mateolog 1551 Share Posted January 26, 2021 A Poem to the wind There lived a Frostbeard back in ancient times, It was a time before our great crimes. In a village on top of the mountains he lived, among his clansmen he thrived. His name lost, but he belonged to those of beard and frost. He was a dwarf who loved and sang, directed toward those who above him overhang. But even among them, there was one for who these words stem. It was to her he sang this song; Goddess of the winds from the far north to the far southern shore What can be said of you that has not been said before Your great power and beauty none ought to deny Lady of passion or Goddess of love are names you are known by Your marvellous realms are for all to see And your beauty is everywhere all around me The one who can create a beautiful flower Remains unchallenged as the seas power In your anger the ground you shake And death and disaster you may leave in your wake Yet such beauty you create for us to admire The Goddess of water of wind and of ire The fact of the matter and fact never lie Is that one debout to you is not afraid to die. -Baldin 'Ironside' Frostbeard- [!] Depiction of the nameless Frostbeard.
