The Silver and the Bear

signed in the Kingdom of Curonia on the 9th of The First Seed, 1719.

 

The Silver and the Bear, a pact signed between the Silver State of Haelun’or and the Kingdom of Curonia, with the purpose of maintaining the peace and good relations between the High Elves of Haelun’or and the Humans of Curonia, shall be enacted immediately and fully, via the full force and authority of their respective nations and administrations, to be enforced in its intended spirit, according to all articles contained herein, terminating only upon the mutual consent of both signatories or their successors.

 

The Terms, agreed upon by both signatories, are as followed:

 

[ I ] :  Both parties shall enforce a strict non-aggression pact, under all circumstances.
[ II ] :  Both parties shall agree to defend one another if the other is aggressed upon, with nothing left than the full extent of their military and political authority.

[ III ] :  Both parties recognize the irrevocable sovereignty and independence of the others nation. If this sovereignty and independence is contested or threatened, they shall protect one another, with nothing less than the full extent of their military and political authority.

[ IV ] :  A policy of free trade and travel shall be enacted between the two nations. No customs shall be applied to any exchange between the two nations. The citizens of both nations shall be permitted to freely and safely travel within the borders of both nations.

[ V ] :  Both parties shall assist one another in intercepting and obtaining fugitives and criminals in their nations, unless they would violate another treaty, pact, or alliance in doing so.  

[ VI ] :  If either party is found to be in violation of this pact, all articles shall remain in effect, so long as sincere diplomatic efforts are taken to peacefully resolve the dispute, according to the aforementioned articles.
