But sometimes you just manage to find such a thing, and Zakopane is definetly one them. It may not be big, but those who stumble by it, near always get a cozy and homey feeling, no matter time of day, be that summer or winter alike. Offering shelter from harsh weather, rest from long marches, all acording to Radaghastian traditions and believes. ”Bread and salt – Common way to greet someone in your home, or to show Radaghastian hospitality.” ᛡᛜᛡ Citizens of Zakopane are mostly either Radaghastians, those who show interest in their culture, or are closest allies of Piastdom. Wandering the streets with sabers by their belts, drinking vodka and ale, letting loose of their language that is heavily affected by Vistulian heritage, children of Radaghast seem to be the furthest you can get from common human nobility. They are not afraid to get dirty, and even their leader stands on equal ground to all other citizens, doing same work as them. Even though that this place is mostly dominated by humans, they seem to accept most other races in, as long as they follow what laws are there, and do not disrespect traditions. “Hvala w tiezka rabota - Commonly translated to “Take pride in hard work.” ᛡᛜᛡ Due to their culture, most common faith is Viara Treh, one that came to existance along with origin of Radaghastians, where the name of this kin even came from – the allfather Radaghast. With patron deity of Zakopane being Giewont, the awoken mountain, they seek to co-exist with nature, rathen than to remove it from their lives as many other humans do. One and most important part of the culture that lives within Tatra region, is their strong bond to horses. Each citizen of Zakopane seems to have a horse, taking care of it as good as it’s only possible, being extremly skilled riders, able to use this knowledge both in war and in everyday requirements. “Pravdi tre. To find Zakopane, you have to enter through one of the many valleys, seeking to find heart of the land, vast open valley.
