(Drawing of Dral Odall)

Dral Odall stands on a shore facing the sea after training with his lightsaber. Looking around him he sees nothing but calm waves splashing against the shore and a rising sun in the background. When he started thinking about memories of his mother. (Oceans were her favorite view. Ever since he was a kid he dreamed of seeing an ocean after his mother told him about them many times as a child, so anytime he had a private moment and he was around an ocean he would remember her.) Dral activates his communication device and orders for the immediate recruitment and training of anyone who will join willingly in their new settlements. For Dral knew they could not last long as stretched thin as they were. But also at the same time he ordered that they try and make friends with the people and change their public opinion so they would get more recruits and also just not be rebelled against. “Yes sir we’ll let the other settlement know too.” was said in tandem from two of his lieutenants in the main base of operations in the southern settlement.  “One last thing men. I would also like you two to search through the warehouses around your stationed settlements and let me know if you find anything of value to help us.” Dral said before pressing a button on his comlink and ending communications. Then he stood there for a moment catching one last glimpse of the sea before getting into his transport vehicle and drove north to meet with the Imperial Legion and discuss trading and other diplomatic matters with the goal of becoming good friends with them for the future. At the time that happens the rest of Clan Odall set up within the settlements improving relations with the inhabitants so that large scale pacification happens. As that progresses Propaganda will also be used in some cases. Finally a few of the Odall clan scour the cities individually and look for any companies willing to do business with the clan.

Actions

  • Warehouses in the settlements are scavenged

  • Made contact with northern neighbor

  • Building the base on the island is continued.

  • Much effort is put into improving relations with the locals in the settlements [mod]

  • The cities are scoured for any companies willing to do business with clan Odall [mod]

203RD ATTACK BATTALION REPORT

A squadron of ARC-170s provide escort for the trio of capital ships bound for the surface of Edichi, c. 17 BBY.

“RNS Dauntless. You are cleared to land at LZ-Alpha. Decrease throttle. Tugboats will guide you in.”

“We copy, reentering atmosphere… now. 470 clicks out and descending.” replied a commanding voice. The voice belonged to that of Fleet Admiral Lucien Condotta, who stood firmly in control at the center of the bridge of the Victory-class star destroyer, the Dauntless. From where he stood, he possessed an overarching view of the stations of each of the bridge staff. With their backs turned, manning the consoles, some still felt the heavy weight of the gaze of the distinguished Clone Wars fleet admiral.

“Routine landing sequence everyone. Day 471.. Still no scratches on the hull. Let’s keep it that way.” came a second, more hoarse and aged voice, to the right of Admiral Condotta - the First Mate, Jalen Ryon.

It was just that, another day. The crew of Dauntless were familiar with combat and the ins and outs of their ship, they’d be damned if they botched a landing. The bridge was eerily quiet, many of the crew unsure of what to expect. The boys on the ground had been given some time to construct their base. Hopefully their efforts paid off. It was nearly quiet except for one of the officers giving periodic updates regarding the ship’s altitude. “400 clicks. 350. 300… 100… 50… 25..”

A voice once again came through the radio, “We see you, Dauntless. Tugboats engaging tractor beams. Sit back and relax. We’ll take you in.” With that, there a subtle jolt in the ship as the tugs activated their tractor beams. Ever so gracefully did they ease the star destroyer into its specially constructed landing site, before breaking off to aid the two light cruisers in their landing.

Admiral Condotta heaved a sigh of relief, a smile crossing his tired features for the first time in many cycles, “Another happy landing.

Individuals gather around the holotable in the situation room, c. 17 BBY

“Sir, incoming transmission from an old Republic frequency.”

“Impossible, CT-4910. What other Republic assets were there on Edichi?” responded Lt. Blisk, padding towards the holotable at the center of the dimly situation room.

“Unsure. Though, there were other deployments, states the mission manifest.” said the communications officer.

“If more of our brothers are out there, we have to contact them.” said Blisk, hand held firmly upon the grip of his DC-17, as if ready to leap into action at this moment.

“Shall I patch them through?” asked the officer, shakily.

“Yes. Let’s hear what they have to say.”

An example of a Republic propaganda/recruitment poster hung throughout the city.

Through the bustling streets Arranoc, which the clones have come to know it as, marched Clone Commander Attre. He was flanked by a squad of clones, among them Lucky and Octane. Each stride they took was with purpose - they had a clear destination as they brushed past the civilians on the sidewalk. It seemed that some of the citizens had cozied up to the clone troopers. That much, he was thankful for. They were surprisingly well received and weren’t blasted on sight. In all of the scenarios that played out in his head, he never foresaw the cheering at their arrival. With each face they passed, some waved, others smiled, while some children approached the white-clad men in curiosity - only to be guided away by their parents. We’re still outsiders, he thought. Trust doesn’t come by easily.

