The surface vehicle rolled nearly silently across the well maintained roads of Homeworld’s countryside. Vast forests covered much of the landscape, teeming with life and activity. The transport occasionally stopped as a wildlife crossed the ancient causeways. A servitor unit here and there dotted the stretches of highways and forests, carrying out their functions as usual, their white-gray casings gleaming in the mid morning sun. Finally, the transport arrives as the facility, The wheels lock and the cargo door effortlessly lowered to the surface. The units slowly begun to fan out, meticulously scanning the derelict structure for the cause of the irregularity. Slowly, but surely, the party made its way through the monolithic structure; until finally.. It was found. A previously unknown cache of datacores, cut off from the primary network by forces of nature had inexplicably come online. There was much previously unknown of the Remnant to now be explored...

Mod Actions:

-Continued observation of ‘Leviathan’ Specimen#001, nature of previously observed ‘Solar Leaves’ possibility to replicate such a feature? perhaps a way to corral ‘Leviathan’ Specimen#001 into a specific area of space?

-Development begins on Wormhole tech based around orbital facilities, system platforms, or perhaps even ships themselves!?
-Given that defensive armament and capabilities are deemed ‘insufficient’ protocols to reduce the Remnant’s footprint are authorized. Radio signals and other forms of inter-planetary communication as well as travel are reduced.

“Wiped out three years ago, their planet is nothing more then barren rock and radiation.” A cough and grunt came from across the table. “Our teams even brought back bodies with bullet holes in their heads, executed above their homeworld.” the room’s very air gave off tense emotions and a great deal of fear.

“They could still be out there and we just transmitted hundreds of messages back to here!” the shout came from General Vromm, the newly instated leader of the first corps. “I agree gentlemen, trust me I do.” the president spoke for the second time of the meeting. “Our fleet is meager and our army quite small, we are in no position to hunt down and attack whoever did this first.”

A hologram appeared at the center of the table, the planet of Leon’s belt and a single green dot showing a destroyer over it with a few dots around the planet revealing military bases. “The Infrastructure we do have is not enough to sustain any sort of construction of warships if we are attacked. I propose we expand Leon belt to sustain a constant production of materials fit enough to make a large fleet every year.”

All of the men nodded slowly after some more discussion and it was decided, the nation would grow the opposite way.

“The radiation is off the charts down there…” Alpha team’s captain said as him and his men floated through vacuum towards the derelict station. Two more teams of men floated gently behind them all under the cover of two smaller vessels that had brought them here. Their white hulls painted with blue markings, most of it was engine and antenna usually but for this they brought massive cargo-holds. ”Alpha be advised, we assume the planet below had been attacked. Nuclear attacks are the culprit here but with the sheer quantity involved… expect some form of contact on that station.”

Sweat beads formed on the captain’s face as he looked upon the damaged construct ahead, blinking lights and riddled with holes and ripped open chunks. It reminded him of the classic aliens movies back in the day, a thought he fought to keep at the back of his mind…

Alpha’s corporal gripped the station’s exterior to peek his head in, looking both ways the soldier slipped into the open gap. “It’s clear… dark but clear.” It was the captain’s turn now whom glided right in behind him. One light came from his helmet and his fellow marines and that was it, blood had been splattered all over the walls and much of it floated around like crystals. The man immediately reported it before motioning to the rest of his team to follow in.

“The scientist can come in but keep them behind us.” Every hallway the men had came across was either black or had blinking alert lights, there was no place to grab on giving the science teams there the notion this had artificial gravity somewhere. Discussion erupted between the geeks before a nearby marine snapped at them, “Three more rooms than you can speak!”

“Holy **** is that a bullet… Captain Bigolow come see this!” After kicking himself off the wall he glided into the next room and much to his surprise the round of one of his marines chest, it was contorted into a large ball after wiping out a chunk of the station. “Get the POGs on that, Bolton go clear the adjacent room.”

