PONTIFICAL RESPONSE TO

The Pied Piper: Viperam Sub Ala Nutricare

By Beatrice Virosi

In lights of this publication, His Holiness the High Pontiff Owyn III wishes to respond publicly to the allegations levied.

An election that faced administrative difficulties pertaining to Cyril Cardinalis Borealis' vote, and the chaotic transition that followed after the Papal enthronement of 1802, had caused the unfortunate misjudgement of His Holiness to make this mistake in his First Golden Bull.

Although other allegations in the publication are false, and merely theatrics, it is pertinent of any good Canonist to recognize his mistake wherever he may make it. Therefore, His Holiness the High Pontiff shall reinstate Johan Cardinalis Vuiller to the now Sextarchy of the Holy Mother Church.

It is indeed true that His Holiness had, from the capacity of Premier of Kaedrin & Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa, published writings to the people of Hanseti-Ruska. These are however older than forty years, and as such, do not represent the opinions and worldview of His Holiness who, as of now, resides in Karosgrad. Furthermore, His Holiness had greatly expanded the representation of Haeseni clergy within the Holy Mother Church, and relaxed its ecclesiastical doctrines to allow the restoration of the Ruskan rite under careful guidance. Actions speak louder than words.

His Holiness wishes to conclude this response by a sincere apology to Johan Cardinalis Vuiller, and shall in the future remain more vigilant in its proceedings and administration. Further deliberation regarding the college of cardinals shall be discussed in the First Diet of Albarosa on ((Saturday 5PM EST)) with the invited clergy.

Butler Albert de Perra sent the High Pontiff, without his signature and anything on the letter which can show his identity, a picture.

would look to the letter as it was delivered to him raising a brow as he sat with his children "This has been a rather interesting week, though i would have wished for these news to be given in person or by letter before it where announced to the rest of the world.." the now once more Cardinal would think to himself still a grin growing on his face.

“An honest error swiftly rectified,” Mother Roxelana intoned, partaking in an alleviating breath. “How fortunate we are to have a High Pontiff so earnest and forthright with his flock to guide us through these times.”

The Vice Chancellor nodded in approval at seeing the response, "An error handled through humility. A good thing. May we work in unity now that this is rectified to ensure a most peaceful transition as we ready the Church to once more guide it's flock through the Prophetic Authority of the Laurel." he said to a nearby Acolyte before placing the notice down and returning to work in his small office at the Basilica.

"Seems like everyone wants a piece of that brilliant bastard." Spoke Richard Victor from his rocking chair, staring out at Redenford below from his Cabin in the mountains. "Good luck dear Laurence; feed that ol' racehorse Annie' a few sugar cubes on my behalf." he chuckles, completely senile at this point, talking as if the Pontiff sat right there next to him.

"An insult to our Queen can not so easily be brushed aside." Remarked Hubert.

Goren signs the Lorraine “A weak man may hide himself away, and in silence hold his mistakes close. A strong man confesses his errors. His Holiness has proven not just the humility of the Church, but her strength! I stand beside you, your Holiness, and shall preserve the unity and sanctity of the Church.”

“Kaedreni Scum! should’ve ended the lot of ye a long time ago! Too brainless to maintain a damned kingdom and too spineless to stand up fer ‘em selves!” Sigmar Baruch would be enraged at the insult of his granddaughter.

"Last I checked, the Queen is not a donkey. You should watch yourself insulting our Queen in the middle of our city in such a way." replied Hubert.

"And what about the steed he called Anne? What about the alleged bastards and the ilk? Why isn't he saying anything about that, these are harsh accusations. If anything, this response merely makes him look more guilty. He shamed two powerful women little girls look up to. It is shameful to think of what kind of picture this Pointiff draws for the Holy Mother Church..." A bystander uttered upon seeing His 'Holinesses' response.