“We’re here sir.” declared one of the clone troopers, “City hall.” he and another trooper took up guard positions by the entrance, propping their long-barrelled DC-15s against their shoulders.

“So it seems.” said Attre, turning to the rest of his escort, “Alright, boys. Come in with me. Safety on - no mishaps. And do me a favor… don’t embarrass me.

“You can count on it, sir.” said Lucky.

Attre scanned the visors of the rest of the troopers, seemingly satisfied with the answer. “Alright, after me.” he beckoned them to follow, flipping up his rangefinder as he ascended the stairs towards the city hall’s entrance.

A clone trooper takes inventory as cargo and salvage is unloaded from the RNS Dauntless.

“It’s much less than I’d hoped, but we’ll have to make do.” said Sloane, swiping through the manifest upon his handheld datapad.

“Look at it this way - it’s a good start.” replied another clone.

“Maybe we can get some bacta tanks running - or better yet, refreshers with plumbing.” said Thorne, curiously popping open the lid of one of the cargo containers, only to find what appeared to be a large collection of scrap metal and debris.

Sloane chuckled lightly, shaking his head, “Don’t get your hopes up. We still got much to do.”

“Of course.” replied Thorne absently, intent on rummaging through the collection of cargo, overturning much of the metal scrap, and giving it a cursory inspection. He held in his hand what appeared to be part of a bulkhead of a discarded starfighter.

“Found something you’re looking for?” called out Sloane, still tapping away at the datapad.

“Hell, no. It’s just a bunch of… junk.

“That junk is gonna come a long way towards our base.”

Right...” the clone rolled his eyes, moving on to see what the next container held in store.

Meanwhile, Sloane had picked up a transmission. He set down his datapad, and brought his wrist to his helmet, flicking on the communicator on his wrist. “It’s Blisk.”

“Better answer it.” scoffed Thorne.

Sloane didn’t reply, patching himself in to Blisk’s comm.

“Sloane. We have a new directive. Attre wants you to kickstart the ARC trooper project. He needs special forces - flexible and dependable type. You up to the task?”

“O-of course, sir.” stammered Sloane, taken aback.

“Good.”  said Blisk, allowing Sloane no time to think upon the proposal. “Five LAATs are inbound. One is for the ARC candidates. The other three are filled with the recruits from Arranoc. Fifth is additional troopers. You’re overseeing the training of this base’s troopers. Enjoy your promotion.”

“Not sure what to say, sir..”

“Don’t say anything. I’ll give you a full debrief later. Hey, you’re with Thorne, right? His objectives have been updated as well. Tell him for me, would ya? The Acclimator from the Arranoc mission is RTBing with what I believe to be all of our walkers. They’ll be of much better use here in the mountains than the hovertanks or the Juggernaut. Get them in forward defensive positions.”

“I’ll tell him.” said Sloane.

“No need, I have ears too.” called out Thorne, rifling through the contents of yet another crate, though obscured from view.

“And Thorne - mine the approaches towards Central Base. I want this area locked down. Motion sensors, artillery batteries, bunkers and pillboxes, you name it.”

“That can be arranged easily.” Thorne replied, carelessly tossing wreckage out from the crate and over his shoulder.

“Good. Then see to it. Blisk, out.”  concluded Blisk, the transmission ending there afterward.

“Looks like we got our work cut out for us.” Sloane sighed.

“Another day in the Grand Army of the Republic.”

ACTIONS

  • (Player) The 203rd Attack Battalion opens up communications with the 104th Battalion. Although wary of their intentions and authenticity, the 203rd displays interest in mutual assistance.

  • (Mod) Recruitment persists throughout the city of Arranoc. Several posters and flyers display slogans such as “Support the Boys in White” or “We March Forward for the Republic.” and portray clone troopers in a noble, heroic light. As well as for the army, recruitment is open for the Republic Navy.

  • (Mod) Clone Commander Attre enters talks with the local leader. He expresses interests in cooperating and also explains their plight to him and the splintered nature of Republic forces, other potential looming dangers, and states they’ll need their support financially to liberate Edichi. Attre asks if he has any information regarding the nearby city-states.

  • (Mod) Commander Attre and his retinue inquire with much of Edichi’s corporations, specifically those with presence in Arranoc. Though he briefly mentions a contract for a Venator, he mostly seems interested in expanding the starfighter fleet with a compliment of Alpha-3 Nimbus Class V-Wing starfighters.

  • (Mod) A platoon worth of clone troopers are selected as candidates for the revived ARC trooper program. The aim is to create a fast-response, flexible unit of special forces. Meanwhile, the 100 recruits also undergo standardized training.