A quick nod from the man nearest to the other room was followed by him poking his rifle through the door then slipping in gently, his shaky voice warned them to come in. Bigolow went first… the first ever alien contact in human history had been achieved. Multiple corpses floated through the room, a singular one hunched over a console. All of them had holes in their heads, their faces in pure shock… gruesome first contact.

They weren’t alone, whatever was out there wasn’t friendly and if they didn’t prepare they would be next.

[!] Along the three already established colonies the garrisons that had been assigned began training, setting up bases and outpost and establishing plans in the event nuclear attacks would take place. All of this was quick and hastily, the public eye being kept away on Leon Belt’s fine construction.

Grand Empire

They say that far from the capital world of Lev’arum, the Grand Empire’s new colony undertakes a massive new project, wholly dissimilar from that of their sister colonies of Ium and Ers. “A military undertaking never before seen,” whispers the undercurrents of the Imperial Heart in their back rooms and shadowed councils. “To finally wipe out the insurgent rebels once and for all.”

Perhaps those insurgent rebels had caught wind of such an event, for even as Ers’ infrastructure project is completed and Ium’s goes underway, the city of Pollon Tri on Ers is overtaken by cult forces at the end of the 9th rotation. An ancient enemy of the Empire, potentially reborn, and the Empress keen to end it before the situation spirals out of control. Frantically, the Foundation Militant builds dozens, nay, hundreds of fortifications across the sector, locking the planet down, even as the cultists declare their Resurgent Er Empire. A true war has broken out once more in the fragmented states of the Da’nor.

Flag of the Quercus

The stars waltzed around the galactic core, their many lesser partners swinging around their suns. Out in the ‘North West’ arm of the galaxy, one could find the Quorum, their scurrying for interstellar ambitions keeping them busy.

The office was awash with a flurry of activity, board after board of cellulose was being filled with lines and lines of mathematics. The four adaptaar were conversing rapidly using their psionics, the formulation and debate occurring as quick as they could think.

”More!” a cry went out to the under-researcher, but they were already prepared, when they wheeled another board in, numbered in the corner. The leading Adaptaar scribbled the last on the board as one of the colleagues stood, proceeding to continue the equations to the next board.

Meanwhile, the sensor division of research on Olea had made leaps and bounds. Macro-sizing the new sensors that had been produced for the exploration ships was proceeding leaps and bounds.

”Move it more to the left!

Left! and ease it in.... Yes!”

Scaba looked at the prototype aboard the small ship, ready to test this new long range sensor.

Further scurrying was made on the launch pad, a vessel being loaded with construction materials.

It soared through the atmosphere, docking with the minor spaceport. The skilled workers, clustered around the large skeleton of a ship, chatted to the closest Adaptaar near them, operating a daisy chain to converse instructions and reports on how their work was going. Further the work was done on the new colony ship.

The gun runner grunted, moving the shipment to the drop off. As they left the items there, they scurried off through the undergrowth.

The planet thrummed with energy, as psionic calls and responses were thrown out in the festival. The Archon nodded to the Mind Bender,

”It goes well yes?”

”Indeed, but we’ve had reports of malcontent.”

”Indeed?”

”Yes.”

The Archon’s visage darkened, “Step up surveillance on them then.”

The Mind Bender nodded, storing the tidbit away in their head to enact when the time permitted.

H’wong Nation

The plotted expansion of the H’wong Nation’s space ambition continues. Even now their Light Cruiser is escorting a colony ship to the frontier. In desperate need of finance, this colony was high stakes. With a full naval and army compliment, it’s as safe an operation as they can manage. Also under the umbrella of the Capital’s Fort, hopes were high. As the colonist disembark, work begins at once to ready the colony for true profit margins.

