The Empire forged by Tiber Septim, which ruled all of Tamriel now lay weakened and divided. The Mede dynasty had risen to power roughly 200 years ago after the death of Martin Septim during the oblivion crisis. They maintained order within the Empire for decades until the Aldmeri Dominion invaded starting the Great War. While both sides suffered greatly in the war, with the Dominions whole army in Cyrodil wiped out and the Empires legions nearly drained. Emperor Titus Mede II agreed to peace, and signed the controversial white gold concordat. Outlawing the worship of Talos in the Empire and ceding parts of Hammerfell to the Dominion. Hammerfell refused to accept the terms effectively breaking off from the Empire and driving out the Dominion on their own. Now Ulfric Stormcloak has risen in rebellion against the Empire in Skyrim. He challenged the High King to a duel and used the power of the voice to kill the High King. Now half of Skyrim calls Ulfric a murderer and traitor. Early in the rebellion Ulfirc was captured and brought to Helgen for execution but a dragon quickly interfered saving the Jarls life. With the reemergence of dragons and rumors of another Dragonborn walking Tamriel, the world lay open for opportunity. Which means you’ll be free to do as you wish without having to worry about AP. However is must be within the realm of reason the Mods will moderate what you are doing if its seen as unfair or unrealistic. Also, while you can change the events and decisions of the factions you play as you can’t do something that goes against their beliefs. For example the Stormcloaks teaming up with the Elves to fight the Empire. Emperor of the Empire will be playable, the Empire itself is divided and in the middle of a rebellion it won’t be overpowered. But the Aldmeri Dominion itself will be off limits, however the Kingdom of Valenwood and its allies in Elsweyr are playable. Overall when in doubt speak to a mod. After the devastation of ancients homeland our seafaring people made way to find a new home, after landing at hammerfell we have utter destroyed any who opposes our new rule over this great land. however in the next few century/era civil war breaks out against the crowns and the Forebears. With the crown supporting the ancient king descendants and remain traditionally to the old ways, with the Forebears who risen in rebellion demanding new ways of cultural freedom and expansion through military and political might. It was deadlock until the crowns geniusly outflank the Forebears army utterly causing massive string of defeats afterwards. That is until the Forebears agreed to fight for the empire. After restoring the deadlock the Forebears has improved greatly in military, diplomacy, cultural and political stability then they have had before, again however another civil war broke out and the result was much better with the new advancement and support of the empire who soon withdraw much needed support when war broke out with the aldmeri dominion who swiftly siege and took most coastal towns by surprise and vastly overruned much of hammerfell, with both sides of the civil war growing hatred towards the empire and much more towards the aldmeri dominion. As war continued with civil war and invasion of the thamor theForebears rushed from the sentinel which was liberated, to break the siege of Hegathe which was controlled by the loyalists to the crown clan. After the siege broke theForebears and the crown united to fight against the common foe retaking much land back from the aldmeri dominion who had made peace with the empire on the writ of the white gold Concordat in which the united forces in hammerfell rejected completely separating themselves from the empire and thus drove the aldmeri dominion out of hammerfell until peace was made and the second treaty of stros M'kai. With old grudges that seems to greatly fade however still vastly disgruntled between the crowns and the Forebears. And new opportunity emerging. Can theForebears stand against the test of time? Have they reached their peak? Or have they only just begun with a greater destiny that they may soon embark towards? Now that time has passed and the world around them is changing, High Chief Jakori of the clan Rivanni is crowned High Chief of Helstrom, tasked with turning a small chiefdom into a unified and powerful argonian state to fight the outside influences of the Aldmeri Dominion, Dark Elves and the possible resurgence of the empire. Brief History of Your Faction: Recent history has not been kind to the once hegemonic Empire. The Oblivion Crisis ravaged Cryodil, and only the rise of the Mede Dynasty prevented the Empire’s collapse into chaos. After the Great War, in which the Empire would have been utterly vanquished were it not for the military genius and courage of the Legions under Titus Mede II at the Battle of The Red Ring, which, whilst not able to stop the sacking of the imperial city, was able to achieve a total and decisive victory over a Dominion army which looked poised to waltz to all over her, the Empire is divided by the White Gold Concordat, and looks ahead wearily to the next war. Titus Mede II, regarded as an hero in Cyrodil for saving the Empire from destruction, is detested by many Nords for the White Gold Concordat, whilst the now-independent Hammerfell distrusts him for his attempts to ‘sell them out.’ However, they do have a common rival in the expansionist Elves, who will not rest, it is known, until their banner flies over every city of the Empire. Now Titus is an old man. But his heir is the brilliant Lucius Mede, who has already distinguished himself in the Stormcloak Rebellion as General Tullius’ most brilliant Tribune, even displacing the experienced Rikke as his second in command. Even though Ulfric and his supporters claimed it was a formal duel in the "Old Nord Way." Many within the realm of Skyrim, such as General Tullius, called it murder due to Ulfric's use of the Thu'um, which had given the High King, Torygg, no chance of victory. After Torygg's death, Ulfric fled to Windhelm, and Skyrim fell into civil war. Using a combination of the outlawing of Talos worship and the Nords' strong sense of nationalism along with their mistrust of the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion, Ulfric successfully recruited a great many of Skyrim's populace to the rebellion. All of the hold governments of the four Old Holdsdeclared for Ulfric, as well as many wanderers, workers, sellswords, warriors, soldiers and former soldiers. Filled with descendents of their ancient king of yokuda traveled to hammerfell after a foothold was secured by their great warriors and soon after hold All of hammerfell to their power and tradition! However in the next few centuries/era traction become evermore reselent demanding cultural and religious change where the crown would not tolerate! It was not long before the forebears once proud honored warriors of Hammerfell roses in uprising, they secured the southern coastline before suffering many great string of defeats by the army of the crowns. That is until they called upon a foreigner hungry for power and land, the empire aided the forebears against the crowns causing massive defeats before a deadlock was secured and peace was made. But peace did not last as civil war again broke out and the fierce fighting continued where the empire abandoned the forebears to fight against Aldemeri dominion who has launched a great invasion starting the great war. At first this was welcoming news to the crowns as the forebears will no longer be on the offensive, that was until the aldmeri invaded hammerfell sieging and massacring many cities practically overrunning the country. It was then at this moment where the forebears came to aid destroying and lifting the siege of hagathe which at the time was under the crown loyalist. With the crowns and the forebears uniting to destroy and kick the invaders out of their homeland, it was then when the empire signed the white gold corodat which effectively surrendered hammerfell lands to the dominion, angered by this the united hammerfell left the empire altogether growing everlasting hate towards them and more so to the thalmor effectively running the thalmor out of hammerfell forcing them to sign the second treaty of stros M’kai. With the crown and forebears great divided nearly faded however still disgruntled towards one another. And surrounded by unwelcoming nations who have to long mettled in the affairs of hammerfell. Can the crowns stand against the ever growing threat that has always greatly defied and resisted alongside the forebears? or can they become something more with great promise and opportunity awaiting? They began as elves only to have their leader twisted by a god and cast away from their long-eared companions. From there the orcs became wanderers and foreigners, as none would accept the creatures anywhere. That was until one stepped up and created the first Orsinium. Which ruled in High Rock before the Bretons sieged them and forced the orcs out. This would be a recurring theme for the orcs… Though what had been learned is that the orcs did not fall easily, as it took many years to destroy their stronghold in the mountains. Thus when their more modern strongholds were created, they were created as allies of the Empire. It borders Elswyr to the west and Cyrodil to the north. In E1 2714, Valenwood fell to Cyrodil after the Sload of Thras. The Imperial government, fearing the Bosmer would revolt against Cyrodil, Gave each City of Valenwood independence so they would not unite against Cyrodil. After a Camoran attempted to unite the dysfunctional city-states of Valenwood. the Bosmer began to war its neighbors, Distracted by its ambitions it would be defeated by the Maormer of Pyandonia. Valenwood would finally find stability when it formed the First Aldmeri Dominion with the Summerset Isle and Elswyr. It would also be apart of the Second Aldmeri Dominion until it was absorbed into the third empire during the Tiber Wars. After 50 years the Bosemer became sick of the Imperial government, and the Camoran Usurper rose to power. Recruiting those who believed in his cause and killed those against him. He went to war against Cyrodil until 20 years the Bosmer disposed of his rule. After this, the Bosmer would become distrusting of other races and would go into Isolationism. After years of turmoil, a coup was held. Throwing out the Imperial friendly government with the help of the Thalmor. Immediately after the success, A union with the Summerset islands happened. Forming the Third Aldmeri Dominion. Now after the controversial White-Gold Concordat, The Kingdom of Valenwood sits watching the Empire weakened with the Dominion. The once referred “Imperial City” of Skyrim has diminished from it’s former self still stands as one of the most remarkable sights in Skyrim. The outskirts are filled with farmers hard at work with the protection of the brave Companions while the Plains District bustles with activity, the marketplace filled with goods. Here the Nord thrives as they live simple lives in a agrarian society, the city itself acts as a central trading hub for the surrounding plains. With Skyrim cast into civil war, Yarl Balgruuf took a stance of neutrality intending to preserve Whiterun from the devastation of war, though this neutrality will only last so long. The question must be answered, what side will Whiterun take and what will it mean for the future of it’s people. Yarl Bulgruuf is a respected leader and his people are bound to follow whatever decision he makes. There are also rumors of large plumes of smoke rising from Helgen.
