JoanOfArc 4586 Popular Post Share Posted September 20, 2021 HER SECOND ASCENSION; BURNING BURNING BURNING BURNING Vivyne Ravexi Michaela of Redenford Niënor Nullivari Helinathe 1538 -1838 “Wholeness is found in togetherness. A clan united is where purpose is found.” -Visariel Ravexi to Vivyne Ravexi, 1590 When you are born into the desolate and bleak caverns underneath the Sun’s embrace, you often forget it’s warmth. This was true for Vivyne Ravexi. As a member of the Ravexi Clan, she was brutally trained to have the utmost loyalty towards the Moon Goddess and to her clan. For two hundred years, she spent nothing more than reading and collecting her thoughts through rigorous, borderline abusive, teaching from her father. But she relented. As a granddaughter of the good Saint, Koltira Ravexi, she had a legacy to live up to. A legacy shaped by the days of yore when the city- her home- of Darkhaven still yet persisted on Terra. So the Daughter of Ravexi pushed forward. Her mind grew rotten as the clan’s ideology took root in her. But, as the days passed beneath the Kingdom of Renelia-Gladewynn and the Moon Goddess revealed more of her deception, her brother made a confession. He was not who he seemed. A child of Azdromoth and not of Visariel, and he was to show her the path to enlightenment. Out of the caverns below, the two, with Vivyne’s husband, moved to the Pale of Aldemar where she learned of all the different ideologies: of the Aspects, of Larihei and her purity, of the Blind God, of Canonism, and of Father. Having been so close to the capital of Helena, she oft found herself drifting there to provide alms, as was her priestly duty. But there, under Cardinal Helena, she learned more about the One True God. His forgiveness and wishes for her to live a better life. So she committed. She returned to the Kingdom of Renelia-Gladewynn after speaking with Keledan about ruins and their beauty, a conversation that stayed with her. She found nothing of worth in her travels back to her homeland. Only the Velulaei’onn, her sister clan, suffered. The King had been afflicted and had toiled until his death. Her clan appeared to have disbanded, with her father never seen again, her husband being on travels, and her nephews dispersed across the land. The Kingdom was left in ruins. And so was her mind. She needed a family. After briefly exiling herself to Krugmar, she found herself wandering again. She was found by Avaeramos Ithelanen, her nephew. Her family. Out of the islands, they traveled together, and in the Silver City, he proclaimed an oath to Azdromoth to be the one to ascend her. After the oath was spoken, she rose as a herald of his. They traveled all over the world together in search of Asioth's enlightenment. And when she was ready, or at least thought she was ready in her brainrot mind, her trials were given by Avaeramos. They led her to protect a drake from dying, which she is forever grateful for. But she would always be more grateful for the day when the Father came from the heavens to turn her into an Azdrazi with Averamos by her side. She led him out As her days continued, she roamed with Haskir and tended to Avaeramos- helping others seek Asioth and enlightenment, such as Thalon. She had a comfortable, albeit envious residence, wishing to obtain the peace the mali’thill had. And in her time, she also met her brothers; all of whom she loved dearly. Even her brother, who taught her many years ago, returned, and she helped him re-achieve enlightenment. And she further met more even. Some names that would she would give up her life for: Serinath, Arthonath, Haskir, Elu, Zahk, Tiuthwyn, and Balthazar. She would never have given up anything for them. A family she had given back to her after the Ravexi clan slowly dissipated. And when the time came for her attempt to give enlightenment to others, she approached Marchosias seeking the ritual with Averamos watching over it. What had transpired turned into a trial of might, where she lost. And a severance from the mortal realm, performed by the brothers present there, including the one who taught her of Asioth. What her final thoughts were, are perhaps lost. Was it a failure that ended her life? Did she wish to be as courageous as her saint-grandfather was? To be united with more family after hers was lost? The betrayal of the one who enlightened her, Avaeramos, all those years ago? Or was it the blade that she had wished to forsake? No one knew. But when she entered a state of stone- one thing was for certain. She was at peace. There was a certain day, Viv had, where she stood out in the starry night under the full moon with her father, Visariel. “Have you considered the stars before, Vivyne?” her father inquired. “I have not, father.” she responded. “They consider you well, for all of them are saints. The star in the North, the bright one? That is my father, Koltira. Whenever you are in need, you pray to him. And when you pass and become a saint, you will be by his side, as will I. Do you understand?” her father finished. Vivyne Ravexi watched as the northern star flickered in the sky, a golden outline of her grandfather’s face taking shape. Smiling with pride. Spoiler I want to thank firstly Bagley and Matt for allowing me to play a Ravexi and Visariel’s daughter. It’s kind of amusing to think that I protested the idea of playing a dark elf at the start, isn’t it? But I very much appreciate it as Viv as she was my favorite character I’ve ever had. And just being a Ravexi added to that flair by being apart of the most based clan. I wanted to thank Ryloth and Sug. You guys have always been there for me and Haskir and Thalon were so dangerously based to play with that I cannot really put it into words. Just logging on and having fun with you guys is what kept me coming back to playing Viv. I want to thank North for giving me the opportunity to join the Azdrazi group outright by letting me have a fun time as herald and giving me some good trials. I wanted to thank Werewolf and Milen. While I think we started off our friendships on a very rocky start (mostly due to all of us being kind of dumb), I am so happy it brought us three together. If our friendships are what I got out of it alone, then it’s worth it. I wanted to thank Jentos and Joao, you guys really gave me an idea of what I wanted to do as an Azdrazi. Which is kind of funny especially since Joao was my herald, but it helped give some insight. I wanted to thank KBR for being a bro with me from the start and hanging from the start, you are a real one. I wanted to thank Riftblade for playing my coz when I was around, you are based. I wanted to thank marb, since you made Renelia fun. And I wanted to thank bickando. You really gave me the energy to start rping again and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it. I went from vanish parkouring in haelunor to trying to actively pursue rp with the motivation you gave me. You reignited my love for story-telling and I appreciate you for it.
