The Annex of Elder’seal

 

After a lengthy meeting held within the palace in Avalain, the discussion between the Huntsman Valor Bell and His Majesty, King Wilhelm an agreement was reached.

 

Due to the non militant and international nature of the monster hunting division of the Curonian Royal Army, commonly known as the Huntsman, the King of Curonia finds it to be within his interest to sever their affiliation with the Royal Army, such that they may more effectively defend the descendants from the dark beasts and creatures across Arcas. The Huntsman shall operate as an independent guild within the Kingdom of Curon, according to the following terms:

1. The King of Curonia shall not interfere with the policy, leadership, and activities of the Huntsman, so long as;

   1. The Huntsman do everything within their power to protect the Kingdom of Curonia and its subjects from monsters and beasts.

   2. The Huntsman abides by the Curonian law and courts while within the Kingdom.

   3. The Huntsman take no action (or inaction) to cause harm to the King and Kingdom of Curonia, whether that action be militant, diplomatic, economic, or in any other form

2. The King of Curonia shall support and sponsor the headquarters of the Huntsman by providing them with land within the Kingdom of Curonia.

3. The King of Curonia may aid the Huntsman in their quests within the Kingdom of Curonia, dedicating available resources and men upon their request.

4. The King of Curonia shall defend and preserve the Huntsman from threat, whether the threat is founded in magic, monsters, or the descendants.

5. The Huntsman shall attain no land or guildhouses outside the Kingdom of Curonia unless the King grants explicit permission for their establishment.

6. The Huntsman shall keep their headquarters in the Kingdom of Curonia

7. The Huntsman shall sign no military pacts, treaties, or diplomatic articles of any nature with other nations or establishments outside the Kingdom of Curonia.

8. The Huntsman shall sign and enforce no trade agreements without the permission of the King of Curonia.

9. Members of the Huntsman shall under no circumstance act directly or indirectly against the King and Kingdom of Curonia, whether that action is militant or otherwise.

10. The Huntsman shall be considered citizens of Curonia, retaining equal rights and protections within the Kingdom.

11. Upon the signing of this document, all members of the Huntsmen are free to transfer out of the Royal Army, retaining their status as Huntsmen.

12. The Huntsman shall be reinstated and recognized by the King of Curonia as an independently administered guild within the Kingdom.
