The 'Birth' of Yemekar and the creation of The Forge: According to the Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun

The ‘Birth’ of Yemekar and the creation of The Forge

 

Olkodran is the abyss that was prior to Yemekar’s creations, and into which the mortal realms will collapse in the end of days if the Paragons are not discovered and the Promised Land is not achieved. This would be done to stop Khorvad from spreading to the other realms.

Olkodran was once in the shape of Chaos while Yemekar was the Unn. The Unn being a power of balance created an entity for itself so it could consciously achieve this balance. In this way Yemekar created himself. To keep this balance Yemkar caged the Olkodran into what would become his forge. The Olkodran  would be free to continue to exist and to fulfill its purpose inside the forge fueling it with great power.

Eventually the descendants were able to borrow power from the Olkodran. These were the first voidal mages. Individuals that could use the power of the void in the mortal planes. Despite the Olkodran not being good or evil as it is a cosmic force as much as the Unn, its use should be limited to mortals. The Olkodran can be used as a tool to achieve balance in the mortal worlds and at the same time it can be used as a tool to disbalance the worlds. An example of a way to use the Olkodran to keep balance would be to use it to destroy undead (Dungrimm’s Balance). However, using the Olkodran with something like transfiguration to transmute vapor into water to water plants is actually damaging to the balance (Anbella’s Balance). The reason for this is because the Olkodran and the Unn cannot exist in the same space at the same time. This is why voidal magic is so damaging to natural spaces.

 

[!] Like an uncontrolled fire, the uncontrolled Olkodran can cause catastrophic wounds on creation.

 

Because of this in the Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun does not allow Olkodran users into their ranks.  Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun will still teach them how to use divination to the best of their abilities and will recommend them to join another religious organization like the Kirkja Dverga or the Ar Yemarin Anaros. This is because Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun is an order that is based on being able to find oneness with Yemekar’s creation, something that is not possible while manipulating the Olkodran. However, the Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun understands the possible use for the manipulation of the Olkodran in extreme cases against Khorvad and other evil beings. This is why the Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun recommends these individuals remain in the path of the Brathmordakin through other organizations.

 

 Through this creed may we find enlightenment.

Can you add some mythology about the sparks of Yemekar’s forge, or the flecks of metal that were scraped off by his hammer? I think they would be great mythological entities for people to play around with; they could be cool golems or fire elemental like creatures.
