PRAHARAVKAN FEDERATION

In light of recent events, the liberal government has come under fire for failure to contain the Gwangnanese insurgents. Despite Rodchenko inciting rebellion by opening fire on a crowd of protesters, he has garnered much sympathy from disgruntled Praharavkan leadership and common people alike - fed up with the Gwangnanese thorn in the side of Praharavka. At the same time, vacating the territory was out of the question, as it would simply fall into the hands of the CNSR. The nationalist party garners much support, with many generals crossing party lines - ready to do whatever necessary to pacify Gwangnan. Peace was never an option.

More men and resources are called upon to subdue the western mountains. Engines once again roar into life, and boots crunch upon crisp snowfalls. Horrible timing, though Praharavka could not sit and wait for better weather while the Segi Keigu festered. Measures would need to be taken swiftly and action had decisively. Chief of the Aerial Staff and 1st Skylord Sir Pyotr Basevic becomes the head of the nationalist All-Praharavkan Front party, who to many is symbolic of Praharavka’s glory days and a testament of the country’s endurance and power, and hierarchical mobility through skill and worth.

Praharavkan R&D double down on aerial power this year. Air Chief Marshal Sir Andrei Stepanov, an ally of Basevic, order improvements upon the old Li-3 torpedo fighter, and commission new dive bombers to pad out Praharavkan air wing compliments aboard PRAC carriers. In the coming years, they also hope to develop and mount FFARs to their fighter planes.

Westerfield Confederacy

Field Marshal Joe Brayden and his Gunslingers chomp on cigars, and spit phlegm and tobacco onto the ground. Fully armored in T-90 power armor, they feel invincible. The Valdenian army was just witnessed fleeing right past Joe. They all shared a good laugh as the sullen Yoeck drove by. The two general stared at each other, giving small nods. Due to twist of fate they were now neutral. Joe and his men had been itching for a fight. But it seemed there was no need, victory had already been secured. The Empire of Valdek was gone, and to door to Ozan wide open....

At the borders of Ozan they rapidly tried to go above Field Marshal Brayden’s head. The Ozani tried to surrender to Carnelia and the Sultan. But they were duly informed Westerfield was the authority in the West. Now the Ozani Royals are forced to deal with these power armored men. A fug of tobacco hangs around them as they victoriously march into the capital of Erzurum. As negotiations begin, it is clear Ozan has reached the end of it’s Monarchial ways.

e199811c4ef2ccb8b154c8217c6d22ad.jpg

The old Caliphate is to be democratically incorporated into a newly formed Federation. President Levander Bixby, and both houses of Government, are calling for Federal reforms. The volatile nature of the Confederacy is now too unreliable for such a  massive Nation. There is need to turn each province into it’s own self managing states. Ozan particularly was in heavy need of reform. Though the aristocracy is kept, their titles cease to mean anything besides honorifics. They are allowed to run for government, just like the poorest Ozani can.

This year is all about voting and growth in Westerfield. Will the Confederation evolve into a centralized Federation? Who would win the votes in Ozan? What was Joe Brayden’s occupation plan? Where did Thomas Brayden run off too?

There they would settle to wait out the next storm season, then send word back.

THE EMPIRE OF VALDEK

Year 1895

_________________________________________________

**** I keep forgetting to do this, sorry retards.

_________________________________________________

Actions

Financial Actions:

-Regular economic growth (10,000)
-Commercial district in Veiken (10,000)

-Trade depot in Veiken (10,000)
-Four trade depots and four commercial districts are built across the colonies (80,000)
-Foreign aid to Aurelia (30,000)
---
-Five more steel mills are subsidized by the government (12,500)

-Six new vitramite facilities are built across the empire (60,000)
-Four more heavy industrial facilities are financed (30,000)

---
-Another Dreadnought is laid down (36,000)
-A half finished Klendari BC is finished (15,000)
-Two more cruisers are laid down (22,000)
-Nine more destroyers are laid down (27,000)

---
-An order is placed to Vuot for four hundred more tanks (32,000) (12 ap)
-A thousand Power armor suits are produced (16,000) (8 ap)
-25,000 More mechanized troops fill out the ranks of Yoeck’s Corp (50,000) (20 ap)
-15,000 More mechanized troops fill out the ranks of Yoeck’s Corp, with production bought from Gallian (42,000) (12 ap)

Mod/RP Actions:

-Programs begin in Koibita aiming to slowly and peacefully integrate the country, now firmly under Valdenian influence, directly into the Empire. This is done with the help of the Koibitanese Emperor and his rapidly centralizing nation (10,000)

-Conquests in Koibita! (Plans are already in the encounter)

-Concerned with the financial situation in Volta-Solvan, and what it could mean for many Valdenian Companies, efforts are begun to grow a competing stock market/stock market exchange; based in the capital, the venture would seek to use the Empire’s large economy, and somewhat central Old World position to foster growth (10,000)

Research:
- [Passive] Vuot Armaments, the primary producer and designer of much of the IVA’s heavy machinery once more sets out to improve on their previous work. After the massive armored fighting in Baresh, the need for a fast, well armed, and well armored medium tank had become apparent, and Vuot is contracted to produce just that!

PWLCcv6N8AbKPANmBO2ig4J8LDa9qaS0o3ftXvnSvOA-W3MyEpD3NjGCm1ovS84ec7Hha6ai4Oufv-nXzVmEi3DPTN6p5UdBTBeN1Gl1BxukL0JbgdJxCDCH0GWnvLK1HnwXCaJb

- [Passive] A new naval arms race on the horizon, the Empire’s economy was far from optimal for such a venture. Instead of raw numbers, the IVN decides to shift focus to improving the quality of their ships. Contracts are handed out to design a completely modern, next generation dreadnought. Ideally, the ship being equipped with the latest and greatest instruments and equipment, as well as being capable of far greater speeds.

- [Passive] So much love for the army this year! Very much interested in the newest addition to the IVA, known as Power Armor, or Heavy infantry in certain circles. The technology is extremely promising. Many contracts are handed out to various companies, hoping to improve the suits in general.

The Sardian Pact

f4m6O4HZ4KpAYtHnaOWR4Bn6pBgW_X_kocl-bsj9FQUyjA1Tl6AXPQ9MrS4qIH5gFqHp30PqtaYWhhT7g31fpO_3PW4eP2rR5sKVrQkQLM1KeLIH2_cQ-7K65Xb7QA_reHPuCfJs

Victory! Utter, complete victory! Two years of war, thousands of lives lost, miles of territory abandoned and retaken. Who can doubt the Pact’s might now, for even after early defeats, they have risen stronger than ever before. From the skies of Baresh to the streets of Bathiye, the Klendari’s soldiers have been smashed. Their aggression met with ferocity the likes of which Sardia has never seen; their foolish arrogance was their doom. Time and time again, Pact and Karakhwa forces have proven their superiority.

In Perzah they struck without hesitation or mercy, crushing the bellicose upstart within a week!

At Karaman, they gave their lives to halt the Klendari advance, stopping the world’s largest war machine in its tracks!

At Sayas they struck like birds of prey, burning hundreds of ships and foiling any approach from the sea! The northern snakes could not bring themselves to advance further, so great was their fear!

Amidst thunder and lightning they battled, throwing back the combined navies of Klendar and Valdek in a clash worthy of song!

Above Baresh they crushed the enemy’s fleet, and ran down his best troops like so many frightened animals!

In the cities of Klendar we rained fire and death, bringing their arrogant war effort to its knees!

Sultan merely glared at Emperor, and so Anlund fled Sardia forever!

Ozan cowered and knelt, and the west was ours!

The Klendari turned to each other’s throats, and their armies scattered and collapsed!

The Pact PREVAILED.

Across Sardia, soldiers of the Pact celebrate their victory, whether in the liberated fields of Nazr or the conquered cities of Klendar. At last, the dream of tyranny toppled is realized. In the capital of Sard, a hundred thousand Klendari prisoners are herded to the palace, where Sultan and Arbiter Abdul personally declares the war over and orders their release - to the celebratory cannonfire of Horowitz’s dreadnoughts, floating high above. The broken remains of their mighty railway gun, the shattered husks of their tanks, the ruined scraps of their planes - all are laid before the Carnelian people as prizes of war.

For a whole week, the city is engulfed in celebration, Pact soldiers venerated as heroes and their generals as gods. Field Marshal Orbay, the savior of all Sardia, receives so many medals that he cannot fit them all onto his uniform. A procession of civilians and brave soldiers are inducted into Carnelia’s highest honor the Order of Heroes, including Mustafa Akar, inventor of the armor which saved the Pact’s fleet from destruction.

