THE CASTES SYSTEM OF HEFRUMM

What are Castes?
Castes are a way Hefrumm uses to collect and protect their resources as effectively as possible so that they can bring as much good to the community as possible.

How to Join a Caste?
You can join a caste by contacting the High Chief or the Primarch of the Caste.

How many Castes are there?
There are four main tasks that work in gathering important resources of Hefrumm. More can be created if the need ever shows up.

The Castes of Hefrumm:

The Hereder caste is the caste of the Silver Ram. For those in Hefrumm with deep connections to animals. Anbella has taught us to treat animals with care, so we can be rewarded. This caste includes but is not limited to; Sheepherders, ranchers, Breeders, and butchers.

Tasks (MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON NEW LEGISLATION)

Protection of Resources
The Herder caste is expected to protect the resources of their caste by whichever means the law of Hefrumm and Urguan allows.

Keeping track of animals
This caste is responsible for the numbering of animals and the hunting of wild game.

Collector of Resources
The Herder caste is expected to collect the resources attributed to the caste by whichever means the law of Hefrumm and Urguan allows.

Processor of Resources
The Herder caste is expected to process the resources attributed to the caste by whichever means the law of Hefrumm and Urguan allows.

Distribution of Resources
The Herder caste is expected to help distribute the resources attributed to Hefrumm from the amount collected.

Payment and ownership (MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON NEW LEGISLATION)

The Caste has a right to ⅔ of whatever they produce. ⅓ of it will go to Hefrumm’s public funds. Anything that cannot be divided into singular objects/locations of importance will be property of the Caste.

The Caste owns the means of production in the name of Hefrumm. This means that the tools used to gain the resources are under general ownership of the Caste.

Hierarchy

High Chief
The High Chief of Hefrumm has the power to appoint the Herder Primarch. When there is no one available to lead the Caste efficiently, leadership of the Caste falls on the High Chief of Hefrumm.

Chiefs and Folk
Chiefs and the Folk have power in their repective councils to create and take down laws of Hefrumm. Through this the councils have indirect power over the Castes.

Herder Primarch
The Herder Primarch is the representative of the caste, and responsible for its actions during his/her term. The Primarch can be invited to leave from his/her position through a majority vote by the Chiefs’ Council, alternatively the High Chief can demand the Primarch to resign. A Primarch cannot lead more than one caste.

When it comes to any decisions made surrounding a resource of the Caste the Primarch receives one vote in the Chiefs’ Council. The Primarch rank is the Highest rank a non-dwarf can achieve in Hefrumm.

The Herder Primarch has the power to accept new members into the Caste. In this same note, the Herder Primarch can ban an individual from the caste if the Primarch is able to gain a majority vote in the Folk or Chiefs’ Council, or alternatively the approval of the High Chief.

Herder caste members
The Herder Caste is one of the Casts opened to any being in the known world. Being in the Herder caste places the members of the caste under the command of the Herder Primarch when it comes to the collection, use, and distribution of resources. Members of the Herder Caste are allowed to be members of other castes as long as their involvement in the other caste does not hinder Hefrumm.

Non-Members
Non-Members need permission of the Primarch to use the resources of the caste. The Primarch is allowed to use this ability to gain benefits as long as it does not go against the law of Urguan or Hefrumm.