At home increasingly more complex laser technology is developing. Generals are having a grand time trying out the new weapons to a mass of soilders and cameras. Looped across the Nation, it is a great source of pride. And there were far more steps needed to be taken. The Navy science branch is officially scaled back as the scientist are needed elsewhere. To coincide with the new Colony, improved Civil Infrastructure is promised. That alongside development of hand held lasers  was sapping the Hive of any excess research power.

With the Light Cruiser completed, it marks the start of a new era. One of Naval projection, but in space. More and more cadets enlist, and volunteers flood army centers. With so many willing candidates, the one issue was resources and cash. But with a growing pile of excess, more liberties are to be taken. While the army plays games with their lasers, the Naval Admirals hold office in their orbital fort. If the Army would demand research, the Navy would begin to tap into the H’wong growing stockpile of raw materials and other goods.

Republic of Korinth

(New flag is very much still under construction.)

Current President of the Republic: Leo Rieter

With the creation of the FTL prototypes, morale is high among all scientists working on research projects. Many have even come forward with some decent ideas, but the one that caught the attention of government investors was that of ship engines. It made perfect sense for better engines on ships that now had FTL. Eventually a deal was struck between the two parties and work was scheduled to begin as soon as possible. With the FTLs a finishing touch is to be added ensuring they would be fully functioning and producible. Besides research news, nothing else of note happens in the Republic.

Redon Empire
Age of Expansion
126 REU, 2206

“All modifications are complete, Captain the ship ready.” A younger redon technician spoke “Good work, you may depart.” he would turn to the others “Diagnostics?” he’d asked, replied by his multiple other crewmen that everything was good to go.

“This is Captain Rydir of Farsight One, we are ready for deployment and exploration with the new warp drives. Farsight two, three, four good luck. Red Dar Imperiad!”

“Red Dar Imperiad!” They would reply, the four vessels leaving the homeworld once again utilizing the new warp technology. A gift granted by the galaxy...perhaps?

The Republic of Tassarea

7ce9ac57872537.59e720544c7ad.jpg

Much had changed last year. Much had changed since a lone ship entered the atmosphere of Tassarea and revealed something to the people of the humble civilization. Extra-terrestial life existed.

This had awakened many things in the Tassarean people. An adventurous spirit, a new drive to explore the unkown and discover what secrets it held. A dream of a glorious future. Yet … With the the appearence of extra-terrestial life fear also arose amongst some Tassareans. These new aliens might be friendly to them but what said that other aliens would be the same ? What said that there were not some horrible monsters amongst the stars, or great conquerors.

These were the thougths that plagued the minds of many Tassareans. Yet it worried Dr. Bernhard of the institute of biology more than most. As a man of science he knew the potential that was held amongst living beings but also the dangers. He had learned of the Rixian plague, the orange fever and all other diseases that happened when two foreign peoples met. And that was with Tassareans. Who knew what diseases could be spread now-a-days. Sure a cure could be found easily enough with modern technology but in the meantime a great threat was still clear. In any case, he put his mind to rest. He had more important things to focus on. Like analyzing the, what had been termed ‘Protorian’, DNA that had become in possesion of the Institute.

When he entered the Institute he went to the main room where a large projection of the DNA strand was shown on a hole-screen. Next to it stood the Senior Researcher of the institute, Dr. Ford. He seemed to be fully focused on the image of the strand shown before him. His grey hair seeming to somehow frizzle with excitement. As Ford’s gaze pierced into the projection, as well as looking at smaller screens that showed specific data regarding to certain aspects of the Protorian body.

