The assault on Myros goes exceedingly well. The city, unaware of the separatist presence and unsuspecting of an attack is taken entirely by surprise. The BX commandos led by Jan ruthlessly secure a beach head without much of a fight. By the time local Edichi forces catch wind of the incursion, Droid forces have deployed en masse, any hastily prepared attempts to repel the invaders are terminated. By Mid morning the local government has unconditionally surrendered to Jan and the droid army.  Edichi civilians wake up to the roar of separatist fighters overhead, droid patrols in the streets, and CIS flags flying overhead.

(-3 BX Commandos) (+20 AT-LEs, +2 MR-PCs)

Long live the Confederacy!

203rd Attack Battalion

The First task force, dispatched to the mountains finds a suitable location for a permanent HQ. Though not equipped with the best or most proper excavation equipment, work begins nonetheless. As the early months of 17 BBY roll to a close, the beginnings of a hangar are finished as well as other basic facilities.

The second task force arrives at the designated city without issue. Not far from the city limits the 203rd disembarks in force. The march to city is met with no resistance, crowds of civilians gather in the streets to welcome the Grand Army of the Republic. The majority of the populace is welcoming to the Clones, including the local government. Once their mission is made clear, enthusiasm dies down. Small groups of men opt to join the battalion, but they’re far from equals to the rest of the troops.

(+100 raw recruits)

The third task force successfully surveys the largest of Edichi’s moon. Even though they are far from properly equipped for such missions, the clones makes do. Excavation efforts begin, the first load of raw material arrives at the base site in mid 17 BBY though it is rather underwhelming.

Loyalist Centre

Communication with the other 3 Imperial Battle groups is made.

Tensions within the Edichi capital (LP-A) remain high. The number of Imperial supporters within the government and the civilian population is far outweighed by those who oppose the occupation. Though no physical clashes erupt, any single event could cause the entire city to erupt into chaos.

Battle of the Isosus Peninsula

After refusing the directives of the Loyalist Centre to cede all command, the former 1st Imperial Battlegroup was placed on high alert. Their fears become reality when long range sensors detected Loyalist forces approaching on their positions. The fighter wings were scrambled, The navy in the immediate vicinity called forth to form a defence against the overwhelming might of the Loyalist Navy.

The first of the fighting occurs in the skies, the loyalist fleet composing of an Imperial Star Destroyer, a Victory Class Star Destroyer, and 4 Arquitens Class Light Cruisers are only met by a Single Victory class accompanied by 4 Arquiten Light Cruisers. The battle, occuring in low orbit rages across the skies. Wings of TIE fighters zip through the battle, their ever present wail fills the air. The Loyalist forces, led by Varina Rourke in her TIE defender quickly overwhelm the smaller fleet. The ISD Ravager’s overwhelming firepower deals massive amount of damage to the opposing fleet. Unable to compete with the Loyalist’s massive amount of firepower Imperial forces attempt to withdraw. The Victory class cruiser, nearly escaping is dealt a critical blow, explosions rip across the ship as it plummets to the surface of the Edichi. Only one Arquitens class light cruiser escapes the battle.

The ground campaign is a different story. Numerically superior and entrenched Imperial forces resist the Loyalist landings fiercely.  Every step closer to the Imperial headquarters at LP-B is paid for in blood. However Loyalist domination of the skies effectively renders the defenders strong points and armor useless. Imperial bombing and strafing runs quickly dispatch exposed targets. Imperial forces opt to launch a fighting retreat back to their headquarters. After eight days of intense and bloody fighting, much of the infrastructure leading to and surrounding the headquarters is captured by loyalist forces. The gates of Imperial headquarters are reached. The beginnings of a siege are set in motion, Loyalist bomber wings begin neutralizing strategic assets in the city. Several days into the siege, what's left of the 1st battle group surrender, most likely under the pressure of the local government and population. What remains of the battlegroup personnel pledges its allegiance Loyalist Command and the remaining assets are absorbed. The whereabouts of what remained of the 1st Battle Group's fleet is unknown.

Loyalist Losses

(-135 Stormtroopers, -824 Imperial Army Troopers)

(-3 AT-STs, -1 TX-225 tank)

(-26 TIE fighters, -2 TIE bombers)

1st Battle group Losses

(-253 Stormtroopers, -483 Imperial Army Troopers)

(-5 AT-STs, -2 TX-225 tanks, -2 AT-ATs)

(-36 TIE fighters, -3 TIE interceptors, -6 TIE bombers)

( -1 Victory Class Star Destroyer, -3 Arquitens Class Light Cruisers)

Edichi Task Force Losses

(-56 Stormtroopers)

(-3 TIE fighters)

Independant Edichi Movement

The two squadrons dispatched to Alpa and Dreis respectively find great success. Most of the locals harbour some form of Anti-Imperial sentiment and quickly jump on the opportunity. reports arrive back in Keigh. The establishment of the Alpa, and Dreis cell respectively are successful.