The Pact has Prevailed, and its victory now echoes across the world, its generals famous at home and abroad. The 27th of December, the start of the war, Sardia Day, shall forever be celebrated as the day this wondrous new era began.

tenor.gif

The year 1895 marks the third year of the alliance’s existence, and already Sardia lies at its feet, subdued. Amidst reconstruction and demilitarization, the Arbiter calls Pact states to a conference in Sard, where the spoils are to be divided. When they emerge, a new map emerges with them. Soon, the empty spaces on the map will disappear, engulfed by the new order.

eje5lj-C30fY5Ef2gLM7ZWfgU6bGq5qSPP3u1oOj86mElA62Die6IegtVeMjxVG3OngWSX8n0R-BlNs_m4Fwl77j5DmGg0Rlh14kxn7M3PIbPf2GggrczVQTJE7ToL9IuXtFfE8F

Another consequence of the Sard Conference is the formation of the PAN-SARDIAN TRADING COMPANY, representing the colonial ambitions of all the Pact. A thousand shares have been distributed among the five full members of the union, and ships and men prepare to set off from Sardian shores. Riches await them on foreign shores, for who can stand against the Pact united?

Finally, while representatives from all his allies are in the city, the 33-year-old Sultan Abdul finally marries his first wife: Orna Ben-Yosef, sister of the armored general who valiantly defended Baresh. Though Abdul has historically had bad luck with women, (being a manlet), it seems hegemony over a whole continent is a potent aphrodisiac. The beautiful Orna will no doubt mother a worthy heir.

May the Pact Prosper...

Hail Carnelia!

--------------

Foreign Policy

[The Sardian Pact] - 3 ASP and 14 AP is made available for free to Pact members, with the gentle suggestion that perhaps they should replace some of those horses…

[KCP] - If the Pact and communists are to be enemies, the Sultan has no intention of being the one to start it. Those agents responsible for communicating with the KCP during the war now become the official Carnelian ambassadors, while most others are purged with their infiltrated Klendari ministries. Attempting to gauge their ideological fervor, Carnelia offers much of its excess steel to help rebuild the nation from the aftermath of the Pact’s own bombing raids.

[Annexed Land] - As the dust settles over Klendar, the Sultan declares that the century-long conflict between the two peoples is over, and all must now learn to live together in the new world. To ward off discontent and prevent a regional economic collapse, the government soon approves a massive intervention to revitalize the area. (39 Civilian Industry built.) This is soon followed by regional elections for the Carnelian senate, quietly monitored by the Secret Ministry.

[P*rzah] - In contrast, the Sultan has absolutely no intention of granting citizenship to the filthy P*rzans. Carnelia officially annexes the disputed island as well as the vitramite deposits to the south, but other than that P*rzah is left unintegrated. Designating the country a Carnelian protectorate, the Sultan unleashes his scheming commerce minister, Chaim Weiselberg, to set up a government in much the same way one would in an overseas colony. Carnelian business interests will be allowed to run rampant, while strict border checks will prevent the P*rzans from leaving except with special government permission. Perhaps this kind of wealth extraction will push these nationalist whackjobs over the edge, forcing Carnelia to bombard them into oblivion. Perhaps that’s what Carnelia wants.

[Koibita] – The PSTF sets sail from their victories of Emmeria and Venza to colonize Koibita from the other side!

1. Scarab - ScaL-1 Rocket Launcher [1897 Estimate]

With massive profits rolling in from their famous FFAR, Scarab nevertheless realizes that they’ve made a mistake. The infantry is helpless! In a project that quickly becomes their greatest priority, Scarab begins work adapting their rockets to be deployed throughout the army, not just in the air.

2. Black Rain - FUNDED, 80,000 GOLD

3. Akar Steelworks - Hardening Treatments [1897 Estimate]

STILL not satisfied, Akar takes his massive profits from his last invention and invests it into advancing the frontier of armor yet more. Treating Akar alloys to various promising techniques, his engineers set to work making the most of every millimeter of shielding.

