See stars in the changing season and dance among them, shining.

The chill of an autumn breeze and the changing of leaves usher in a time to remember those that have passed and reminisce on the challenges we’ve overcome together. The time of the Mother has come to a close and the torch passes to the Father’s cold surviving embrace. The dance between Cerridwen and Cernunnos presses the seasons forward in a never ending cycle.

 

To celebrate this waltz, the Mother Circle would like to welcome citizens and friends of the Archipelago Grove, allies, and those with peaceful intentions to the Mother Circle Passing of the Seasons Masquerade Ball. This event will consist of dancing, music, refreshments, and a contest to crown the best dressed. Prizes will be given to the winner.

 

The theme for the events and the contest will be as the title of the event suggests- changing of the seasons. As well, masks are encouraged but not required for those in general attendance.

 

In remembrance to those deceased, a vigil will be held before events begin to clear the markers housed within the Archipelago Grove’s Garden of Souls.

 

Security will be at the gates and throughout the grove for the event. All weapons and armor will be confiscated and returned when guests leave.