Even with his back turned on Bernard and with his age Ford somehow still heard Bernard approach. As he did so Ford spoke. “Absolutely fascinating is it not ?” Bernard, nodded in agreement. “Indeed, though there is one thing I can’t explain.” Ford gave a cryptic smile to Bernard. “I see you saw it too. The greatest mystery of the Protorians are the lack of mysteries. Their biology is nearly identical to ours. Down to our dna. The main difference that is clear to us is the Melanin levels of our new friends. There are some minor mutations as well, derived from surviving on their planet. Yet, the baseline is the same. These Protorians are made with the same template as us.” Bernard nodded at this. “It is indeed highly unsual. I have run additional diagnostics and have come to the same conclusion. From biometric scans and some research they also appear to have the exact same organs as us. As well as other biological functions. This is too similair to be the work of mere natural-evolution.” Ford gave a small nod at what Bernard said. “Indeed, the chance of this is fairly unlikely. Which leads us to another question, one that we have tried to answer since the start of time.” Ford then stared into Bernard’s eyes. With Bernard feeling as if he was being stared into the very depths of his soul.

Does god exist ?”

Actions

In order to secure a buffer for the capital of Tassarea and to generate more funding a sector Eastwards of Tassarea is colonized by the Colony ship built last year. Which will in the future be used to generate additional funds. (expeanding east)

I With the introduction of the Protorians sentient life is now a fact. Which has awakened a great urge for exploration inside of the Tassarean people. Combined with the recent discovery of warp drives Space exploration has now been made viable and as such an exploration ship is built. (1M)

Forseeing a big investment next year on the colony which will, hopefully, by then be established this year government funding is kept in the treasury. In order to prepare for a larger project. [55,5k C]

More time and effort is put into improving the lab equipment of Tassarean Researchers. [12R on T1 Research facilities]

UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST PLANETARY REPUBLICS

“I am pleased to report, Comrade Loginovsky, that industrialization is going fully according to the Five Year Plan in the Chernogorod Sector. We expect to have a series of reactors, factories, and other such centers of production, in full production this year. Our new fusion reactor, at Chernobyl, is a particularly significant achievement an-” the bored drone of Loginovsky’s voice rose over the words of the speaker, the Minister for Industry and Energy. “Yes yes, that will do, Comrade Shcherbina, I am sure we could all do with a point by point run down of you industrial development plan, but I do not plan to sleep for several hours yet!” Around the room there were sniggers from the other ministers, Loginovsky’s sycophants. Shcherbina bristled, openly angry, but managed to control himself. “Very well, Comrade General-Secretary. I shall be sure to include that in my report to the Central Committee.” Loginovsky gawked and leaped to his feet, his fat face a contorted mass of fury, near purple in his rage. He slammed his ham-fists down on the table. “So the Central Committee now openly admits to spying on me? Comrade Ulyanov, I suggest you summon some of your men and have Comrade Shcherbina interned!”

Ulyanov, an older man with inch thick glasses and snow white hair, glanced up from his notes. “I cannot do that, Comrade General-Secretary.” He looked back down, as if that was the end of it, while Loginovsky choked in shock. “Y-you cannot?” Ulyanov shook his head, setting down his pen and looking squarely at the Premier of the USSPR. “No, Comrade Loginovsky, I cannot. You see, it was my idea. The KSG believes it to be well within state interests to have the Council of Ministers audited – audited by a Minister no less. You see, it was for this purpose that we had the Central Committee intervene and use their powers to appoint Comrade Shcherbina – your administration has resulted in industrial stagnation and simony within the Apparatus of the State – this must be dealt with.” And with that, the normally little spoken First Deputy Chairman of the KSG picked up his pen and resumed his note taking, while Loginovsky sank back into his chair, shaken.

The General-Secretary, usually a man of such unfounded confidence, now looked out of place, small even, in this opulent room. The long, polished and carved mahogany table, the gilded door frames, the solid hard wood doors. All of it seemed to crash down upon him, the ostentatious wallpaper, the rich carpets, even the chairs with their red leather upholstery, carved legs and stunning headrests. Loginovsky looked a man lost, horrified at his own failures now that they had finally caught up with him. He sat silently, understanding – even as Shcherbina did – that the Minister of Industry was now the General-Secretary of the Union of Soviet Socialist Interplanetary Republics in all but name. Shcherbina, a tall and thin man in his mid fifties, with a shock of graying brown hair and a face of stone, fastened his suit jacket and stood up. “I believe that will be all for today, Comrade Ministers. Meeting adjourned.” With sure hands, he gently tapped his sheath of papers on the table to straighten them, before placing them in a brief case and beginning his exit. He was followed by Ulyanov, and a dozen other ministers who now realized that the balance of power had turned, and abandoned their previous allegiances in a flash. Behind them, as he was slowly left alone, Loginovsky began to cry.

