The Northern Geographical Society is pleased to announce that a grand opening will be held on Vzmey ag Hynk, 355,  at their newest location in Karosgrad at Wailer’s Way IV. Events and Festivities will be held as we open up our newest never before seen exhibits of Natural History and Great Women of  Human History. This event is not to be missed!

 

Natural History Exhibit

An exhibit containing a collection of works containing information on the earliest exploration missions launched in Almaris. Delve deep into the history of ruins, crypts, and biomes that have been extensively researched by our team. Uncover mysteries and gain knowledge on the flora and fauna that inhabit our new land.

 

Great Women of Human History Exhibit

Explore the influence of some of the most powerful and important women through the earliest times in Human history. Read about their individual stories and enjoy viewing life-sized realistic busts of these important individuals.

 

Timetable

Ribbon cutting and introduction - At the start of this event, the President of the NGS, along with the Lord Palatine, will share some words as an introduction to this event. Once the speeches are complete, they will cut the ribbon and allow everyone inside for a grand reveal of all of our prepared exhibits including the two featured ones listed above.

Independent or Guided tour - following the grand introduction, curators and NGS staff will be available for question-answering or explanation based on the available exhibits. A guided tour will be held, but everyone is welcome to explore at their own pace.

Games - Games will be held by the new Director of Personal Relations following the tour where everyone is welcome to participate. Details are found below: 

• Natural History Scavenger hunt - An educational scavenger hunt featuring replicas of artifacts from a number of our natural history displays. Participants will be asked to pay an entry fee of five mina, where they will then explore the city of Karosgrad to locate all five items. The winner will be the person who returns to the museum first with the location of each item on their score sheet, and they will win all of the entry fees along with a special NGS product suited to the game. (5 mina entry, winner wins the pot + a lored item)
• Great Women of Human History Trivia - Participants will gather at the basement of the NGS museum for a trivia night based on our featured ‘women of history’ exhibit. There is a 5 mina entry fee, similar to the above, and players will have a chance to be the first to answer the given trivia questions. The winner who manages the most correct answers will win the pot of mina as well as a special NGS product suited to the game. (5 mina entry, winner wins the pot + a lored item)

Raffle - 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase all evening with a base pot price of 100 mina (meaning the winner will at least receive 50 mina). Each ticket costs 10 mina to purchase and a winner will be drawn once the festivities have drawn to a close.
