Of the Union of two Houses

 

                                 

Friendship Solidified through the bonds of marriage...
The Ker of Stygian Hollow have been erstwhile friends of the Imperial Elves, as one of the first Elven communities to treat the Mali’Imperi with respect - seeking to teach our young Ker and guide them in the ways of their ancient and cultured past without attempt at subjugation or coercion. For this reason, to further the bonds of friendship between our communities - House Melphestaus entered into marriage negotiations with the Grand Veneur of Stygian Hollow and the Clan leader of Clan R’ikarth.

After many hours of marriage negotiations, we are pleased to announce the union of Aver’wyn Livarai of House Melphestaus, and Aesar of the Ker Clan of R’ikarth. The Ker engaged in initial mediation through a trial by combat, in which they found each other suitable partners. The Scion of the Ker for Ephesius and father of the bride, Hieran Livarai De Melphestaus, has consented to the marriage and Zirath R’ikarth, the Clan Leader of Clan R’ikarth, deemed the two to be worthy of union and both capable of producing children.

They have been given permission to form a branch of House Melphestaus and Clan R’ikarth to be known as R’ikarth De Melphestaus, and them and their offspring afforded all that succession of the Household of Melphestaus in accordance with Imperial Law and of Clan R’ikarth in accordance with the laws and customs of Stygian Hollow allows. The couple will seek disposition from their parents for all matters related to the family and must seek special disposition to determine their own Clan Sigil.

Upon the completion of this union, Clan R’ikarth is to be given a special position of privilege within House Melphestaus, The Ravenmoure, and the Borough of Ephesius - where Zirath R’ikarth shall be recognized as a Clan leader within the Elven conclave and afforded all the respects afforded to his station while within the Borough of Ephesius. Furthermore, Clan R’ikarth shall be given a seat within the Mali’Ker community of Ephesius to discuss matters of Ker policy with the Ephesius Scion of the Ker to be filled by whomever the clan wishes to represent them.

They shall be wed in the canonist tradition with Ker cultural elements, at the Basilica in Providence at a time of their choosing to be announced within the year, by Father Tarathiel Daemyar De Melphestaus.

 

We pray this union shall serve to further unify Elven communities across Almaris, for those who are aligned with similar goals, for the betterment of each of our societies.