FUNDED: (NEW NEW NEW) Oddly, the Carnelian military contracts both Akar Steel and Scarab Arms to begin work on bigger, better naval guns, capable of firing and mechanically reloading rounds larger than any currently found in the skies. The requested guns range from 18-20 inchers up to a ridiculously massive 30 inch battery, a caliber never before even considered for the air. The two companies can hardly refuse so much money, but to actually mount such weapons would require a ship far, far larger than anything that exists. A strange project, to be sure. YEAR IN REVIEW, 1895

-+-

19 Jan. | The other movie out of Briartown this year, given a massive budget of 20.000, is called LAST MAN STANDING, and details the legendary defense of Lt. Colonel Kedem Har-Zahav at Karaman. It is a three hour long thriller, with suspenseful long-shots of individual soldiers, and is the tale of the fifty thousand sons, brothers, and fathers of the Carnelian I Corps, and the rear guard left behind under Har-Zahav to defend the city. It is even more dramatized than the real life occasion, though claims it is a completely true story.

21 Jan. | Miscellaneous investments occur in the civilian and military sectors.

3 Feb. | 16.500 ABM is sent to Valdek, and 11.000 ABM to the Empire of Syullin. 20.000 is sent to Modevia.

5 Mar. | Moso Grandisi is announced as the Bellican entrant to the Tierra Rojan Air Race, and 2.000 is fronted as the entry fee.

3 Oct. | A horrifying movie is made, in the form of SUICIDE, a film about the horrifying suicide-bombing of the Venzeatic racer just to take out a party ship full of, well, partygoers! Given a budget of 5.000 ABM, it is an hour-and-a-half long movie of suspense, showing a beautiful, ornate party aboard a palace-like yacht, climaxing in the aforementioned suicide bombing, killing everyone aboard! The movie, in which there is among the Venzeatic crewmen of Valeryii only syphilitic, evil-looking men, and belowdecks bedrooms full of dogs to mate with, is quite obviously anti-Venzan!

4 Nov. | 10 AP and 1.500 ABM is spent on modernizing the equipment of loyal Azhoni warrior clans, improving their castles, and buying favor through military assistance. Disloyal elements, of course, are given nothing.

-Cloud Hunter commissions a MASSIVE temple to herself in what was once the capital of Carrieux. She has room torn down for it near the center of the city. It will have wind-horns coming down from the highest point and filling the entire building with a constant, chilly breeze, while boilers below project a cold fog into the same atmosphere, creating an uncertain, cloudy interior. In the middle, sticking out of the fog with fires as her eyes, will be a truly awesome Statue of Sha Hashtaal, towering over the pews and the altar at her feet. An archimedy’s screw lifts the blood up from the pool surrounding her feet, from the many sacrifices occurring before her, and lets it dribble down the shoulders of the statues and down her arms. -With the war ending, the Karakhwa turn back to the lucrative art of raiding. This year, they target international trade along the sea separating Anlund from Sardia, along with any other trade within their range, really. They travel in small groups and hit all trade but Pact Trade. This includes any communist trade between the CSAC and the new KCP. (15 Yotal’s Hawks, 10 Corvettes, 5 destroyers and 2 battlecruisers.)

-Some spoils of war filter their way to Cloud Hunter through her connections among the Karakhwa. They are put to good use rewarding the most loyal Carrieux, and modernizing installations under their control, along with continued brainwashing, construction of temples and indoctrination of the population, especially the children. (20.000 Gold)

-Cloud Hunter begins recruiting numerous forces from the Sodrieux and loyal Carrieux populations, stationing them almost exclusively in Carrieux.

Roleplay:

In the City of Armathwaite the city lights would be dim as the heavy industrial factories worked into the night, creating new weapons of war, smoke billowing out of the chimneys. Vernon Smith would be strolling down the street, people tipping their hat to him as he passes during the seasonably unusually warm. Vernon would retrieve his pocket watch from his waistcoat pocket seeing the time, letting out a sigh he was running late and would heighten his pace. Eventually reaching the family public house ‘The Dark Pearl’, with the inside being bustling he would head to the business booth to see the patriarch of the family John.

“Brother, Rojan race results came in, seems Flash won.” the younger Vernon would say to John “How do the books look? We get a good return on the bets?” the patriarch would respond “Good results all around, imagine the Commission and the Oxlease Firm are going to be none too pleased we’re stepping in on their territory. They’ve always kept Gambling as their thing, could mean we get a visit from a couple of Randgritz Goons or Oxlease Thugs.” Vernon explains “Never mind  that little brother, the Randgritz bunch are more concerned with pretending to be nobles and industrialists, they went soft. As for Oxlease they’re just soft in the head.”

