"I hope this makes people want to buy more of my drinks." Uttered Elren "Or at least get injured so I can seem like a good doctor."

An old, and withered Mali'ker would emerge from his darkened cave. His eyes casted upon the sky would be filled with the events that occurred this night. "What the ****.." he says with a groan as he began his journey. And at that, it was time for the return of Vinir.

"Told you so." Says Aobh simply to Tarathiel. She'd nudge the older elfess in a jesting manner, though a stoic expression lingered on her visage. She knew the months and years ahead would be miserable and the problems kept piling on...

Amaesil watched the eldritch spectacle from the uppermost room of his keep. A deep frown appeared as he observed the horizon with the aid of his high elven instrument. With a snap, the telescope sunk down into its cylindrical shape and was set atop the stone railing. The elf-lord folded his hands against the small of his back and watched the beam of red be snuffed out as quickly as it had appeared.

A dark omen. The scowl deepened on Amaesil's face. Like a shockwave, his druidic senses telegraphed the unease of his woodland domain: silver butterflies neglected to fly from his shoulders and the stag Estelavern had mounted a nearby peak to gaze out toward the strange light. The natural world was at a loss.

With a blur of motion, Amaesil descended the outer steps of the keep. Leaving the butterflies in the garden, the elf-lord stood before his glittering table of white high above the Hinterland's ocean wall. He turned his eyes toward the night sky to gaze at the celestial bodies floating overhead.

Perhaps they would hold the answer, but Amaesil doubted it very much.

The Elf, Philosopher in title though at his core he was not wise, but rather his hunger for knowledge and determination to fulfill the great task trumped over all else that lay before him, within his mind. For The Whole was an ocean, and he was just a fish swimming in it, yearning to grow into something larger - perhaps even an island to forever solidify his mark within the always changing tides. And these tides shifted, a sallow-yellow they were, put to work as if they were naught but cogs in a machine of time. Thoughts ran through the elf’s mind, Saevel, his ambitions were not odious but perhaps he would have to be to overcome the obstacles. A great milestone had been reached, and still he sought out more, still he found himself coming back to the   same   old   thing… This was truly a heavenly sign.

The Elfess would merely frown, crossing her arms as she stared up at the sky, matters yet hallow and profane weighing on her heavily...

"Oh for... **** all kinds of duck!"
