Shiredom 1548 Share Posted September 16, 2021 || Blue Desert || Formed 12th of the Snow's Maiden, 42 SE (1838) [!] Another missive, but smaller, is pinned next to it. Proposed Flag - 42 SE The Blue Desert is a purely Mercenary force. Unlike their former big brother, the Desert Company, which was split between Trade and Mercenaries; This has proved to cause confusion within the former Company. And has just made it more difficult to put strength to our main focus, fighting for the better of the society of the realm. Instead, we will purely focus on Combat, and there are 3 Main Divisions of the Blue Desert’s Militia. Cavalry - The Cavalry can easily be considered the most vital force of the Blue Desert, as it is a perfect option to save energy, and give speed. The traditional horse will be armed in cheap iron armor, which will help the horse survive a few more blows. The traditional Cavalry will be armed with a Spear, Short or Longsword, and Ferrum Chainmail. Infantry - While the Cavalry may be the most vital, the Infantry can be considered the most useful in battles that are not quick skirmishes. Being able to defend at the ready, yet slower compared to their Cavalry friends. They will be issued Chainmail Armor, and a weapon of their choice. Marksmen - The Marksmen are an almost purely supportive role in Combat, and are typically only used when defending forts, keeps, or even small kingdoms. They are not normally issued armor, as they are used rarely, but they may wear armor if they wish. They will be given a crossbow by priority, but in the scenario of iron supply shortage, they will be given a bow instead. Enlisting The Enlistment process is rather simple, send the writer of this missive a letter, and they will try to get to you as soon as possible. Where I will decide what category you should serve in, and upon acceptance, you will be given a uniform of said category. Weapons will be given later on right before scheduled skirmishes. And payment will be decided on privately. - Peralien 'Pumpkin' The most Sacred Pumpkin in all of Almaris Spoiler Discord: Peralien#8586