  • (Mod) Construction of Central Base amidst the mountains of Edichi’s northern continent continues, burrowing deeper into the mountains. In addition, the clones dig themselves in, aiming to establish a fluid line of defenses in multiple layers. Artillery batteries, trenches, listening posts, and bunkers and mines.

The newest facility was built, a communications tower, there clones attempt to reach of the other any bands spread across the planet. Republic military frequencies are stressed upon.

General Lloyd stared blankly at the hologram depicting the structure upon receiving his intel report. A complex whose purpose is unknown. Who knows what mysteries it may hold ? Curiosity may have killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.

He cleared his through, looked briefly at his officers who waited for him to speak. They all sat gathered around his table unsure what to do.

“ Captain Matthews, collect your best men and take two gunships, I’m transmitting your coordinates. High level of caution is advised. Your mission is to identify the purpose of the structure and reap it of any items that may be of use to us. ”

“Aye sir, we won’t let you down, you can always count on us”

Clones being transported in a LAAT gunship

He dismissed his men, and he awaited for them to all leave. Then he began:

“ This is General Malric of the 82nd Dread Battalion of the Grand Republic Army,

I am here to offer you protection and shelter from the external threats roaming this planet. We believe that we can ensure a long and friendly relationship of mutual benefits.

About a year ago, we were assigned to the planet as a peacekeeping force to deter any Separatist threats, recently they have been carrying out a dreadful campaign, slaughtering innocents by the thousands. The intent ? To cripple any resistance that they may form against their occupation. Moreover, I have new intel about a lethal weapon the Separatists have been developing, its effects would be catastrophic, that is why I urge you to join us. Because we need you and you need us.”

They waited until midnight, under the cover of dark, they moved. 2 AV7s were positioned to the east, they overlooked it, there it was Phaross. They had found a perfect position, at just the right angle, they were able to fire without revealing their position.

Shortly after, a squad of speeders travelled to the north, headed for the settlement along the mountain range. To the south, another squad of AT RTs formed a diamond formation, they were travelling towards Phaross. On each of the squad commanders was a com link, carrying the message Malric had previously recorded.

“ Commander Bolt, come in”

“Yes general, I read you, the message was delivered as you ordered, we’ve also received the first batch of posters”

“Excellent, get to recruiting the locals here, I’ll be sending you more reinforcements”

A few hours later, three gunships dropped off a batch of ninety clones, two TX- 130 T tanks arrived to Phaross around the same time.

Imperial Legion

Turn 2:

“Sir,” Otto would say, “We have a transmission from the capital, it is re-establishing contact with all imperial battlegroups.”

“Patch them through.”

Taurus would speak with the capital, and unity between the three battlegroups would be established. After that, a storm trooper scout would come to him.

“We have reports of Mandalorians to the south commander.” he’d state.

“Oh? Mandalorians? They’re on Edichi as well- but more importantly why do you know why they’re so close to us?”

“Actually sir, they’ve approached us first and they’re sending a delegate here.”

“Well then, we shall welcome him in, inform me when he’s here.” Taurus would say leaving the control room. He would move over to his personal quarters, just walking back and forth, “Hm…” he’d mutter, “If looking on the surface does not yield results… Perhaps we should try- other avenues-” he’d be cut off by the sound of his personal squad entering his quarters, “Ah! Captain Sigma I have new orders for you…” he’d give him the orders(not posting to avoid meta).

Sigma would nod leaving the room. After talking to his personal squad, Taurus would return to the command center. “Otto,” he’d would calmly say, “You are to send scouts over to the mountains in the east and upwards to the north. We have Mandalorians to the south, I doubt anyone will mess with them.” he’d smile, backing up and letting Otto take the floor.

“Men,” he would begin, “We need to increase our might, if we are to maintain control of this planet, we must be in our strongest condition. Reach out to Titan Drive Yards and Monolith Drive Yards, secure us a partnership with them so that the Empire as a whole can benefit. We also need to begin collecting resources, and taxing to produce and income.” he’d raise a fist, “For the Empire!”

