Yeah, that's forced PvP, but it's necessary to maintain immersion. You can't just say no to a war. That said, I think this new rule is entirely unnecessary. If people were abusing the banditry rules - - and let me be absolutely clear, the new rules declared that 3 people or less is banditry, not a raid - - then the abusers should have been brought up with warnings and then CBs. That's already part of the rules. You don't need to change the rules when you already have a solution for excessive banditry against one target. According to the rules, two things happened. Excessive banditry against a single target in rapid succession. And going against the good faith clause in warclaims by doing the excessive banditry while OOC war negotiations were ongoing (by the aggressors) and by claiming and expecting help from the skygods to save them from PvP (by the defenders). Here is the solution given by the rules (and Telanir's FAQs). Excessive banditry should be addressed by the mods. If the players seem unrepentant, CBs can be issued. Bad faith means that, if mods are called into negotiations, they can leave more heavily on the side of those acting in good faith. Boom, done. No need for new rules.

You can argue “waah we’re a ******* RP nation!” but ****, anybody who loses a national raid to three people doesn’t deserve to be a nation pvper or not IMHO. Exactly, there is just overall too much whining from everyone on how **** doesn’t go their way.