Every broadcast station across the Union had shone bright with the headlines.

“Antebellum Corporation CEO and Union Council Member, Magnus Conditor, presumed dead in catastrophic shuttle accident”

The nation was overtaken with grief, whether it was for the loss of several thousand souls on board or the passing of the man who had risen the Union from the ashes of Terra and now to the stars. Billions of lives saved off the actions of one man who had decided to act rather than to sit around and wait for the opinions of congressmen or council members. A man who had found himself on the mentality of the betterment of the human race after nearly mass extinction on their homeworld.

Countless ceremonies were held across the capital world, and more through the several colonized sectors of the Union as word of Magnus’ passing had spread through nearly every media outlet within the Union. Days of mourning passed with little work to be done within the public sectors of the Union. Not a soul dared to believe what had happened, though it had. Magnus Conditor, the founder of both Antebellum Corp. and The Union of Mann, was dead.

Magnus had insisted to his long-time friend Sophos to come along on his trip to the outer sectors of the Union, a betterment to both of their reputations in places other than the capital of the Union. Though strangely enough, his friend had declined, something Magnus had found was almost common now for his friend to not leave the capital, let alone the city of Vilgius for extended periods of time. Though this was for another reason entirely. Magnus was soon to be informed of why.

He arrived at Vilgius Starport early in the morning, though did not depart until long after the sun had peaked high above in the sky near noon. The shuttle which had already flown several dozen flights within the Primus sector was to be the medium of transportation for the councilman, though it was also to be the last voyage for the vessel. As the clock struck noon local time for Vilgius, the engines of the shuttle screeched to life. And Magnus drifted off to cryogenic unconsciousness.

It wasn’t mid-flight when disaster struck, but rather early on in the voyage. A large majority of the engine section of the vessel was lost as it broke the atmosphere above Vilgius and began to spew flames from the rear of the vessel. A failsafe that put the ship under an emergency lockdown sounded and the cryo-pods snapped open, ripping Magnus from his cryosleep and pulled him back into reality.

He couldn’t find his bearings for a time, though the stream of bodies rushing down the hall towards the evacuation chambers pulled him back to focus on what he had to do. He knew something was wrong, and he knew he had to flee. His body flung itself into one of the single-occupant escape pods, one of several hundred on the vessel with him knowing little of what was occurring around him. Magnus peered out the lone window on the front of the pod, only for his vision to be blinded by a series of fireballs which faded to darkness.

Magnus awoke not within his pod, though rather in a blank reality. One of blinding white lights and utmost silence. Not a single sound emitted from around him, nor did any image of a living being. Then darkness. His vision returned, and once again was nothing but a pure white curtain over his eyes, shining brightly against his retina as he attempted to gather his bearings. Though there was nothing to gather, nor anything to understand. His vision was slowly replaced with images of his past; the opening of his first office within Athens, meeting Sophos, the launch of the first Union colony ship to the stars, and then darkness again.

His body tensed as he awoke. Not in a mirage of images or blinding lights, but rather in a quaint and confined room. He laid in a bed, dressed with white sheets and a lone table at his bedside. On it was a single button, though he had no urge to press it. His eyes were drawn to the blank metallic grey door directly across the room from him. He eyed it curiously for any markings or something to find out where he was. His answer soon came as the door slid open from the side, and Sophos stepped in.

“Soph-”

His voice cracked as he attempted to speak. Something he had unknowingly not done for several years. Sophos approached him, his mustache much longer than last remembered by Magnus, though still twirled up into his cheekbones.