Vernon would nod before withdrawing several rolls of Cumberlandic Guinea’s in note form and leaving them on the table for his brother. He quietly thought to himself that there was a storm coming, his brother seemingly baiting the other large syndicates to go to war. If the Smith Family were going to win they were going to need more friends.

The much promised comprehensive land reform is announced to begin this year. After the Great War the Crown Estate inherited and absorbed much of the fertile farmland in Cumberland due to the fact their owners and families all died out during the great war. Many of these estates and farms were vast in their size with them only being given upkeep in order to keep the land fertile over the years since the end of the great war. However due to the sheer size of these leftover farms and estates it has left the Crown Estate ballooned and incredibly difficult to manage and impossible to fully staff. With poverty rising in the Grand Principality it has been a long desired focus to renovate many tenant farms and estates and give education to poorer families in order to revitalise the agricultural sector in order to see a large annual return year on year through exports. The idea is through educating the poor how to manage the farms and hire on farmhands it can lower unemployment, the program also includes the pathway to purchase the land off the Crown Estate after several years of proven profit and forbids the sale of land to those already of significant wealth to prevent monopolies. The ultimate goal is to cement Cumberland as the breadbasket of the world. (Mod 100,000)

100 Howitzers are ordered from the Military Factories this year to increase the overall amount available. (8AP, 36,000)

Two Airshipyards are constructed. (20,000)

Two Heavy Industry are constructed (15,000)

Ten Civilian Factories are constructed (50,000)

A Detente is sought with the CSAC, seeking to generate warmer relations between the two nations. More importantly de-esculation of the Militarisation of both sides of the border. (Mod)

Nothing Like It, Not in the Service

“Coffee, stat!”. There was no call more sacred to the culinary server; that hallowed caffeinated liquid was promptly poured into the cup, which had become shamefully empty for at least thirty seconds of precious conversational time. “That’s better,” declared the miffed patron, “I’m  just useless without coffee! No matter! Now, Mr. Danton, you were inquiring upon the displacement?” Sitting across from the man with the addiction,  the Aurelian diplomat Hughes Danton furrowed his brow as he poured over an immense drawing spread out over the table.

“Professor De Grasse… I understand the Soiele-Royal-class battleships, barely… seven years old, displace around 11,000 tons in all? This displaces 35,000 tons! The Empire can construct such vessels of such displacement?” said Danton, eyes starting from his head.

“I think those slipways could accommodate 80,000 tons.” Danton sat back and absorbed the professor’s answer for a moment. De Grasse leaned over the table, pointing at the turrets as situated on the immense diagram. “It’s exactly what we need, based on what the President gave me last year. She will carry eight fifteen-inch guns, our own weapons. Meanwhile, on the main belt which is generous to our standards, thirteen inches; of Valdek steel that is, so more like fourteen to us I gather.” Danton, not one to be caught up in the specifics of aeronautical design nomenclature, replied:

“That’s within the terms the treaty established. Now, I know you could say much on the subject and do not doubt the breadth and width of your knowledge (if not, he privately reserved, his ego), but put simply, does she meet that incredible speed they offered us? Thirty-six knots, where the old Vengeur could do nineteen?” De Grasse chuckled.

“Thirty-six it is. The engines defy comprehension, I’ll admit I barely perceived it to be possible myself. But I watched their greatest dreadnoughts - that’s what they are called, you recall- fly at that speed. Our design will make that figure, as sure as there’s carts for horses!”

“I’ll pass this to the President, I am sure he’ll wire us with orders to build them shortly… Nothing like it, De Grasse, not in the service.” Danton picked up his own drink, a gin and tonic, from the giant spread of drawing-paper; revealing on the top-right, the design’s name:

The BUCENTAURE-class Dreadnought

pdiuXOxv8dicTtlra6atyyB7WA-6iKY61DkizdF3V8VFuCNSmtD-D49F_W5TF9KiKW3vRo6xg5cTmA_14Qpk6UJcGfEaOR4oPbxQpK9p_UetrpdrWxNJb5JCYiaU0lBR-2J9xKgl

Stats: x8 15-in “Mk. VII Howitzers”, 13in belt, 6.5 deck, 36 knots (30, cruise)

Bucentaure is the product of one critical aspect of the Double Alliance and the treaty that bore it. Custom-designed, this is the first dreadnought Aurelia will have in her fleet; the measurements made out in Aurelian units, the guns of Aurelian manufacture. Yet it’s without a doubt a product of the Empire of Valdek’s own methods and technologies; it will be built here, and the Navy certainly won’t be able to build one of its own unless there is serious dockyard expansion and reform. Already, the panicked Harbormasters of the main Aurelian naval shipyards are feverishly pouring over her draught in preparation for repairing them.

