Sutica: A Ghost Town

Recommended Posts

Valrua sat in her house in this said Ghost Town, in a strange dream, where some person was pressing at a glowing board while wearing alien ear muffs, typing into a colored mirror. The tolling Bells did not wake her, but she did eventually awaken from this strange dream and looked over the missive, a furrowing of her brows as the 'Aheral woman becomes conflicted at the state of events, remembering not long ago how they both rallied together to put Orcs to a sword, she takes a seat and lazily swings her feet onto the table as she'd ponder "We'll see what happens, I'm curious why Haelun'or teamed up with Elvenesse folk." She'd then toss the missive aside into a stack of other papers as she'd come to a stand, deciding to go for a walk.

"Everyone's making so many demands, lately... Perhaps I ought to try," Celiasul wondered, before eyeing Solana with great and evil mischief.

The history and actions previously here have been lost to time; unless another recorded their story.

"Get off my GODDAMN lawn!"

Trade King Corwin screamed at the parchment, the elder abandoning all pretense of sanity in conversing with an inanimate object yet again - though his ire was directed at both the raiders and the Sutican usurpers alike.

From the vast realm of Stargush, the last King of the Mali'ker thinks back fondly to the time where his Kingdom, then ran by his brother declared the Ashen Crusade upon the heathen realm of Sutica.

Having regrettably been absent the mali day this occurred due to her duties within elcihi'thilln, the Okarir'maehr cracked a wry smirk as word reached her while she was taking a break from arranging college courses, books and reorganizing the bloodline archives. As per usual, her glass of Legion Red sat in her hand, the liquid sloshing about in calm circles as the mali'thill let go of a faint, cold chuckle.

"The impurities of the Suticans have always been there, but are now highlighted more than ever. May they take the way out we've given them, or taste 'thill steel and Elvenessi bronze. Logic dictates that they take the former option, though knowing them, they'll take the latter."

Upon checking the time, the elfess gave a sigh, her brief respite from the onslaught of papercuts she had and will receive at the pages of the books she reviewed having come to an end. Pushing herself to a stand, she made her way off towards the library, after pinning the post to her wall of Haelun'orian achievements.

Solana flashes Celia a thumbs up and slaps on a pair of oversized protective eyewear.. She flips a comically sized lever, firing up her newest invention: The Alchemist's-Fire-inator. Time to make a buck.

Azzam Bin Hakim Al-Hattan reads the missive to his father while having their morning breakfast. "A sad thing indeed, for such a state to fall into such state." He sighed throwing the missive into the fire, continuing to enjoy his Kibda.

Lillian skimmed through, crinkling her nose as she read the missive- it seemed all well till she got to the demands- "Money- Iron-... An apology?- WE- OWE THEM AN APOLOGY? For Focken WOT?" She'd scoff "After attacking first-... three times- TWICE on our OWN FUCKN SOIL, they expect an apology from us. ****'n elves dunno what t'do with themselves these days..." She shakes her head "those lil' ****'rs are proud of sending an army to a city of trade... seems the Orenian warfront was too scary for them huh" She snickers to herself before trotting into town to conduct business with the surrounding merchants.

a certain elf scoffs at the reading of a 'battle mage' before he scratches the back of his head as he reads over the paper "But... if it is a ghost town, who are gonna pay? The ghosts?" He mumbled to himself. After this he burns the paper up in his metal hand to nothing more but ash.
