Treaty of Hyspia

13th of Sun's Smile, 7 SA

As agreed upon by all signatories;

It is on this date that Prince Antonio de Rivera and Bishop Francisco Altamirano have negotiated and agreed on a peaceful resolution to the internal theater of Hyspian and Canonist tensions. Upon a meeting in the Barony of Osanora, the two leaders have agreed upon the following:

Spoiler

The House of Altamirano will cease their claim of being the 'True Hyspians' and will recognize Prince Antonio's sovereignty over Hyspia.

The Principality of Hyspia will allow the House of Altamirano and their followers to leave Hyspia peacefully.

Warriors of both House Altamirano and Hyspia will no longer actively seek out the opposing party to either insult or trade blows.

The House of Altamirano will cease to be a noble house under Hyspia.

While this treaty settles the internal matters of the Principality of Hyspia, Prince Antonio still holds the demand that the Pontiff/his regency revoke any past insults, Excommunications, and dissent officiated against the Principality within one year.

Signature of the Treaty is given by;

Antonio De Rivera, Prince of Hyspia, Heir to the Throne, and Restorer of the Hyspian Folk

Francisco Altamirano, Bishop of the Canonist Church, and Leader of House Altamirano

Adelric raises a brow towards the Hyspians as they do not know what 'excommunication' means. To help them, Adelric attaches a definition to a notice board in which the treaty has been published under.

"Why do you care if your communion with the Church is banned if you are not a part of the Church? An excommunication simply means you are not virtuous in the eyes of Canonism, and converting to another religion is basically is the thesis for a lack of virtue. Don't know what you expected."

"Left the one true faith to join another, see the division such reckless action has caused." Theophilos shook his head. Your own people disgusted by such decision, seeking refuge in other places. Pitiful." He'd then went to mind his own business in Haense, looking over his wares in the store.

Javier would look upon the news with much relief that the crisis did not result in further bloodshed but disappointed at the fact that the prince decided to switch his entire belief system just to gain land.
