Treaty 1349 Share Posted March 19, 2020 The Chronicles of Almenor The Documentation of Almenorian Current Events _-= 1760 =-_ A New Beginnings Years since the original Chronicle of Almenor was published in 1753, the news press tucked away in the dusty corner of the Almenorian Library has been readied once more. Due to the reestablishment of The Library of Aegrothond under Head Librarian Edrahil Sylvaeri, The Chronicles of Almenor have returned to keep the citizens of Elvenesse informed about life under The Crown. Produced and written by Head Librarian Edrahil Sylvaeri, The Chronicles of Almenor shall furthermore be an extension of the Maehr’evar and their duties within the scholarly field. Any questions about The Chronicles of Almenor can be sent to Edrahil Sylvaeri. A new edition of The Chronicles can be expected every Elven Week with the latest events under The Crown of Elvenesse. Establishment of The Library of Aegrothond The Entryway into The Library of Aegrothond Left idle and empty as life continued around it, The Library of Aegrothond was without purpose for many years, only being revitalized an Elven Week ago. Under the new guidance of Edrahil Sylvaeri, the once abandoned and dusty shelves now share a new life, bestowing dozens of newly stocked books, with many more to come. Books ranging from history, to magic, to musical guides, to short stories line the shelves, available for all to peak their heads into. Copies of the books can be obtained at the Head Librarian’s discretion, yet will not be permitted to be sold. Within The Almenorian Library, knowledge is free of charge. Any donations of books or relics are welcome, and can be left in the donation chest outfront of the library. With the revitalization of the library comes many new opportunities for those interested in the scholarly field. The Maehr’evar, The Scholarly Guild incharge of the library, is expected to go through a phase of reformations led by Edrahil before opening its rank back to the public. No estimated time table can be given for when this is expected to finish, but it will be announced when ready. Let The Barrels Roll A crowd gathered at the Bar within The Drunken Boar Tavern Closed for renovations due to new management, The Drunken Boar has reopened its doors to the citizens of Aegrothond, showing off a revamped design and a brand new menu. Aerilith Oakenarrow, the new owner of The Drunken Boar, hopes to give those who stop by the tavern a good time, and a good drink. When asked about the goal of the tavern under his management, Aerelith was quoted saying, “I wish to provide morale to the people. A place to come together after a long day of work or a consuming battle and just take a moment of relief”. The new management also comes with a new variety of goods, including both domestic and exotic brews. The best part of such, being their extremely low prices. When asked about their pricing, Aerelith said, “Why charge Minas for a smile? I only ask for the minimum to be able to restock my inventory”. A respectable policy to live by indeed. Next time you’re in the mood for a good story and a great drink, stop by The Drunken Boar. Brewing Beyond the Tavern Recently announced under The Crown of Elvenesse was the return of a practical guide rarely seen in today’s society: The Alchemists Guild. Headed by Laerean Sylvaeri and Saevel, the pair aims to focus on the basics of alchemy rather than the extremes used today. By going back to the basics, The Guild seeks to teach aspiring alchemists while expanding upon their own knowledge. Due to their new appearance in Aegrothond, what is to be expected of them is unknown, yet great things are to be expected. Reach out to either Laerean or Saevel for more information, or if you would like to join.

Norgeth 1058 Share Posted March 19, 2020 Ougor would attempt to read the paper "Ougor not know how to read funny squiggles..." he'd frown and walk away, wondering what the paper said