After brief negotiations, the Aurelian government orders the first - the Bucentaure herself. In addition, the Republic orders three Valdek-modified Glorie cruisers, which themselves are less radically different from their Aurelian sisters but again, are mostly Imperial designs, fitted with their technology.

It’s also clear that the nature of naval warfare is lightyears ahead of the close and personal dust-ups that defined the civil war. Cornielle, naturally, places his personal efforts into whipping his Navy into a frenzy over the anticipated arrival of these new ships. Once they arrive in the fleet, it’s planned the fleet will conduct rigorous exercises to retrain the august officer corps.

The Emmerian Deal

Aurelia makes contact with a sister republic in the Old World. The Republic of Emmeria and the Aurelian Republic sign their own treaty which stipulates a critical deal; Cornielle’s government will allow Emmeria to build their own Vitramite facilities, five in total, in sovereign Aurelian territory on the condition the production is split between them. The complicated deal occupies 153 pages of material, and takes two and a half hours to send over telegraph!

Emmeria also buys five shares from the Republican Bank, totalling to 10,000 each - 50,000.

-The loss of an Aurelian trading partner with the submission of Carrieux spurs a series of defensive measures on the border. A total of 275 howitzers, 100 of them being of the powerful Mk. VII 15-in gun, are installed in strategic locations; massed together in groups of four to ten in a given five-mile radius. A great number are camouflaged.

-The Republic pays 8,000 to the Westerfield Confederation for four battleships, transferred under the Aurelian naval standard; these warships, in addition to the two activated Aurelian battleships, are on high alert.

-Revolutionaire and one of the other Glorie-class cruisers begin to run patrols around the Aurelian border, using their high speed and maneuverability to perform extensive scouting operations for any unwanted foreign warships.

STEEL HORIZON

1895

In Gwangnan, war continues as Seki Kaigun forces continue their bold fight to liberate their homeland. The Seki Kaigun, taking their example from Adachi and his fellows, take no prisoners and Praharavkan soldiers quickly learn to fear and hate their foes.

Karakhwan raiding of international trade routes generates a heated international response - that international response being the direct involvement of Volta-Solvan. They deploy their first and second BC divisions to defend trade from the Karakhwans, taking up the mantle of “world police”.

For the most part, however, the year is a fairly peaceful one.

THE TRADE LEAGUE OF GALLIAN

Another year of quiet profits for Gallian…

THE PRAHARAVKAN FEDERATION

Pocket battleships will be ready for 1897.

The Lisenka upgrade will be available by 1896.

Dive bombers will be ready by 1898.

AT rifle will be ready for 1897.

FFARs will be ready for 1899.

Phosphorus munitions will be ready by 1901.

THE WESTERFIELD CONFEDERACY

Yemelyanovna eventually find a land, to the far south, of frigid and icy wastelands, with nothing and nobody but ice and penguins for miles around.

Air superiority fighters will be ready for 1897.

Battlecruisers will be available in 1899.

THE EMPIRE OF VALDEK

The Valdenians find that, whatever the opinion of the Emperor, the people seem to care little about who governs them. The territories are integrated, though the Emperor chafes at such infringement upon his nationhood.

To build a stock market to rival Volta-Solvan is not an overnight task, and early Valdenian stock brokers are a long way off from being able to compete.

Vuot will have the tanks available in 1898.

Super dreadnoughts will be available to the Valdenians by 1900.

Power armour upgrades will be available in 1902.

THE CARNELIAN SULTANATE

The KCP proves to be an amicable enough neighbour - they officially apologise for the actions of the Sultan, and gladly accept Carnelian aid.

The Klendari living in annexed regions appear to be cowed.

The Perzans, on the other hand, make their anger known with a series of nation stalling strikes, preventing any income being generated in the region from reaching the Treasury this year.

The PTSF arrive to find the area dominated by the Valdenians and the Bellicans.

The large calibre guns were ready in 1886….