The half platoon dispatched to Argowell arrives without issue. The populace, historically isolated and disconnected from the rest of the world doesn't offer much support to the rebels, but they manage to scrounge up a handful of recruits.

(+74 recruits)

Training initiatives in Keigh are met with relative levels of success.

(+53 regulars, -53 recruits)

Captain Lor Billa is approached with an offer by one of the locals (Discord)

Clan Odall

Odall troops successfully manage to assume control of the three settlements south east of the river. However between the local garrisons and the main base, Odall troops are spread extremely thin.

Contact with the Imperial Legion to the north is established.

At the intiatal landing site fortifications begin construction. A lack of manpower severely hampers the project, over the course of the following months some minor fortifications as well as basic facilities are established.

Clan Ordo

Production at Treiban begins, however most facilities lack the proper equipment and resources. As the months move on the factories slowly optimize though no finished fighters are produced, only several partially finished ones.

A stronger sensor is acquired from the local government at Treiban. Initial examinations deem it to be more than adequate for their intended purposes.

Fortifications at the main base are more or less finished, several strong points and emplacements are constructed. In addition, a shield generator generously ‘donated’ by the local forces at Treiban is installed.

82nd Dread Battalion

The Fighters scout the nearby area, little of note is spotted, just empty desert. What seems to be a structure or remnants of some complex is sighted in the south eastern section of the desert however.

Phaross and the coastal settlement largely reject the offers of vassalization. Little information as to why is known, but the army carries on nonetheless.

The two shuttles dispatched to the smallest of Edichi’s two moons arrive without issue. Mining operations begin though progress is slow due to the lack of proper equipment and machinery.

A suitable location for the base is discovered in the mountains, with most of the battalion’s efforts focused there construction begins without much issue. As the early months of 17 BBY finish off, basic facilities as well as light fortifications are completed.

Imperial Legion

Contact with the other Imperial battlegroups is established.

The city lies firmly in Imperial hands. No information regarding the existence of any rebel or opposition cells has arrived. Patrols routinely sweep the city and Imperial forces heavily monitor everything arriving and leaving the city.

Squads sent out arrive with.. Interesting news. It seems that a Mandalorian war party has successfully managed to assume control of the settlements south east of the river. Their numbers are not known, but it appears their forces are stretched rather thin.

The personal squad sent out to search for the Jedi scum return with no findings… How disappointing.

104th Battalion

The ships arrive in the outer asteroid belt with no issue, mining efforts begin but suffer from a lack of the proper equipment and machinery. The first shipments of raw material soon begin arriving back at the base of operations.

A secure transmission is sent out in an effort to contact possible surviving clone battalions, though nothing is received in return. Maybe they’re choosing not to respond? Or maybe we really are all that's left…

The Battalion’s current positions begin to be fortified. As the early months of 17 BBY draw to a close the effort was deemed largely successful. Strong points, trenches, and emplacements form a strong defense around the base.

Dorno and his clone contingent successfully survey the land. It would seem most of the area in the immediate vicinity is heavily wooded. The local wildlife, though extremely interesting and unique isn't particularly hostile. Arthropods, Mammals, and Aves are the most common, some creatures surprisingly enough are partially fluorescent.

Beasts of Zillo

The local black market seems to be a rather medium size, nothing like what we had on Coruscant. The Beasts of Zillo seem to be one of the larger crime groups in the area.

The nearby area is surveyed, reports of a Mandalorian expedition off the southern coast of the continent filter back. It seems they’ve taken control of one of many of the southern isles, including a rather large city. How curious.

What hidden camp is Finch talking about? Clearly he’s gone mad, almost all of the pirates are currently living in Andwell.

A local crime group, the Red Sun Federation has quite the large stash of heavier blasters and equipment. Some rumors even say they have a small stash of AT-LEs, perhaps they’d be willing to sell some of it off.

There’s not a whole lot of space to train the pirates, though some find the time. “who is Finch to try and organize us? We’re doing just fine how we are, right?”

The Edichi Task Force

Holdings governed by the task force largely switch to a system nearly identical to that of the Edichi. Though this is not entirely unopposed, small groups of the Imperial officer corp oppose this decision, believing it will lessen the grip of the Empire on the territories.

