The Royal Palace could almost be heard weeping as the sad news reached the rest of the Kingdom. What was supposed to be one of is most joyous days turned into what could be one that would scar his memory for life. Never had the Young Prince felt such grief, confusion, and anger. Not at his sister, for she did everything in her power to save their nephew, but at the world. "Why?" he asked, seemingly to Godan "Why must vy punish the innocent? A new life... taken too soon..." No longer would he hope for any kind of gender. No longer would he be selfish in his stance as heir-apparent. The only thing Andrik thought about was what any good uncle would think about - the health of his brothers children.

Petra Emma sat in her old bedroom of the Nikirala Prikaz, face cold and stained with tears. She would blame herself for the death of her beloved nephew for the rest of her life, despite her efforts to save him.

Casting a teary gaze towards the stained glass of the Prikaz's windows, she sharply inhaled, blinking incessant tears away as she clutched a knitted baby blanket close to her chest. She would hold it there for hours on end.

Blue eyes widened, tears welling up "Aedymamej, Aedypapej. . Ea must go see them." Viktoriya would grieve in private, for now she needed to be there for her aunt and uncle.

Emma wrapped her shawl around herself tighter. She hadn't left the sill of her chambers for the entire night, hadn't so much as moved a muscle from her place overlooking the Hippodrome, and the surrounding gardens sprawling beneath the Nikirala Palace.

Her expression was void of emotion, cheeks reddened by the morning breeze as it swept over the Kingdom - so different than it had been the previous evening. She hid her hands, still shaky, underneath the folds of her skirts. Even with the gentle coaxing of household servants, or the calls from family and friends, the Queen remained staring out into the distance, watching the sun rise over a watery horizon.

Unusual to the often boisterous princess, Anastasya's room remained devoid of sound for once. Not a sniffle, nor an opened drawer could be heard from the top room of the Nikirala. The girl simply remained - silently, in bed.

"When will it be enough, Godan?" The silent query to that which should be the all knowing continued to swirl in the girl's head, along with constant thoughts about her brother and newest sister.

Kaustantin Baruch stared bleakly at the missive in his office. "By Godan..." He murmured before stepping out of the room, his head slowly turned in the direction of the King's Office. He felt obligated to knock and say something, yet hesitated. After a minute of thought, the Lord Palatine turned his head in defeat and made his way back into his office to lament.

The dark ash curls swung back and forth as Nikoleta Barbara walked out of the Nikirala Prikaz. She was full of a dark anger. The kind that could destroy someone's soul and harm those in their path. Her footsteps were heavy, but not as heavy as her head felt. She moved sluggishly towards the church in hope to pray away this dark feelings - to find a way to forgive. Yet Nikoleta found it impossible to step inside.

Instead, the young woman let her feet guide her. Soon standing outside of the royal tomb of the past Koengs. There she'd stay for a few sleepless days, in the darkness.

Eleanora Amador held a sobbing Prinzenas Royal, Petra Emma @sarahbarah in her arms as she shed her own tears. As the Prinzenas Royal retreats to her own suite in Nikirala Prikaz, Eleanora wrapped her arms around herself as she hoped for some sort of nonexistent comfort. "Ea should have done more, Ea could have done more." The woman would slowly make her way from Nikirala Prikaz to collapse into her husband's @Pureimp10 arms.