“Speak not my friend. You have been gone for some time, but all is well… I assure you.”

Magnus looked down towards his hands, noting the deep and jagged lines that were across them that he didn’t remember being there before. It wasn’t until he attempted to sit up did he feel the strain on his body that time had taken. He looked down to himself and pulled away the neck of his shirt, now only seeing the heavy scarring across the entire frontal section of his body, none of them freshly healed. Despite his injuries, his mind was only on one thing.

“I… Back to Vilgius… The Council. My work. They need it.”

Sophos approached the man, then sat at the edge of his bed distant away from Magnus. He looked to him, then shook his head.

“Who do you think did this?”

CORRUPTOR DOMINION

Pathetic little creatures. So ignorant. So helpless. Even so far above their insignificant lives, she could hear the whispers of their dull thoughts, their small-minded desires, their shortsighted dreams. Sometimes she whispered back. The grotesque monsters which followed her called her a witch, but as always they feared her more than they loathed her. The Corruptors would follow, when the time came.

On the night the assault ship finally arrived, the starry-eyed creature awoke, stretched her many legs, and at last boarded a ship to the surface - along with thousands of her new twisted kin. The primitives slumbered, for the night was dark and the ancient witch-corruptor was here, her once soothing mind now reaching out with malevolent intent. A whole city felt the icy harmony of her soul, and the deeper they slept the more unsettling the dream became. A calm whirlpool swirled in their thoughts, but the whirlpool was blood-red, and echoed with baleful cries. They tossed, they turned, but they did not wake.

Meanwhile, the true nightmare was almost upon them.

Much energy is dumped into a Central Control Core (38.000) (12.000C remaining)

More resources pour into a Central Control Core. (10M, 10A, 10S)

9R Into improving droid construction techniques. Improving the way in which any body is built, better alloys, better arms, legs, modularity, toughness, shock-resistance, etc. Generally gaining the capacity and knowledge to build significantly better droids. (9R into robot bodies) (20R invested)

More simulations, more data-testing, more programs modified and discarded. The programming of every body, every program, must be perfect. There can be no bugs, no glitches. Only smooth, efficient symbiosis, secure from cyberattacks, thinking at the speed of light. (2R into software) (13R invested)

Turn 7

2207

Map update, see Discord Chat.

Another year gone by, but first contacts have been made. Friend or foe, that will be shown, as mentalities meet eachother, ideas and concepts begin to clash and the women and men in charge decide whether they go to war, or keep the peace, for the interest and benefit of their own people.

---

The Remnant

Leviathian species is capable of absorbing solar winds. Transforming solar winds into biological energy required for its internal functions to continue. Minerals absorbed from dust and rocks from the solar system are sustenance from which it forms all necessary ingredients for its continued existence. A copying of this conversion method might prove valuable to the Remnant. Continued observation and intensified research possible.

Conceptualization of Wormhole technology continues. Goal is to fold space between two locations to allow almost instant travel. Assessment of difficulty inconclusive. Continue research.

Democratic Laconian Systems

As they travel, within the year, they encounter another devastated world to the South, in the same way as the first one, a similar picture cast on the planet. In the North however, they are drawn into an encounter they might have wanted to avoid. (Event)

With scraps and fragments from the alien station, they happen to find a harmless piece of plating, that shows a very intricate series of micro generators held within, that are indeed capable of generating a comfortable 1 G when powered. Immediately the scientists go to reverse engineer and research it, but thus far they have not cracked the code yet. The language department makes very little progress thus far. They have systemized the “letters” and symbols roughly, but without a point of reference this will be an impossible task.

U N I O N   T H U L È E N E

Little of note happening. Aside from the sighting of an old man in a white suit who appears to have enjoyed wandering the planet. In sixteen locations. In two hours. Ominous.