Ryloth 4312 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Spoiler i have covid atm so im not gonna write much Haskir didn't have much hope anymore, these days. Too many had come and gone, and the more frequent it occurred, the less he smiled. The less he frowned, too, a stalwart and expressionless thin-lipped indifference beset upon a countenance no longer caring. But as the days went by after hearing she had ventured afar in search of empowerment, he waited patiently to congratulate her in return of her three-hundredth birthday. Yet she would not return for these congratulations. Time went on, and finally it was to be assumed a similar fate to the rest had consumed her, 'lest she be lost to wandering. Helinathe, none other than Vivyne Ravexi would not be returning from her ventures. All he could do was grow angry. Seething, violent, terrible anger. Spoiler bro?.. the birthday surprise party is waiting... dude?

KBR 1484 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Arthonath's eyes opened under that pillar of Asioth, his meditation interrupted by a feeling of great loss. His sister was gone. He stood then, marching down those steps and off into the wilderness to find Antonius and Serinath, the air smoldering around him all the while. ((OOC: Hey bro, it isn't April fools, this joke isn't funny bro.
Werew0lf 12005 Share Posted September 20, 2021 A kingly statue of stone sat lifelessly, unable to move, nor able to speak. However, from the eyes of the statue, a gentle crack pierced through momentarily, as if it mourned -- how odd. Spoiler Happy we could have good RP in our time. We both statues now, huh? I'll still be in touch with you as always, just means we have the opportunity to start fresh elsewhere! :D

ronin_champloo 5951 Share Posted September 20, 2021 "ARE YOU ENLIGHTENED YET, MARCHOSIAS? -- DO THE WINDS FEAR THE STEEL OF YOUR VOICE?" The voice once more called out. Helianthe had called it false, a mockery and a lie, yet it was not heard by the frowning man. The creased lips hid his true countenance to the blade. Marchosias' gaze lingered on the adamant blade, wisps of vehemence leaking outward in wisps of smoke. His grasp on the hilt tightened, blood-tinged eyes heavy. No response was granted to Geinmiin, merely an apathetic dam that hid remorse. "A DRAGON IS POWER, SO TELL ME, HOW DOES IT FEEL?" To the blade, a lingering gaze was all that was granted as he'd turn to peer his eyes before the waves that rocked the seas. He grasping the long-sword, silencing its sardonic tone, replacing it for something else. The Nephilim's eyes closed, and soon did he ponder. "YOU SMELL OF EMPTINESS AND REMORSE, NEPHILIM." An answer was finally granted as he opened his eyes. He'd exhale through his nostrils as crimson eyes turned to the blade once more. Afterwards, did he speak in a coarse and empathic voice -- granting a statement to the vehement Geinmiin, walking back to the deck that called. "Enough."
Sweet Nerevarine 133 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Nadal Ravexi, none the wiser of his wife, friend, and beloved's passing, continued his wayward search for Vivyne in unbeknown vain. Their life had been errant; he was accustomed to their parting of ways; oblivious to her true nature. Yet, for all the times that the two had walked separate roads, this was beginning to be the longest. For the first time in his long life- his long marriage- he was truly afraid. Had a wave embraced her while out at sea? A brigand taxed her of her life? Did a mage ignite her, a headsman behead her, or a vengeful spirit drag her away? Not even the most farcical of Nadal's frit thoughts could compare to the truth. Perhaps, a truth he would never know. So, he carried on his wandering, a changed man. If he had once had a blithe to him, it had long become stoical and pensive, a strange change for those who knew him; all who did had long passed. Perhaps this was the true curse of an elf? To outlive, in such a cruel place as this.
ColonelKuehl1 483 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Vival having been lost in a endless cycle of being lost in thought among his darkened valley. Moments of contemplation and meditation. For a moment as Vival craved answers and wisdom he looked to a Northern star thinking of his Aunt his last known tie too his Mothers clan of Ravexi as the Silver eyed Ker felt a suspicious chill down his spine as if losing something else in his time. From the Stygian Hollow, Vival returned to his study returning to whichever task he left for himself.