THE KINGDOM OF BELLICA

Last Man Standing  proves to be a hit. Everyone loves an underdog! +10kG

Suicide is the next step in the bitter road of the Briartown-Venzywood feud. The film is trash, but it strikes a symbolic blow.

THE KARAKHWA

The temple will be complete by 1898, but already sacrifices and punishments are rolling in, as Cloud Hunter forces an unwilling populace to build her monument.

International trade lanes quickly fill with 7 Volta-Solvanese Battlecruisers, along with a screen of some 30 Destroyers. Karakhwan raiders are quickly driven off.

Though Cloud Hunter gains many sycophants, most among the Carrieux hate her with a bitter passion, and she finds little succour among their ranks - brainwashing or not.

THE GRAND PRINCIPALITY OF CUMBERLAND

The CSAC prove receptive to Cumberlandic diplomatic approaches, and are certainly not adverse to warming relations.

The land is redistributed to the poor, greatly increasing the popularity of the monarch, but also of his conservative supporters - ironically, the Conservatives are enraged by the action.

THE JUVERIN REPUBLIC

The tribals prove to be a good and unquestioning workforce. +1 output for up to 5 buildings in the Colony.

The P.22 upgrades will be ready by 1898.

THE AURELIAN REPUBLIC

An improved howitzer will be ready by 1889.

Fixed wing aircraft already exist, but an improved fight will be ready for 1896.

The Republic, with recent alliances and observations, will have access to dreadnoughts by 1897, as well as access to a better cruiser.

THE REPUBLIC OF EMMERIA

A quiet year for Emmeria, even as war once again engulfs their neighbours.

THE VENZEATIC LEAGUE

AT rifles will be ready for 1897.

Smoke shells will be ready for 1896.

TIERRA ROJA

Once again the world’s greatest sporting event takes place in the most violent fashion imaginable!

Westerfield Federation

Across the burgeoning Federation were the new States of the Federation. The storm has calmed after a year of politics and voting. The Confederacy though founded on sound ideals, was flawed. Every little power and acre of land had it’s own mayor. Factions could hold up hundreds of acres of land to their discretion. What President Levander Bixby was calling for was complete Federal reform. And with the support of the Army, especially Brayden, and the Senate, things seemed good. Westerfield will never give up it’s core of freedom. But the time had come to regulate and officialize their great nation. States will be formed out of the local regions in fair manners. Each state will have the rights to regulate and make policy within their boundaries. But all will inherently answer to the new Federal Government in Rork’s Ridge. Votes are expected in an entire new round this year. State and Federal government seats were fully open. President Bixby got what he wanted, but now it was anyone’s game on the road to Federal power.

Alycscicy.png?width=400&height=172

In far more simple terms Lieutenant Kazim Hussametin arrives at the Pact colonial city of “Emmeria’s Shame”. General Brayden had personally requested he came to the city to lead. Bedecked in T-90 armor, the General was a fearsome sight. He and a coterie of officers and quartermasters are soon establishing operations in former Emmerian barracks. The local population was rather simple, but still a pool of manpower. Likely candidates amidst the men and even women will be drafted into arms. Hussametic grimly promises freedom, training, and a place in the glorious Federal Army.  As thousands of raw recruits march in circles around the city, weapons of war are built within....

7c07363e124bf29bfc9d657bc253409f.jpg

General Kalinina Olena Yemelyanovna is on a far more uncertain mission. Her expedition last year had actually managed to find land. But it was a frozen Arctic tundra. Regardless it was claimed in the Pacts name, but seemed fruitless. For now she leaves behind a detachment of Troops and Scouts. They will be left to build a small outpost. Kalinina has her eyes on what she could of possibly missed on her travels. Armed Convoy Baracuda will return home from the Artic this year. But instead of following their original course, they head east. Their plan is to take a gradual arc east back home, to cover even more unknown holes in their maps.

The Light Infantry at the Arctic base of ‘Walcots Pride’ set to exploring. In heavy winter gear, they utilize dogs and sleds to get around. They will search around their base camp, to see if their is anything of value. Besides the penguins that is, which also double as a food source.

[Mod Please] Carriers

An entirely new innovation for the Navy in Westerfield. The Admiralty wanted ships capable of bringing fighters with them into the skies. This was just the start of their ambitious program. One day Terrex Naval Yards wanted to blend Battlecruiser and Carrier. But that is for the future!
