With a heavy heart, comes the announcement of His Grace, Erich Erwin Barclay’s death. After a prolonged state of coma, the Duke of Reinmar has finally found peace, and we pray for his ascension to the Seven Skies.

Duke Erich’s full titles are thus passed to his firstborn son and heir, His Grace, Johann Barclay, who shall remain in regency until his coming of age.

Ser Reinhardt Barclay had signed the Lorraine when he had been informed by one of the in house physicians of Reinmar. He followed one of the doctors, who lead him to Erich’s chambers, there lied the man that acted like a older brother to him. Cold as ice, the Duke of Reinmar was now in the seven skies with the other Barclays. As he looked over the scene of physicians only muttering to himself the phrase of his family “Wer Rastet, Der Rostet”

Reynauld was in complete denial, refusing to let go of Erich’s death. “No..” The only word he could utter before he broke down, recalling memories with him when he was a mere young adult. The first man he considered as a friend was gone.

Ilya recalls a distant memory of a jousting lesson between a young duke and an orphan all those years ago.
