[!] Across the lands, an unsigned missive would spread by the hands of the Skeptics of Owyn. Be it found before it was torn off of a tavern bulletin, from the hands of a believer, or strewn about the lands of Oren and Haense, it would read as follows. [!]

Depiction of Cyril’s detention in the Cathedral of Providence. 12 of the Sun’s Smile, 1803

Fair flock near and far, let it be known that Cyril Cardinal St. Publius has been arrested for simple trespass for giving a sermon in the Cathedral of Providence.

Political powers are at play, as one Ed Myre interrupted him to contradict the case against Laurence Pruvia-Albarosa (himself styled as Owyn III) as it was laid bare that he was in violation of Canon Law. Not meant to incite trouble, it was meant to assuage concern, as it disqualifies him from his office and makes necessary the election of a new High Pontiff. This relief was short lived, however.

To our fair people’s chagrin, rather than addressing this, one Manfried Cardinal St. Julia had him arrested for being in the Church without his permission. How petty our Church has become, as it persecutes those who seek justice and virtue within the Holy House.

Such is another political game, as in Canon Law, all Canonists are allowed access to the Church. What temporal authority the Pontificate held is absent at the moment, as the office is claimed by someone who holds its laws and verdicts in contempt.

Let all know that the pretender, Owyn III, not only has brought upon his own ruination, but wishes now to bring it about the entirety of the Church. Unable to assert his own authority, he relies now on secular power to silence the truth of his misdeeds.

Take heart though fair people - for if it is not the first trial that our fair Cardinal St. Publius has been triumphant in. For soon, it will not be Cyril’s condemnation, but that wicked Owyn’s that will be brought to light.

We fair people of the Canon Church lay bare his own Crimes against Canon Law:

Though the issues of the day - of the years now still weighed heavily upon him, Cyril's spirit was not broken. For there was a light shining in the darkness, that light being GOD.

An old raev warrior, Janislav, flipped through records hurriedly, attempting to find documentation for a cloud-temple monk church-physician. Failing in that regard, he stared at the sky, overwhelmed as he contemplated his powerlessness before the what must have been the intervention of the sky-gods. For what else could have saved the life of a pontiff, whose corpse had been paraded in the streets? How could he keep faith?

"Didn't the Pontiff do that?" Muttered a old Ludovar

“Exciting.” Says an Old Knight, laughing slightly at the drama playing out in the Church.

Bishop Otho of Valwyck would say after reading the document at a gathered crowd in Karosgrad "Cyril.. a schismatic and a liar! How is he considered a true Canonist? He was so eager to have a trial, because he had it all planned with that Goren. He rushed the trial, not postponing it untill a proper persecution could attend, leaving me, an inexperianced persecutor to represent the Holy Mother Church. Goren and Cyril had it all planned!" would pause for a second "Loving or hating our Holy Father is irrelevant. His ascention to the position of High Pontiff is true and blessed by the Godani! Those that deny it are blind or ambitious men and women. If he doesnt repent, may he burn at the pyre. God's justice is grand!"
