A simple poster is planted on some, few boards around the Holy orenian empire, and other states of the world. (See below)

I am Ba'lok Zhao. I am alone with only one other of our chosen race with me. Join us, there are so few of us left.

Yongheng-Hexie, a light-purple furball of a Hou-Zi showed the notice to her cousin, tail swishing back and forth as she'd point out what was said, the duo discussing it afterwards. @Rapture

A robed monk who looked as if he hadn't eaten in weeks simply scoffed at the notice. His frail, sinewy limbs dragging him onward, and his knuckles bleached in blood. The hou read over the notice for many moments, before turning and leaving in the same lethargic fashion that he had come in. "Disgusting. Hou-kind throw down culture... join empire." he shook his head, a sigh of disappointment retreating from his breath. "There is no fixing this broken people." the creature croaked, his voice raspy and uneven; it would seem as though it was long since the last time he had a conversation.

The red-skinned Hou’ calmly picked up the notice, turning it around a few times to discover the correct way to read it. Tears formed at the corners of his hunger-paned eyes the discovery he was no longer alone was rather a comforting feeling. However, a wave of disappointment came over him, the thought of their culture being overshadowed by the distasteful empire. The mixed emotions caused him to rip up the parchment, throwing its remnants back onto the street.

Similar posters are also pinned on the Southern part of the continent, and western forests. It would, if not for some other reason, seem the Hou-zi in question didn't only look inside the Holy orenian empire for his missing brethren.

A white-tufted Hei-zhu took the parchment within its giant grasp, setting it aside to read with a narrowed, red gaze. "Hou . . . Join empire? Seems . . . Untraditional. Fenghou is afraid of our distant cousins," she'd mutter, tossing it aside with a shake of her head.