Actions:

  • Contact and unification between all Imperial groups has been established, (mod)

  • Welcome Mandalorians into the city. (mod)

  • Secret actions (mod)

  • Continue sending scouts to the mountains to the east, as well as begin scouting to the north of us. (mod)

  • Reach out to the drive companies along with the Imperial Loyalist Centre. (mod)

  • Begin light taxation of the populace, as well as taxes on imported goods. (mod)

  • Keep patrolling the streets and monitoring the flow of people in and out the city. (mod)

-In an attempt to legitimise their position, local elections are instigated, allowing local Edichi local powers over their own settlements. These councilors are forged into an advisory council to Admiral Simmerberg, who so effectively raised as Head of State and Government of this small nation. [MOD]

-Local military officials, especially lesser officers who have essentially turned warlord, are contacted in an attempt to convince them to join Imperial forces. These officers are offered promotions and status within the Imperial Navy. [MOD]

-Industrialisation continues, regardless of issue with speed. In an attempt to speed matters along, tax breaks and additional subsidies are offered to any company willing to comply with Imperial requests. [MOD]

-A guarantee of a pension is made for any man or woman who joins the Imperial Navy Troopers or the Stormtrooper Corps, even troopers killed in action will receive their pension, though paid to their families, obviously. This is part of a continued recruitment campaign. [MOD]

-Research facilities are constructed throughout Imperial territories, along with the establishment of universities and other such institutions of advanced learning, in an attempt to create a strong scientific base. [MOD]

-The Victory class Star Destroyer, plus 400 Stormtroopers, moves to the foothill city, demanding their submission. [MOD]

-An Imperial Mining Corps is established, and machinery is purchased for mining purposes. Once ready, the IMC is dispatched to the resource rich deposits to begin mining operations. [MOD]

-The establishment of industry capable of constructing fighters is initiated around LP-D, with the intention of creating a viable production line within 2 years. [MOD]

Dak Sentris

LP-A - Checkpoint Auresh - 1423 - Eighteenth Day - 8th Month

Dak unshouldered his bag and tossed is casually onto the growing pile besides him. All around him, people were streaming out of the shuttle and adding the pile. Heavy bags smashed onto it, and he could hear the occasional crunch as smaller ones were ground down to mulch beneath them. He made sure his bag was nice and deep into the pile, and that the rest star on top of it was clearly visible. Without looking back, he forced himself to make his was towards the checkpoint slowly, his hands in his pockets and a bored look plastered on his face. He’d done it a dozen times already, shifting identities and bags at nearly every city from east to west. He’d even had a inpromptu facial surgery midway, after a ridiculously close call.

He rubbed his jaw and stretched it slowly as he reached the checkpoint and rested his hands on the counter. The young woman behind the desk barely looked up at him, but the two stormtroopers standing at attention only half a dozen feet away did. Their blank, ghoulish masks seemed to fixate him with cruel intent and Dak barely refrained from clenching his hands into fists. These were the first actual troopers he’d seen this trip.

tw2.jpg

“Welcome to LP-A,” said the girl, glancing up at him boredly. “Name, job, reason for arrival.”

“Jut Fev, Trader, Trading. Here, have my ID,” he said with a warm smile, pulling it out of his pocket and stretching over the desk to hand it to her.

“Uh, thanks,” she muttered, taking it from his open palm. She paused for a moment after that, and Dak felt sweat gather on his brow like a dam ready to break. The Stormtroopers gaze felt ever more heavy, crsuhing his shoulders with an ironclad promise of pain. Then the girl shook herself and nodded crisply. “Of course, let me log you.”

Dak closed his hand around the red star tattooe’d on his palm and felt his body shaking ever so slightly beneath his thick layers of clothing. If she had been the wrong one… But no, she smiled at him, handed back the card and Dak walked past the troopers, who barely gave him a passing glance. He picked up his bag and then, he was free.

Suddenly, the oppressive weight seemed to lift from his shoulders and he exited into a wide open street, the tight checkpoint already fading from his memory as he looked around with wide eyes. He hadn’t been back to LP-A in years, not since he’d had problems with the families. It was different now, the streets were greyer, the building had new cracks running through them and the speeders darting above his head had a little more rust and a little less glamor. Even the people looked grimmer. Where once foodstalls had openly proclaimed their goods to smiling children in front of spaceport checkpoints, he could only see two stells, both held by burly men with suspicious looks on their stony faces and crowbars near at hand.

F2HIMQQ.jpg

Two stromtroopers walked by and gave him a look. “Move along, citizen,” one of them said. Dak bowed his head quickly, his unkempt hair falling in front of his features. He broke into a brisk walk, slowly falling into the pattern that those around him seemed to take. Head down, fast pace and no looking upwards. No looking at the inner city towers and the large imperial banners hanging from them like bloody corpses.

Asherba Eks Street, number 4585, Room 22, the closet. He recited the instructions in his head a few times as he made his way through the dreary crowd and down into the iron maw of the subway system. A stink emenated from them, as if something was rotting deep within the bowels of LP-A. No doubt a few corpses had found their way there, to mix with the human excrements of those too poor to even crawl out from within. The rich took speeders or ground travel, the poor took the subway in all its rusted, grimy and vicious glory. From what he’d heard, stromtroopers didn’t go here.

rpFWS.jpg

As soon as one of the vessels ground to a halt before him in a shower of sparks, he darted in and stood opposite the door, his gaze darting around the carriage. A drunkard or two, a dozen homeless and some people too poor to care about being robbed. Finally, he began to relax a little bit and the tension bled from his bones and out through his muscles. The hard part was done, now all he needed was to find his handlers data and start the job.

