Appearance

Segradien is the Aengul of Honor, Oaths, and Commitment, taking the form of a humanoid made entirely of light - having no face, or any other physical features for that matter. In reality however, Segradien's true form is an abundance of small beings made completely of light. They are binded together in absolute unison, the complete companionship; as such, their sex is unknown and they along with their followers refer to themselves collectively as ‘we’. It is generally accepted that Segradien is a hive-minded plethora of beings, some going as far as to say that each being is an Aengul in of itself - however these simply remain theories and speculation.

Origin

Although considered a more neutral aengul, Segradien considers any being who disrespects their domain an enemy - that refers to oathbreakers, the dishonorable, and whomever betrays their own companion. As such, Segradien held a personal grudge against Iblees. Segradien is not a warrior, utilizing their power to only support their own companions - allowing them acute buffs and boons to assist them along their way.

During Iblees' first appearance, Segradien stayed alongside his fellow Aenguls in quelling the darkness - even going as far as to grant blessings to their mortal followers to assist in their fight. Segradien hoped that in the end, Iblees would face execution for his crimes against his brethren and the mortals - when this did not happen, Segradien felt betrayed and as such, felt torn between both the Aenguls and Daemons. Part of them felt that although Iblees had been halted and his threat vanquished, it was not enough to ensure lasting peace - while the other part felt that his imprisonment was enough.

Once Iblees appeared again on Aegis, the part of Segradien whom fell to be daemonic(referred to as ‘Sulmaehr’) had been weakened, only holding half the power of Segradien. As such, they were easily corrupted by Iblees and began to bestow curses upon the mortals. These curses rendered the blessings of Segradien worthless, causing many casualties to their followers. After Iblees was defeated again, Sulmaehr was cured of their corruption - however, they strove to allow the cursing of their own followers lest they brought dishonor to Segradien by breaking their codes. They remained torn for centuries until  pressured by Xan, the Aengul of Order to compromise by implying that the Aenguls would try them collectively for the crimes of Sulmaehr.

“Thou hath become torn, dishonorable - no longer holding the standing you once had. Such mortal acts have caused disorder amongst our kin, as Iblees had done. As a collaborator of Iblees, you shall be tried collectively should this feud continue for a century longer.”

-

Xan, the Aengul of Order

And as such, Segradien pledged an oath to themselves - cursing followers whom dishonor their name and blessing those whom work devoutly in their favor. Should this promise be broken(in the case they exemplify anyone from these terms), Segradien shall forfeit their existence entirely.

The domain of Segradien, called 'the Garden of Magni', is a quite simple domain, as it is infact inspired by the Creator himself! It is a bountiful island in the middle of what seems to be an endless galaxy full of celestial bodies. Segradien is a large follower of the creator, adoring the way these celestial bodies and the life which inhabits them work in cooperation with one another - an incomparable peace that mortals can only dream of. It is said that those believers granted blessings by Segradien during life are granted everlasting peace within the garden after death.

Honor and oaths is sort of Malleus' domain, if memory serves...though with more of a vengeance based vibe.

Lol I totally forgot of his existence, thanks for reminding me.

This lore has been denied.
As we push forward through pantheon we've decided that we aren't looking for new Deities and will be doing the updates as a team. This piece overlaps with a few currently existing deities aswell, making a redundancy to exist within the lore. In any case, Thank you for your submission however, have a good day.
