The Rust Barony

Brogwad reported the weak tribe north of the Barony to the ever-swolening Duke Duke. His muscles rippled in fury at the mere mention of such lack of chivalrousness. Duke Duke takes the news relatively well, however, merely punching the wall a few times and challenging four of his warriors to a fight. He could not let innocents suffer without throwing himself in front of them honorably, shielding them from the dreadful pain that they might face! He roared at Wizzo, summoning the Shaman from his great pile of spark-boxes and magical rituals.

“The brigands of the concrete trees vex me so, brother!” Duke Duke roared. “Have you created the plate armour I asked of you?”

The Shaman shook his head, solemnly. “Nay, Duke of Dukes. It is proving a challenge. Plates, kettles, and teacups are very brittle, and not particularly tough. The tribes who forged armour from such material must have been true masters of their craft.”

Duke Duke roared his displeasure, assaulting the wall yet again.

“However!” Wizzo continued, “in the meantime, we have created armour of brahmin! Strong and light, great one!” He pulled from his loincloth a gauntlet of thick leather, and presented it to Duke Duke.

Duke Duke answered Wizzo’s gauntlet proffering by angrily tearing it apart and throwing it in the fire. “Knights don’t wear leather!! They wear plate!! The books said so!”

Wizzo got back to work.

Morgan’s Rifles

Joe Morgan angrily walks through the remnants of his command tent. The damn raiders from across the river had finally pulled a decent stunt. While his Regiment was abroad, they had stabbed hard for the bridge. A noble ally, but perhaps not as capable, the River-Dale Company delegated to garrison could not prevail. And now his Regiment had to sift through the ashes, and salvage what they could. Though a slight delay to production, Morgan’s Rifles were still growing at a very steady clip.

Learning from their mistakes, the newly minted 3rd and 4th Platoon are sworn into Regimental service. Properly equipped, these units will work in tandem with the more Veteran 1st and 2nd Platoons. Together these four Platoons will form the first official Company of the Regiment, 1st Company. The prize of leading this is given to now Captain Pierre Du Faunte. The Regiment now focuses on maintaining their tight grip around the Reavers. Every bridge and crossing point will have a strong Platoon keeping an eye on things.

The Sky Reavers
The Sacking of Morgan’s Lands

Kronos raised a mug of alcohol into the air “To a successful raid!” The crowd spread around the camp bonfires cheered and roared, gunshots fired into the air. The men were celebrating their recent victory, they defeated one of the Riverdalians armies and sacked a settlement to boot. With all the more gear they easily could replace their losses with fresh new troops.

A raider shoved his way forward “Aye! I’ll have next try on that.” he demanded, the group of men settled as they took turns spraying their recently acquired machine guns for sport. Cans and Bottles were the victims.

“Oi! We should see if Ratchet could possibly make some more of these..Then we could have as many as we want!”

Ratchet sat working on a new rifle for himself, just about to put the final piece before the men busted through his door stumbling over themselves to get in...he botched the work glaring over at them “You all better have a very good reason for ruining my work…”

Turn 6

(2176)

All is well and quiet, such as is the calm before the storm.

Brotherhood of Steel Expedition

This collaboration between the two Scribes is possibly the greatest supergroup ever created; rivaling N.W.A, The 2016-17 Warriors, and the 2019-20 Browns. (+2 R to Armor)

Men report in seeing across the western border many… intrusions. Signs of campfires, bedrolls, and even some half-eaten cans of food are what remains of these outposts. But never has a person been seen entering these camps.

The Holy Nation

The Holy research-scribes bring forth a weapon of divine retribution: The Holy Cocktail (Commonly mistaken for Holy Water vessel) (T1 Explosives)

Those sent north return with news of the block being cleared; however, they also return with several fewer men. (-20 Population)

It seems to happen when they least expect it… More men are missing, socks and all. (-5 Population)

ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL

Explosives are far off, any kind of proper use for what are essentially firecrackers, at this point, seem futile.

Jet engines are complicated things, as the men of the Rock find. Though some pretty wicked looking helicopters drawn on a napkin is a good start.

Bikes with sidecars? What an idea. The only issue is finding a way to… make a sidecar.

The Caravan responds with open arms. They are indeed interested in a mutual agreement of trade and immigration.

Lands are seized, and the discovery of the pizza cutters of Old Chicago also occurs. Initial contact is up for debate, however.

The Rust Barony

Tribesmen go, tribesmen take!

Wizzo comes up with a wonderful discovery, body armor IS helpful for protecting yourself. (+2 R towards body armor)

The men of Eden kindly decline the offer of joining, instead of counter offering a trade agreement to the Barony.

Car engines are no match for the might of DUKE DUKE THE DUKE OF BARON-VILLE. (+1 Strength)

The Republic of Riverdale

The men are not far off from new rifles for the Dale, and the help from the Regiment certainly helps out with their research. [Yes that’s how it works]

They came in numbers, they came in armed, and they came in angry. (Discord)

The Stone-Faces

Powerful fire pots indeed, by the end of the year the Tribals find themselves blessed by those above as they find a way to NOT set themselves on fire, but rather the enemy! (T1 Explosives)

They try to head east… but they realize there’s a lake there. Guess they’ll head west! But they realize there’s nothing there but empty buildings.

Morgan’s Rifles

Research goes well, or as well as they could. Now with the Dale assisting their research, they gain quite the boost in their technology. (+4 R)

The Sky Reavers

Sturdier pipe rifles are quite something of an achievement. Perhaps some of these weapons found from the Dale would be of use to their research…

The men find little to their south. Nothing but some scavengers who do indeed take their weaponry for a couple of caps, but nothing too significant. (-25 T1 Gunpowder, -5 T1 Heavy Gunpowder, +250 Caps)

Camps. Mostly likely wasters no doubt, yet still we must be diligent. I have ordered for forward observers to watch the camps day and night before we make our move. It'll be a small group that goes, most likely including myself, Creek, and Sanchez. Maybe we'll find technology and it'll be a worthwhile trip. Probably not but we shall hope for the best.

With reports of these camps, security is upped and a few scouts are sent out to observe the camps.

6 men are dispatched in pairs of twos North, West and South. They are in search of terminals, files and any intel that would lead to the discovery of technology.