Actions

-The Guardians break up into cells. Each cell consists of roughly ten people, who live in a specific region and operate with little knowledge of those around them. All of them answer to a handler, who in turn is not known by more than anonymous droppoints and a codename to his operatives. He reports to a core Guardian member, who follows a similar system to avoid recognition. This core member takes care of a specific number of Handlers, and reports directly to the Guardians themselves.

-The Guardians break up into groups themselves, and begin roaming the great empty expanses of land around the globe, especially north, often pretending to be shepards, vagrants or others. They rarely stay anywhere for long and make no permanent bases. They communicate through apparently inane messages and coded language, or through physical means.

-Word is spread amongst the population that the Guardians are organizing a resistance to push back foreign invaders from Edichi. While no location is ever given, the bars of villages and cities are often visited by sympathetic people used as recruiters as well as operatives. (MOD)

-Moving constantly, and relying on sympathetic citizens for materials and aid, the Guardian’s core of scientists and researchers begin to work on fibres and jammers that disrupt or make places and people invisible to life scans, thermal imagery, etc etc. (MOD)

-Using their long tenure as Guardians of Edichi, the Guardians attempt to find sympathetic people in the cities and at all levels of the government or other businesses. They search for informants, people willing to look the other way when something needs to be slipped through a checkpoint, etc. In addition, they try to soak up as much information about the state of the planet as possible and those who remain on it. (MOD)

-About 40 operatives are sent east, to incorporate the various townships and cities along the way and spread the influence of the Guardians as handlers for cells. They use contacts and act inconspicuously. Traveling merchants, shepherds, etc. They use the chaos falling on the planet to act fast and find a place as refugees of the growing conflicts. The MAIN target cities are as follow: (MOD)

Clan Ordo

133c40f277bd43a8e4f7323dfff8ef99cc9f925b

Dodging to the left a Mandalorian in dark green and blue colored armor quickly missed an iron staff thrust that had been aimed for his abdomen and center of mass. He made use of this oppertunity to take grasp of one of his opponent’s staffs and using it to block another staff coming for Yunnan. He then proceeded to roll to the side as his oppponent had regained control of his staff. But with the oppertunity he had managed to escape the circle of three Mandalorians that surrounded him.

Quickly sending glances around his opponents in front of him Yunan carefully considered the situation. As of right now he was outnumbered, he either needed to take his enemy by surprise or take them out slowly, one by one. Yunan decided that he would use the former option. Deciding that surprise was needed if he wanted to win the fight quickly. Considering that his opponents would in total have more stamina than him and, if they so desired, could quickly exhaust him. Thus Yunan quickly ran forward, getting in range of his opponent’s metal staffs but then getting too close to the opponent on his left for him to effectively used it. His opponent dropped it to engage in hand-hand combat but it was already too late. Yunan threw his opponent over his shoulder and incapacitated him for the remainder of the battle. He then proceeded to almost (though not completely) grasp the still falling metal staff and threw it at the opponent farthest back from him. Temporarily keeping her occupied for a second so as to dodge it. Yunan made use of this oppertunity to roll under the now incoming attack of his other opponent and kick his legs out from under him.

Yunan then once more picked up a metal staff and then proceeded to in a quick flurry of strikes disarm his last opponent and with a jab at the jaw throw her to the ground. Yunan then extended a hand to his fallen opponent who gratefully took it, muttering. “You Adden Al verde (mercilles leader)” To which Yunnan let out a laugh. ”A Mando must not show mercy to his opponent. So neiher must I.” Though said good-naturedly there was a harsh layer of honesty in Yunnan’s words.

Yunnan then turned to a Mandalorian who stood at the side. Doing a few stretches to make sure his muscles did not strain and asked the Mandalorian to the side. Known as Mardak, who was the unofficial secretary of Yunnan. Or as much as a secretary you could get to in Mandalorian culture. ”So Mardak, what does the report say.” Mardak dutifully explained in short what was in the report. “Things are progressing mostly as planned. As you might like to know, the shield generator was checked and no signs of sabotage have been found. On top of that some minor aircraft factories are being set up at Treibian and should be ready for production at the end of the year.” Yunnan carefully considered this information. He might have been a little paranoid but like a Mandalorian saying went ‘Better paranoid than dead’, or that might just have been a saying his father had.

