The Veritas Tavern Grand Opening

 

 

        While the First Town Assembly was a resounding success for those within Veritas, it only feels right to have a proper event with fun, games, and drinks for all. With that, The Lumpy Pumpkin Tavern, found within the heart of Veritas, will be holding its official Grand Opening.  This event will host a variety of different activities and enjoyments for all those who attend to indulge in.

Liquor
        To celebrate the opening of The Lumpy Pumpkin Tavern, all drinks sold at the night of the event will be at a discounted price. Our tavern holds a variety of different alcohols to serve, some specific to only our tavern, and some specialty one-of-a-kind drinks one can purchase as well. 

Drinking Competition
        Hosted by our very own Council Member and Justiciar in the Brotherhood of Virtue, Alicjo Verrana will hold a drinking competition during the event for anyone who wishes to participate. The competition will be structured to a game that is fair and enjoyable to all, how the contest will work will be explained at the time of the event. The winner of said “Drinking Competition” will receive a special prize, which will be announced after the winner is found!

Darts
        Similar to the drinking competition, a Darts Throwing Contest will also be held during the event. This tavern game will be hosted by another one of the town’s Council Members, Annabelle Kelmenour. The tournament is quite simple and will follow the Tavern-Standard rules for darts that are used in Veritas and written by Miss. Kelmenour herself. These rules will be further explained at the event. If you choose to participate and your skills prove you the winner, you shall receive a prize as well that will be announced after the winner is declared.

Audry Sanguine would have a small grin tugging at her lips as she hears about the tavern opening, sitting up in her seat a bit. Her posture straightening as she comments "Well then, glad to have another fun time back in Veritas, should be quite amusing!" She says, excitement in her tone before she stretches out a bit, returning to her book.

Elnaril Vallei'onn lazily glanced over the missive, but forcibly did a double take upon the mention of darts! Visibly intrigued, he pulled one of the posters from where it sat and pocketed it for further reading.
