Queen Mother, Viktoria Barbanov would smile as she read the paper a final time, folding up her copy, and setting it next to the gravestone of her late husband, King Sigismund II, who had dreamed of a Haense that had no limits, and could be itself free of the ideals and wishes of someone above them.

Aleksandr Renault’s smoky gaze squints at the paper, as he reads through it in Norland’s tavern, his eyesight clearly deteriorated due to his age. The man swiveled his head from side to side, contemplating his thoughts as he began talking to himself. “I’m sure your Grandfather is absolutely.. thrilled, wherever the old coot may be.He sat the paper down on a table, beginning to advance towards a lower balcony, leaning forwards as a smirk appears on his face as he takes in the fresh air of the Norlandic breeze.Peace in our time, I suppose.”

Levian’Tol Grandaxe sits behind the bar of The Ruined Runesmith when a copy of the treaty reaches him. He would pick it up and take it near a candle to read. It wouldn’t take long for him to frown remembering all the Highlander blood spilt during the days of the AIS when Haense knelt to the Heartlanders. He would continue to read the treaty coming upon the agreement for Norland to foresake the name ‘The Highland Realm’ prompty lighting the copy aflame ”Teh Fock were t’ey t’inkin.”