Yunnan’s thought process then went to the fighter factories that were mentioned. With the factories bieng set up at Treibian they would never have a shortage of kom’rk. However, Yunnan also knew that the Kom’rk was not exactly what he needed. Whilst it acted sufficiently as a fighter/transport, it was not a fighter. It was designed to funtion in raids but not for real dogfighting. With Clan Ordo being stuck on this planet and becoming a more physical faction they needed to have a more dedicated fighter corps as well.

Yunnan then cut his musing ans spoke to Mardak.
”Mardak, see if you can get the techies to possibly develop a more dedicated fighter. Considering the kom’rk sucks at dogfighting, try to see if you can get Tarro at 10:00 to further discuss. this in detail. Also, send five men under Daggor to Andwell. We need information on the local enviroment for the future. Send him to the headquarters at 11:00 for a more dedicated briefing. ” Yunnan then seemed to think for a moment. ”Also send Voll and Valen to the headquarters at 12:00. I need to discuss with them the need to fortify the base further, send some men to those Imperials to teach them a thing or two and to aid those Eidichi in setting up a proper quality factories.” Mardak nodded. Quickly tapping at his datapad.

Yunnan then let out a sigh. If only his job as commander was to do battle. It would make things easier. But no, rather than doing combat he needed to almost always have meeting. But that was the duty of a leader. And if he did not do it then it was possible ‘the artifact’ would never be found. If it did exist and not found it would be a shame on the clan that he could not erase. Yunnan then shook his head and went off to the headquarters for more meetings. Maybe he could fly a little with Masero later that day.

Actions

-Men are sent to the city of Andwell so as to aquire information on the local factions as well as their strength. On top of that they are to probe the integrity and influence of the local faction/crime syndicates if possible.

-The techy Mandalorians and Engineers (and Eidichi scientists if willng) are ordered to, if possible, create a new variant of the current Mandalorian fighters. Making it more of a fighter and less of a transport. With the focus being on using the standard Mandalorian design whilst also incorperating Eidichi tech so as to make it more easy to be locally produced. The goal of this figher is to have more speed, maneuverability and a little more firepower than the standard kom’rk fighters.

-At Treiban some of the Mandalorians would aid in setting up the light aircraft ‘factories’ and making sure the quality of the fighters remained good.

-The other Mandalorians who aren’t busy with these tasks or busy patrolling are ordered to further fortify the base. Slowly starting to create a ‘fotress’ in which Clan Ordo was safe from other threats.

-five Mandalorians are sent to the Imperial loyalist centres to take part in the SCAR program and train several stormtroopers.

(Later Months)

______________________________

Another sunny day in the void

The Final Holdout

The Edichi in prosperity rather reluctantly pay their taxes. The recruitment drive is rather unsuccessful. “Why would the Separatists need need to recruit organics when they’ve already taken our money for droids?”

The training of the officers goes rather well, after being subject to a several month long instructional course they are ready for action. However all but a few of the officers lack actual battlefield experience let alone experience with a robotic army.

(+80 Officers)

Production is shifted to exclusively B2 battle droids. Supplemented by Edichi funds and material it begins with haste. Though the separatists soon figure out much of the factories machinery is in dire need of repair or replacement. Nonetheless a small portion of the requisitioned units are produced.

(+60 B2 Battledroids)

The nearby city flat out rejects the Separatists terms. Scouting runs indicate this city is much better armed and much more militaristic.

Mining operations are attempted though no large ships are available to transport large amounts of material. The operation is largely considered a failure.

Imperial Loyalist Centre

The hearts and mind program meets limited success. The locals are rather hesitant to trust Imperial Propaganda much less join the armed forces. Still, some decide to sign up.

(+200 raw recruits)

Taxation of the two cities begins, public lashback is large to say the least. Both the people and the Local government protest this action.

The SCAR program is launched, though there seems to be quite the scarcity of adequate candidates.

(+30 SCAR recruits)

Both Titan and Monolith Drive Yards decline the offer to work for the Imperials, Onega, initially accepting soon follows suit and backs out of the deal.

The task force sent to subdue the northern city is forced to retreat. A rather large Local ground defence force and star fighter core staunchly refuses. The city will not be won without blood.

Beasts of Zillo

The mission has an… unexpected outcome (Event 1)

Attempts to organize the pirates sees little success

No opportunities for crime seem available

Several contacts have been established in the black market (PMS)

Clan Odall

No companies seem willing to do business with clan Odall

Efforts to improve relations with the locals meet some success. They don’t want the mandalorians dead as much as they did before.

Warehouses are scavenged, one of the men report a curious find (PMs)

Improvement of the bases defenses continue as planned. As the year concludes the camp is much more operable than before, most of the men believe the fortifications are sufficient.

