Issued on Gronna & Droba In these times of uncertainty, one thing is known to be entirely in truth: the bells of hope ring throughout the streets of Karosgrad, and the palace bustles with preparations. But for what, exactly? There are special caterers, roaming from the rear of Almaris, to the North; Haense. Accompanied by only the most exceptional of labourers, decorators, designers -- the entire lot! It’s been the entire talk and gossip of the court, with whispers spreading joyous news and forecasted prosperity to the country, one can only hope we’ll soon escape these times, where trolls roam the lands and death stalks each corner. A grand celebration, and occasion is to be held. With sprightly couriers, travelling the lands of Almaris, and delivering special invitations to those of Haense import, inside the Kingdom and out. Upon the read, it is announced that a Royal Wedding is to be held at the Basilica of St. Heinrik. Where His Royal Majesty, King Heinrik II, is to remarry, and pledge one’s troth again to the Her Ladyship, Annika of House Vyronov. Once the ceremony has concluded, and the Royal couple stand at the side of one another, guests are expected to make their way to the feast hall of the Nikirala Prikaz -- the palace. Indulging their eyes upon the many, and prudently set up decorations, and their stomachs upon the traditional, and foreign cuisine. Following the feast, and once the stomachs of men and women are full with drinks of celebration, the ballroom will be opened for a first dance between the happily wed. Once danced, all will be welcome to join the couple on the ballroom floor. Those who come will be thanked, and it is our most sincere wishes that all have a good time! Those who have lost any parent during the springtime of life know exactly the hardships of what a life without one holds; especially from such a youthful age. The joviality of that poor young soul wavers, it rids their childhood of any true ecstasy, for the death looms at that mind like a solitude island. With laps of waves washing over and over, until what was once there, is no longer, with no escape. His Royal Majesty, Heinrik II, dealt with this hardship, at the death of his father, the late king of Hanseti-Ruska, yet those waves did not wash over him, and instead he controlled the ocean. During his reign, the monarch has grasped onto many alliances, amassed the military men of his nation to rule the mightiest. Talks with Oren ended with Hanseti-Ruska on top, alas, with the upper hand for a change. His tribulations turned to triumphs, and with the rest of his life ahead of him, the denizens cheer, with their heads forever held high. Now garners the question, who shall take his hand? And lead this great nation into furthered prosperity? From humble beginnings did Annika of Vyronov come, roaming the streets of Karosgrad, where her true purpose was obscured. First, a humble lady from a small barony, to then a judicious woman of the jovenaar bench. Until she held vital segments of the Queen’s council upon her shoulders, empty streets turned to bustling streets of exuberance, which eventually caught the eye of His Royal Majesty. It was his duty to find another, to carry on his prestigious family lineage, to be wed. Yet prospects of love, his second shot, were far out of the question, but the Lady changed all of that for him. Hope hatched to light, and light brought that thorn in one’s flesh back to strength again. Annika, the purpose she once craved, she has it now; an unclear path in front. While enveloped in insecurities and not knowing the end of that path, at least now, in the eyes of Godan does she have Heinrik to walk that path with; hand in hand. With that in mind: Remember all, the talk of matrimony at all carries many responsibilities for both Heinrik and Annika. They have the eyes of Godani watching over them. So such a monumental fete should carry monumental ceremony and celebration, leading up to the wedding there shall be a festival, to paramount all of the others ever held. And on the day of wedding, hundreds- thousands shall amount to see the pair hand in hand, where lavish feasts are held, tournaments of vigour become the talks of town for weeks, and the women attract all eyes with their grandiose dresses. Ea forgot to congratulate.." He said, dropping the invitation back upon the table as he would start running back to Karosgrad to congratulate the Koeng and the future new Koenas. "Annika to be the next Queen of Haense?!" They yawped in disbelief, voices in promenade now beginning to dwindle as their distance grew longer. Claude, at 5 years old, was sat in front of her vanity, a wide-tooth comb angled towards the tips of drenched curly hair. A certain one-eyed Elf grins wolfishly under his hood as he walks by. "Junger Fionn, be excited, it's a very important Wedding, for a change." He mumbles, before snapping his fingers, where a tiny snake made from yellow flames appears. He sticks a cigar in his mouth, which is promptly lit by the flaming serpent.
