Lair Lore (could link to an existing creature or other lore) (1000 words minimum): https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/186136-magic-hub-rhthoraen-necromancy-hub/

The lair will act as a center for rituals and practices that require recluse from civilization. Specifically necromancers of Rh’thor reside within the tower, conjuring cosmic rifts and sacrificial rites that sunder the world itself.

Lair Build and Infrastructure (photos required): https://gyazo.com/4a843867f20b3308c7906dd9d52321cb

The build is centered within the swamps, a tall lingering tower that stands alone amongst the bog. Seemingly an ordinary tower, it holds within it a library and small living quarters. An observation deck lays at its peak, fashioned out of wood and terracotta blocks. Much of the actual build will be below, the caverns beneath the tower that will be used for much of the necromantic practices that will be done. Expansive tunnels lead to tutory rooms, some for alchemical and surgical practices, while others may only consist of gore and bodies. A throne and meeting room will also be found in these caverns, acting as a central location for the coven.

Why can you not accomplish the niche of this lair’s roleplay in an existing settlement or nation? (We expect a substantial answer for this, not just ‘I don’t like them’).

New necromancy lore requires siginificant regional changes(Ctrl-f "Sacrament of Heith-Hedran" in the subcategory of necromancy lore "Thaumaturgy", it is in a spoiler under "Sacraments") to the area around in order for us to make substantial progress within our magic, without this the magic cannot function, while one could argue for us to simply change the lore so we could remain inside little homes in cities, this is in poor taste as the role of a villain is not to remain in cities and roleplay inside their homes. We intend for these areas we change and do things at to be a landmark and to be throughly interacted with. We have already contacted groups like the druids(Nividil specifically) for opinions regarding events and raids upon these areas we corrupt. Unfortunately we are at a standstill until we have an area where we can alter and use, we do not have the option to remain in cities and use our magic because we have specifically removed that option in our lore due to abuse in the past. If this is a problem we may be open to the idea of re-adding such if thats really what is wished.

What does this lair add to the greater world around them?:

This lair will provide players who may come across it with a variety of roleplay scenarios. While some may be captured and experimented on, others may be given tidbits of lore and told stories of yore. As the area will become residually scarred from necromantic practices, a variety of events such as wild ghouls or rabid wolves. A strange tower situated in the middle of a bog will act as a point of interest for those curious, though will lead to different scenarios depending.

This lair will add significant difference to the usual life around the region, ignoring the aesthetics differences it creates a area where the event team may easily utilize for events aswell as for an area where necromancers may interact with players, its intended for this area to become a dungeon where players may interact and participate in events, also an area where necromancers will be able to use to create future props to be used in villainy roleplay, and to hopefully and ultimately deliver a memorable and excellent villainly experience for others players. Future rift openings will be discussed among members but we have the same intention to follow through with creating dungeons within each area where we would make a rift, for future reference.