203rd Attack Battalion

Recruitment drives continue, it begins to pick up some steam, though the population is still not particularly motivated to join the G.A.R.

(+100 Raw Recruits)

The local leader is eager to talk with Attre, he seems to be very pro-republic as opposed to CIS or Imperial leaning. He explains the rather militarized nature of the surrounding cities as well as their previously CIS leaning behaviors.

A local branch of Ethos manufacturing sympathetic to the Battalion’s cause shows interest in a contract to produce fighters, however they won't do it for free.

Standardized training and the ARC trooper programs begin, success is limited in both fields due to the lack of proper instructors. However potential in the ARC program especially is great.

The construction of the mountain headquarters continues, as the year finishes several defensive lines fitted with a multitude of defensive measures is completed. Burrowing deeper into the mountain however is a different story, still lacking heavy equipment, many of the facilities are temporarily built in above ground structures.

82nd Dread Battalion

30 clones is nowhere near enough to forcibly occupy the settlement, especially not after recent events. They’re forced to return to base

Communications go through

The ‘Compound’ seems to be a very old military facility, nothing of particular value is found, perhaps it will require more investigation

There is outrage at the bombardment of Phaross, local fighters scramble as it rages on. Though its not known for sure who was responsible there’s a good chance the locals suspect the Clones. On a side note, many clone troopers protest the action feeling it violates their original mission.

Mining operations continue un-opposed.

Imperial Legion

Drive companies, politely refuse to request to work with the legion

Taxation begins, the heavy military presences brings local unrest to a minimum

The scouts report nothing of note, except for that Phaross is pissed off, but at who?

The Edichi Task Force

Local elections begin, public feedback is rather good, but overall opinion of the Imperials still remains indifferent to unsavory.

Industrialization programs continue, no major company shows any interest in voluntarily working for the Imperials. Perhaps they will have to be persauded?

The recruitment drive picks up some steam, nothing significant however. Pensions do prompt many to join, but it certainly isnt out of love for the Empire.

(+200 recruits)

The foothill city remains un moving, they will not surrender. They threaten to make the incident international should the Imperials continue to demand their surrender. Reports from the Victory class cruiser suggest roughly 4500 staunch defenders hold the city. They have established the beginnings of a defensive network in addition to several heavy gun batteries.

Mining equipment is purchased, however the IMC is unable to head to the deposits due to the hostility in the region.

A production line for TIE fighters is drawn up, estimates suggest that within a year it will be operational and producing fighters.

Guardians of the Voice

Rumors begin to circulate across Edichi of the Guardian’s resurgence. Many seem very pleased/excited upon hearing this news. For too long Edichi has been run by foreign and autocratic powers.

Though not much progress for a jammer is made, it seems very likely that the rather large black market in Andwell would sell such devices.

The recruitment of informats and sympathetic peoples begins. Though no notable connections with any levels of government are established. A rather large and very unreliable web of informats slowly begins to take shape across Edichi

The Guardian’s influence slowly begins to creep into the designated cities, unbeknownst to the governments. Though nothing more than a handful of informats and loyalists for now.

104th Battalion

Mining equipment is purchased, however the meager funds are beginning to run short there will certainly be no large purchases in the future.

A line of communication with the city is opened up

The defenses around the camp are shored up, the Clone battalion continues its efforts to dig in.

Multiple buildingspots within the base are suitable for larger industry, however the trees and megafauna will have to be cleared.

Contact is made with the company, however funds are severely lacking, they will have to be bartered with. Or perhaps convinced.

Clan Ordo (best for last???)

The men are sent off to Andwell, they come back with some interesting news regarding the local criminal syndicates (PMs)

Designs for a possible variant of the standard FIghter/Transport begin, several Edichi scientists are eager to lend their efforts on the condition the fighter would be the first craft to implement their new experimental shielding system.

More small facilities are set up to help in the production of aircraft. As the year concludes 3 new fighters are ready, however their quality in relation to the standard fighters are questionable

(+3 Ersatz Kom’rk Class fighers)

Fortification efforts of the main base continue

The mandalorians are dispatched to work with the Loyalist Centre on the SCAR program.

The First Division

(Imperial Battlegroup 1)

Xeir Kyn would pace the bridge of the Last Victory Star Destroyer controlled by the First Division.

“Send a static transmission to Titan Drive Yards and Onega Industries, Offering a Trade of Funds and Labor in Exchange for help with the stabilization of the Division.” Xeir would simply point out a random bridge officer to ensure this task was done without revealing their location and to make sure his name and the First Division were the only names to appear in the request

Xeir and the 3 other captains that supported him in their retreat were now stranded without a stable source of supplies to feed his men let alone survive long enough to return to the main world here.

