Guest Share Posted June 4, 2019 Soaring High, Let Me Fly Afternoon everyone, We’ve heard a lot regarding our new policy on /fly. So we’re changing it. But first, why did we remove personal /fly in the first place? LotC’ers love the access flight provides. It trivializes the effort required by Minecraft to construct tall buildings. But that’s not the issue. The problem is the absolute torrent of tickets. Moderators will recall for years to come—the panic of a day drowned in /fly tickets. A while back, the policy was amended internally—moderators were no longer required to babysit flying players. This saved a lot of time but dismissed any assurance of proper use. So here we are now. Flight is back. Sporadic, our resident teen heartthrob, coded /purchasefly. Here’s a look at what that is. /purchasefly [region] [player]— then type YES to confirm, use /rg info to name the region you are standing in. The following text will appear on screen: "You are about to purchase fly for [player name] within the region [region] for one (1) day. In doing so you and the flight recipient agree that this power is strictly for the purposes of OOC building and must not be used during roleplay or any kind of player-to-player interaction. Both of you will be responsible for imprinting the fair use of this feature. Furthermore, you will be required to pay a fee of 500, which will be deducted immediately." Have a great day, Pun.