The 1st and 3rd groups dispatched to gain control of the nearby settlements are successful. The cities reluctantly allow the entry of Imperial forces. Though the second settlement, at the foothills of the mountain openly denounces the Task Force’s blatant Imperialism. The Arquitens cruiser, upon approaching the city is fired on by an array of gun batteries and forced to retreat after sustaining minor damage.

Expansion of the production facilities begins though it is slow. The local Edichi are very reluctant to offer their services to who they see as an oppressor.

The recruitment campaign is launched, though it doesn't pick up much traction a few men opt to join the Imperial Navy.

(+50 Imperial Navy Troopers)

No company fulfills the requirements for the contract. Though major companies possess the means to, many would rather produce their own fighters or work for Edichi clients rather than the Empire.

The surveyors sent to the mountains are mostly successful. When they were not restricted by the hostilities of the foothill city they managed to complete their missions. Reports filtering back to high command suggest that there are many resource rich deposits.

The selected forces are dispatched to aid the Loyalist forces.

Separatist State (The Final Holdout)

Three full Cohorts of Separatist set up occupancy in the city of Prosperity. Until recently it was governed by various Edichi dignitaries. However thanks to Jan’s daring and the commandos, it was now theirs. Little actual fighting had taken place. Instead the government had surrendered relatively fast. They would not be trod upon and enslaved. Instead the Dignitaries are allowed to keep their power, and integrate peacefully into the CIS. They would become yet another cog within the machinery of the Holdout.

The city would still have to contribute however. Resources and manpower was needed to supplement the CIS armies. A tax is levied to go to the Droid facilities at the Holdout. The city of Prosperity would also have to provide a contingent of troops. These troops along side prospective CIS lords will enter training. They will work to become the next CIS officer cadre. These organic officers will gradually come to command the various Droid cohorts. As for the taxes, the Droid Facility would begin immediate production of more B2 Battle Droids. They were needed to increase the amount of heavy infantry in each Cohort.

The City itself would become the de facto capital of the CIS Holdout. The bankers and nobility would move from the cramped Droid factory. They’d meet with the Edichi dignitaries, and begin cementing an actual government. It would equal parts be Edichi and CIS, though the Edichi are now recognized as being firmly under the CIS umbrella. A delegation is sent to the nearby city on the coast of the southern continent. They are given the generous offer to integrate into the Confederacy as a power in their own right. In return they’d be offered protection, investment, and freedom. Jan is absent during all this.

Two Droid Cohorts begin landing on the mainland, in remote areas. Elsewhere Ernst Junger arranges a formal expedition. CIS vessels with mining equipment would follow up the recon operation. They will begin setting up mines on the asteroids for the resources. B1 droids and Edichi are levied to do the work.

Actions

Levying Troop and Resource tax on Edichi

Forming Organic Officer cadre

Beginning construction of B2 Battle Droids

Sending a Delegation to nearby city, inviting them into CIS

Continuing Mining Operation

Imperial News Network

“Recently the Imperial Centre fought and sacrificed many brave souls to liberate Isosus from the treasonous Leadership of Imperial Battlegroup 1. While it’s Leaders had fled with what they could take, a few brave men deserted and joined the Imperial Centre turning against Imperial Exiles.”

“With this however the Imperial Centre asks what can YOU do for Edichi? Go to your local Imperial Recruitment Center to join either the Navy, Army or Logistical Core. There is a place in the Empire for everyone! Do your part today!”

“And in greater Planetary News! The Imperial Unification Treaty has been formalized with all three Battle Groups meeting to sign to show a united goal for defending Edichi from threats External and Internal!”

Rourke turned off the screen with a smirk “I never realized how painful it was to watch Imperial Propaganda as an Imperial.”

Orsek chuckled “Yah, ISB sure has fun doing their work. You think this will work?”

“It’s more of a long term effort, as people see others come to our side it's like...a snowball effect.”

Orsek pulls out a Datapad “I dispatched our battle group as ordered, I do believe we are stretching ourselves thin.”

“This is a vital expansion Captain, The Capital and Isosus have plenty of manufacturing that we could potentially have access too, but that requires us to rely on the locals. So once we start stockpiling some resources and pending on how the ILC pulls through we may be able to start producing our own assets.”

“ILC?” he questions “You mean the Imperial Logistics Core?”

“That’s the one, nothing says ‘Great Job’ like work you’re already familiar with that gives military grade pay does it?”
