AGOZ’S WRATH

Travellers tell of ill-fated warriors twisted by the fates, those who had so desperately sought true wrath to slay their enemies and vanquish their foes. Tales of swordsmen and knights who partook of a twisted and cruel concoction first brewed by an exceptionally cruel elf; an ichor-like substance smelling of spice, crimson like that of raging blood, a mixture which brought even the most level headed to lack distinction between friend and foe.

LESSER

RECIPE

Base: Blood

- Fire x1 (Any)

- Rage 3x

- Vigour x2

- Rigidity x2

CREATION

- The only particular process in this elixir’s creation is that one boils the end product of the mixture above an open flame for up to four narrative hours. Once this is completed, the contents gains a mild reddish glow, along with a seemingly constant bubbling effect.

EFFECTS

Upon consumption of the brew, the imbiber is overcome with a nigh-uncontrollable anger, nearly convulsing with rage to be taken out against the world. For a single turn, the consumer will find their veins to pop out, their muscles seizing as their face is overtaken by reddened fury. After this brief bout of reaction, the imbiber must /roll 20, and, on rolling an eight or below, will be forced to target the closest individual -- friend or foe, regardless of circumstance. Should they manage to roll above this number, they may maintain just enough willpower to focus their wrath on a particular target. Should there be no significant target in a circumstance, the individual will be forced to take their wrath out upon objects such as tables, walls, and so on for the span of six emotes. Once this amount of time has passed, the consumer will experience an extreme crash and intense fatigue, and upon the second consecutive consumption of the elixir, their heart would give out.

REDLINES

- Does not give any form of strength benefit.

- Dodging or the use of other sorts of reflexes is quite difficult while under the influence of this elixir as it lowers one’s reflexive capacity.

- The effects of fatigue following the consumption of the elixir must be roleplayed, being equivalent to two times the natural exertion one inflicted during the frenzy. Upon the consumption of the second elixir, one may find themselves to collapse from exhaustion.

- This lesser form is a T2 brew and requires ST signing.

GREATER

RECIPE

Base: Blood

- Fire x3 (Any)

- Rage 5x

- Vigour x3

- Heat x2

- Instability x2

- Strength x3

- Four Tablespoons of Sugar

CREATION

- Similarly to the lesser variant, the elixir must be boiled over an open flame for up to four narrative hours after its initial concoction.

EFFECTS

Upon consumption, the imbiber will be overtaken by severe convulsive movement for up to two turns afterwards as their spine arches backward, their eyes are overtaken by bloodshot, convulsing further. Once this period of time has ended, the consumer will be completely overtaken, having no control over their own actions as they have gone completely berserk, their strength boosted twofold. They are completely unable to discern friend from foe and will lash out at and attack everything and everyone within their immediate proximity. This rage will last for up to ten emotes before subsiding, the individual then completely exhausted and prevented from doing more than little physical exertion. Attempting to consume this brew even a second time would be too much for the individual, causing them to go into cardiac arrest and thus perish.

REDLINES

- Effects are not immediate and the consumer must take at least two emotes after consuming for the effects to take place, unable to attack or retaliate as their body adjusts to the sudden changes from the potion. This does not count for the potion’s duration.

- The strength benefit given from this is a single boost of the individual’s strength. Halflings will go to human levels; other descendant will go to orc; orc will go to olog; etc. Strength will never exceed olog capacity even if an olog consumes the concoction. The strength lasts only for ten emotes before vanishing along with the other effects.

- Once the potion’s effects wear off, the user will be incredibly weakened, unable to effectively fight for up to two OOC hours after the encounter. Use of the potion a second time will cause their heart to give out and they will die.

- The individual will be completely unable to dodge blows or attacks while under the influence of this potion, only able to attack directly.

- The individual cannot choose between friend or foe and will attack all individuals within the immediate proximity for the duration of the potion.

- This concoction must be taught by one who understands the recipe and may be concocted by a T3 alchemist. Requires ST signing.

Does this mean that beyond its first ingestion, this concotion may never be imbibed a second time? If not, I am personally dubious of strength sources that are exempt from true consequence, like a PK on death clause, without which there is a lot left to be desired. Nobody wants to face a practically immortal (thanks to monks) individual with power to indefinitely consume a potion that heightens strength twofold.
