Valannor 6345 Share Posted September 26, 2021 [!] A strange and curious missive, signed only by the mark of a great tree and scribed in stygian ink would be found upon the churches and the steeples of the realm, within the cities and villages of the land, and even upon the winding roads of Almaris. The parchment it was wrought from was tattered and frayed, feeling as if it would crumble to dust if one were to grasp it too roughly... We are born of the earth, and so cradled by it, like a babe to its mother. We spread through the earth, and as He ordains, purge it of its sickness. We are fed by the earth, and draw upon the deeper power laden within. From the earth, we stand mighty and indomitable, unmoved by gale nor tide. From us, the great Widu grows hale and impregnable. What are we? If thou wouldst possess the answer and seek release from thy shackles, seeketh then the Vicar of Yulthar, and its Shepherd’s promise.

WarcrimeWonka 19 Share Posted October 11, 2021 Leo would look at the poetry, concerned, yet intrigued by the offer of the sign. "This could be of interest, but where can I find this so called Vicar of Yulthar, I'll ask around."
EdenCringe 174 Share Posted October 14, 2021 An oyashiman man would come across this missive with a quirked brow, what once was pure curiosity has now become an ominous sense of dread. "And now they worship Widukind? Tsk.. these people. Oh how the mighty of this religion have clearly fallen.." He sighed, taking down a metal note of this Vicar of Yulthar within his mind before finally departing from this mysterious missive.

Banned 343 Share Posted January 20, 2022 "Who remains for you to be heard?" Questioned a figure of yore, draped in age-old fabrics. They scanned the missive for a few moments longer, ultimately ripping it from the very bark it was pinned to. The figure crumpled up the missive, stuck it in their satchel, and continued on into the twilight.