“Keep the fleet in a defensive position……” he would explain the formation to his few captains and send them off.

WIth the luxury of constant Republic Military communication, Malric decides its best for the clone remnants to regroup and concentrate their forces rather than spread out and disperse. Necessary arrangements have been made, the base of operations dismantled , vehicles, artillery, aircraft all docked, and accordingly loaded into the star ships. Their destination, just south of the 104th Battalion at Andwell. The escorting force:

1 venator star destroyer, an arquitens light cruiser, and a squadron of 12 ARC fighters for forward reconnaissance. They will be flying at a high altitude in order to minimize the chance of being intercepted by hostiles.

Clan Odall

Dral Odall hears back from his men that none of the companies in any city will work with them, but that the people of each city like them slightly more. Though the news was slightly good it still bothered Dral. He calls some lieutenants “Continue improving relations with the people, and tell our men stationed in the cities to start helping out people around the city. Maybe that way we can gain favour faster.” Dral emphasises before hanging up. Dral then writes a letter that he will send copies of to every business that is known by the Mandalorians.

Dear Edichi business’s,

My name is Dral Odall, leader of Clan Odall. I am told that none of you wish to do business with us? What a shame. But I am writing this to try and fix that. I know our reputation isn’t high right now though someday that will change. I am hoping that I can ease any tensions there might be by telling you that we do not want to be seen as overlords, or bad people. We are here, trying to work WITH you and your local governments. We do not want anything more than to be friendly to everyone and work together and do great things. My Organization has a lot of money. And please just consider your business’s. Would they greatly benefit from donations? Cheaper supplies? More workers? These are things that can be done to help you. In return all we would want is to develop together. My organization needs guns, more armor,  and ships. And we are willing to help you produce more of those things. Together we could do great things. We could develop new tech, more advanced ships, more cost effective parts for guns, as well as new defense tech. All of this would give you a big edge against your competition, save you money, and of course we would become a big buyer from you. So you would be making consistent cash. Your companies would remain completely free to do what they want, sell to whoever you want. We would just be another business partner. Please take some time to consider my offer. I very much hope at least some of you will take up my offer. Regardless though I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Cordially,

Dral Odall

In other news a vessel is sent across the sea to a set of seemingly ‘uninhabited Islands’ to try and make contact with anyone who may be in that area. One day Dral is given a message by one of the men investigating some warehouses within the cities. He urges him to come down and see something interesting so he makes his way to the warehouse and after walking through many of the corridors and rooms filled with random stuff he finds a hanger door opened and inside one of his men shows him something even Dral recognized instantly.. It was a ship! But not just any ship. It was a Gladiator- Class Mandalorian Assault fighter.

“What the hell is this thing doing all the way out here!?!” Dral exclaimed excitedly. “Who knows, but the good news is she can still be saved. She’s old and unused for awhile but with a few repairs and upgraded our engineers could have her in working order in a few months.” one of his officers explained to Dral. “This.. this is fantastic.. I’ve always heard of these things back on Mandalore and wanted to fly one since I was a kid, Can I have her or do you want her since you found her first?” asks Dral with a look you’d expect from a child seeing the toy he’s wanted. “Well I’m not really much of a pilot myself sir, and I figure from the look on your face if I said no I’d be out of a job.” the officer says jokingly. “ Good man. Thank you very much but no maybe I wouldn’t fire you, I might just have demoted you and taken the ship for myself. Dral says while laughing. “I’ll get the ship sent in for repairs and upgrades right away sir.” - Dral interjects “ Kid you’ve officially got on my good side, Call me Dral. But what is your name?”  “My name is Ivor Suahl.” Ivor tells him “Well Ivor It has been a pleasure officially meeting you. As I said I like you kid, if you ever need anything let me know and I’ll see what i can do.” Dral replies. The two continue to talk for a moment more before Ivor has to go and Dral continues to look through the warehouse hanger with the ship.

He also finds what he assumes was the previous owner of the ship’s Mandalorian armor. It certainly looks old, but usable. Also found around the warehouse was a random assortment of blasters including: two CR-2 Heavy Blaster Pistols, two WESTAR-35 blaster pistols, one of which had a broken stun setting switch found in a locker along with the armor, a T-21 Rifle, a T-21B variant, an  two EE-3’s, and a small crate of DL-18’s of which are found commonly within the outer rim. And finally four A280 Blaster Rifles. After putting all these weapons on board a transport ship he gave one last glance around some of the warehouse and let some of his nearby men in the area know he had cleared out whatever they hadn't taken earlier and then left back to their main base.  Where the storage of the equipment would be finalized.
