Welcome to Zarion Jayamen's Piano Academy. Here we learn the piano, learn songs, play in bands, and more! This is part of The Jayamen Community Center.

Here at Zarion Jayamen's Piano Academy, we offer Free lessons, Band support, and more. We offer free lessons for beginners to experts on the piano. It is easy to learn, even with no musical skill, though that helps. There are 5 ranks that someone can get at this academy for both The Grand piano and The Grand Master Piano. They are Beginner, Novice, journeyman, advanced, and teacher. When you get a rank, you will get an official paper stating you are at that level. The Grand Piano is ideal for beginners, The Grand Master Piano is a fair deal harder, but allows more songs to be played.

 

Beginner

 

This rank is given to those just starting the piano, when you get the basics down, then you move to Novice.

 

Novice

 

At this level you can play simple songs, get the timing right, and are working towards more complex ones.

 

Journeyman

 

At this level you can play complex songs, have the timing right, and are working towards being able to improvise as you play.

 

Advanced

At this level you can play advanced songs and also improvisation.

 

Teacher 

 

Journeyman to Advanced students can also teach if given permission by Zarion Jayamen.

 

 

We also can have our students form bands. if you are interested, please let Zarion Jayamen (( Sofetios )) know. we have a place to practice and perform. If you need music to perform, you can ask Zarion to help make a few songs.
 

 

 

Want to perform a concert? Just ask Zarion and he will set up the stage for it, as well as a time and date if wanted. An entry fee for concerts can also happen if wanted and you'll earn some of the minas.

The Jayamen Community Center Band

 

 

 

Students are highly suggested to have at least 1 lesson an saints week as well as perform at the recital. ((recitals are on saturdays EST. Times for each Saturday will vary.))

 

We are also looking for members for The Center Band. We will play often. We need a bass pianist, accompaniment pianist, and a drummer.

 

If you wish to know how to make a piano, tune it, and read songbooks for it. You will need the book The Piano Guide. More info on songbooks and the piano guide below in The Piano Store section.

 

Lessons in person for all the songs is free. Playing the pianos at The Jayamen Community Center is free as well. For playing at the community center, ask a staff member there for permission. After you get that you can play whenever.

THE PIANO STORE

 

Buying things here is for if you want to have songbooks and pianos for yourself. Lessons from a teacher in person at the community center and playing the piano at the community center are always free.

 

The Piano Guide and Songbooks are sold on Floor 3 of The Jayamen Community Center in Helena, 4 Pontias Place. ((currently there is a bug with selling written books. Talk to Zarion Jayamen   (( Sofetios )) to get them.

 

The first thing to buy is The Piano Guide. It covers how to make a piano, tune it, types of sounds it can make, and also how to read songbooks. YOU NEED TO BUY THIS AND READ

IT BEFORE BUYING SONGBOOKS! It costs 300 minas in the shop on floor 3 of The Jayamen Community Center. All song books at the moment are for The Grand Piano, NOT THE GRAND MASTER PIANO.
