Issued Fifth of the Grand Harvest, Year Fifteen of the Second Age


PREAMBLE

In 8 SA, the Kingdom of Norland and the Cove of Freeport agreed to sign a pact. This pact serves as the first concrete sign of good relations between the two polities and serves to lay the foundation for a good friendship between the two.

ARTICLE I: NON-AGGRESSION PACT

The Kingdom of Norland and Cove of Freeport agree to enter into a non-aggression pact whereby both states shall act cordially and respectfully with each other and allow the free movement of people between their borders

   -Signatories hereby refrain from participating in any conflicts that put them at odds with one another.

   -Signatories hereby agree that any breaches of non-aggression shall be remedied first by immediate and swift diplomatic action and second by termination of this treaty.

   -Signatories hereby agree that movement between their respective nations shall be free, lest such a citizen is a criminal or other subversive element.

   -Signatories hereby agree to recognize the sovereignty of their respective leaders and borders, aquatic and terrestrial, which they rule.


ARTICLE II: TRADE AGREEMENT

The Kingdom of Norland and Cove of Freeport agree to enter into a non-aggression pact whereby both states shall act cordially and respectfully with each other and allow the free movement of people between their borders

   -Signatories agree that reduced tax fees on stalls and docks spaces and a single stall reserved for Norlandic goods in Freeport and vice versa.

   -Signatories agree docks will be open to Norlandic vessels, but still subject to port regulations, and vice versa.