Grand Empire

There are greater concerns for the Grand Empire so it seems. The colony to the North reports that civilian vessels have been assaulted by unknown forces, people kidnapped and cargo stolen. So far, the reports lack major visual data, aside from fragments of bad quality images with grey rectangular shapes that shoot red beams.

Quercus Quorum

And by the end of the year, with the onset of the new one, the scientists report back to have rushed into a first functional warp engine. Not quite perfect yet, but it works, and it moves the prototype ships between their two claimed systems within very short spans of time. Travelling several times light speed, accelerating to it in minutes, instead of days. It is a glorious day for the Quorum.

The macro sensor technology hits a few roadblocks this year and yields no particular results. Yet.

H’wong Nation

Nothing new to report from the laser armament technology division, as they continue to toil away, with the math down, experimenting mostly with lenses, focusing devices, energy cells to bring a suitable downsized techtype of a handheld laser into play for the Nation.

Republic of Korinth

Perfect. The warp drives are now fully available to all ships of the Republic. Rejoice! The stars are now closer than ever.

Maneuverability of ships outside of the newly found realm of warp speed is important, so the upgrades to the fusion engines become paramount to allow better and faster in-system travel. The scientists agree, there is a lot of potential to be gained here.

Redon Empire

Reports follow. The first speaks of nothing of note, star systems with common worlds and nothing noteworthy. The second arrives with the same conclusion. The third however reports of a star system that holds FOUR habitable worlds, two worlds dry and reminiscient of their homeworld, desert worlds and arid, the third a world of blue and oceans, and the third a world of ice and coldness, where only the hardest of fauna and flora seems to thrive.

But nothing strikes as much as the report that they encountered another civilization. Odd in appearance, the exploration vessel managed to identify a colony of some sorts (going by the small size of the settlement) on another world, where these people just recently have set foot upon. They appear fair in skin, but have hair in common colors like the Redons.

The Republic of Tassarea

With the Protorian vessel at their side, the crew rejoices as they prepare to embark on the first voyage of the explorer ship of the Republic. Their first destination, next year of course, might be the Protorian homeworld. As guests and friends. Who knows.

The world they finally decide upon is similar to the one at home. A good climate, stable gravity, secure enviroment, friendly fauna and flora. Perfect for the Tassareans to thrive.

UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST PLANETARY REPUBLICS

The exploration vessels find a world, that seems to be teeming with a metal unknown and incredibly heavy. It is dark, almost pure black in appearance, incredibly dense as opposed to lead for example, and abundant in the system (eastern sector) where they found it. The planet itself is a rocky and mountaineous planet, rich in other ores and metals as well of course.

Union of Mann

Little can be gained from the bodies without tests. They died of asphyxiation in the vacuum of space and of course freezing to death in the sheer cold.

CORRUPTOR DOMINION

Oh and a massacre it will be. (Event)

It does not yield, it does not budge, it chips and is resistant to all attempts. The Corrupters are mad, insane even as they toil away at breaking and bending this forsaken metal to their will.

The Foundry

Additional appendages prototype #5 resulted in a decrease in utility and efficiency of 8.7%. Increase in weight of 9%. Detach immediately, scrap prototype, restart with prototype #6. Armor plating priority one. Move utility priority to rank 3.

7 bugs detected since last cycle. Patched immediately, results inconclusive, smooth operation of designated software sector ascertained.

Control Core almost operational. Additional resources required for completion of task. Once task is complete, awaiting further drones to command with new control core.

Talarak Clan

The clan proceeds to construct their first warships from the resources they had stockpiled in the previous years. Now with the new leadership, it was certain they’d soon move to greener pastures and claim something for themselves, riches, goods, weapons, especially weapons. Everyone needs a gun, just more weapons.

A stealthy approach might be the best idea, the researchers of the clan agree as they begin to work in the research module of the massive mothership, as it floats through the sea of stars, accompanied by the dozens of civilian vessels that act as homes for their people too. Not everyone lives on the mothership of course.
