Almonds taste a bit different than pistacheos, almonds feel a bit waxy whereas pistacheos feel a bit more crunchy, which I prefer.

pistachios and almonds both have great versatility

almonds can be used to make almond flour and almond milk as well as other almond substitutes for carbohydrate-rich things, so vegans and vegetarians are more prone to making the almond choice. also, almond has a high amount of protein, fibre, and has nutrients such as vitamin E, and vitamin Bs [particularly biotin, which is helpful for those who experience hair loss or hair thinnage, as biotin has been proven to improve the overall thickness and health of your hair]

zinc, selenium, magnesium and calcium are all also important vitamins found in almonds, which all have profound benefits of their own. almonds also have saline, which has a painkiller-like effect. almonds are used in recipes such as macarons. almonds are effective as flour substitutes due to the fact that they don't contain any gluten, and so anyone with a gluten allergy needs things such as almond flour. almonds have both savoury and sweet functions.

pistachios have similar nutrients to almonds, however also contain potassium. whilst almonds have versatility in minor dessert dishes, macarons and vegan substitutes, pistachios are able to be used across many more sweet dishes than almonds, but also have occasional savoury uses, such as being a good crust for seared lamb, for example. pistachios are amazing in ice cream, are used in a variety of Mediterranean dessert dishes such as baklawa, kanafeh, et cetera

due to nutrient content being high in both, but overall versatility of use going to pistachios, pistachios win this no doubt. this is a matter of fact, not opinion

pistachio's because they're green and almonds have that gross skin layer on them which gets stuck in the teeth
