Unwillingly 11139 Popular Post Share Posted October 20, 2021 [!] Papers are distributed to every settlement, kingdom, and walk of life on Almaris. The children of Malin are notorious for their inability to find accordance or unity with one another, often in regards to cultural, and consequently, political grounds. For long have our kin only squabbled in discord and strife, seldom finding true kinship with one another in times of conflict. However, the attention of myself and many others has been drawn to a rat emerging from its hovel, a pest crawling from the muddied rut, that of which bastardizes and twists our ancient tongue and culture so that it may align with their objectively wrong following: the Imperial “Elves.” These rats proclaim themselves children of God, kin of Valah, loyalists to the Holy Orenian Empire, and in turn, reject a millenia worth of identity, culture, and tradition. They mount shrines to the valah men and their leaders in their own home, erect places of worship to their creeds, and lick the dirt from their boots all in a desperate attempt for validation. In a recent missive issued by these “elves” detailing their “Rite of St. Godwin,” they first elaborate on what’s known as the Rite of Mabon — an ancient seasonal tradition of the Father Circle — a druidic circle where I once served as the Raithean of Autumn. They first begin by claiming the seasonal rituals are customary to “mali’ame circles.” Pray tell, misinformed imperial elves, which mali’ame circles? There are two, no more than two, and this rite is home to the Vale of Nevaehlen only. The Mother Circle does not practice the turning of the wheel. If you had done just a smidge of research, you would understand this, but you do not. You are incapable of understanding so long as you align yourself with the valah. ``Some Ame have been told it was perhaps Godwin they were praying to this whole time in their old rituals, and visions of a Horned Deity were in fact visions of a Crowned St. Godwin - appearing as he who unites, hoping to bring together the Elven people with the natural world much as he united the Human realms.`` In this piece, they go on to proclaim that it is not Cernunnos nor Cerridwen we mali see in our druidic foretellings, nor they who we pray to nor offer sacrifice, but rather, a human deity known as St. Godwin. So strongly do they not only believe this, but teach our uninformed and susceptible that we do not pray to those who have granted us our boons, those which we have built our very way of life upon and prayed to in times of bloodshed and war, but rather, the human faith. They dare insist that the dead mali’ame we pray for are not prayed to the Mother and Father, but rather, a human figure. Likewise, these elves have notoriously bastardized the ancient tongue of our people so that it may better conform to their imperialistic followings. The ancient tongue which we have uttered for prayers, rituals, funerals, war cries, literature, all degraded to naught more than meaningless babble as a result of their meaningless maiming of our tongue and desire to conform with the Valah folk. However, let hatred for bastardization not be mistaken for hatred of independence. These elves are not despised for their denial to reside with the common princedoms and nations nor their willingness to live among the Orenian territory. They are despised for the maiming of our culture, tongue, and kin. They are despised for the way they devalue our creeds for the uplifting of their own. They are despised for tearing our rituals from the book and claiming it may be used for their human followings as well. If these elves were hated for their independence, why is it not the Vale of Nevaehlen we mali protest? Why is it not the elves of Caer Raywyn we decry and proclaim traitorous for living among Savoy? The Stygian Hollow for residing on the territory of Urguan? Why do we not crucify every elven individual who does not live among their kin? Perhaps we as kin have not found common ground in the past, and perhaps we may not do so for millenia to come. However, let us find unity against these race traitors, those who taint the minds of our future generations and customs, those who seek to mutilate the facets of our culture. I beseech you, Princedom of Elvenesse, Silver State of Haelun'or, Fennic Remnants, Druidic Order, Vale of Nevaehlen, Caer Raywyn, Stygian Hollow, banish these pests from your walls, ostracize them from your teachings, and declare them not as kin, but as what they are: race traitors. As of now, they have mangled only the ancient mali'ame rites and traditions, but soon, they will undoubtedly come for your own. They will seek to steal what is not theirs, to reform your rituals and taint the minds of your young with their teachings under the premise that it is correct and true. If you come to agree with the contents of this missive and intend to relinquish their presence from your grounds, I’ve compiled a list of residents of their manor, family names unknown, and consequently, followers of this elven-imperial drivel:Garith Keya Ilith Sylvari Aver’wyn Aesar Hiryon Imiru Caelius Nimreth Tarathiel Lumia Hieran Thucydides Amdrac I dearly hope this missive sparks inspiration in you, children of MalinBrother Wildfire. Valannor 6345 Share Posted October 20, 2021 Tarathiel Asul'onn would frown, noting her name upon this missive. She would pen a short reply. "There are more than a few Mali named Tarathiel. Clarify which family they are housed by if you wish to cast stones, good Druid."

BenevolentManacles 2232 Share Posted October 20, 2021 The Emperor delivers a missive to his General. “General Ruthern, Those who harm Our subjects are Our enemies. All who would do harm to Minuvas and his kin shall be subject to your indiscriminate justice. We do not shy from the defense of Our subjects who believe only in what they choose to believe. We have not forced a thing upon them. This is merely the path they have chosen, and it is Our beloved duty to Our subjects and to God to ensure they are not harmed for how they choose to live their lives. Those who would discriminate against them through force of arms or violence will suffer Our utter and complete wrath. Those who whimper disappointedly, we shall care nothing for.” HIM, Philip II

LithiumSedai 4837 Share Posted October 20, 2021 The Landgrave of Alstreim brought the missive to the attention of his allies, the Count of Freimark and the Countess of Sarissa, having somehow acquired it around his construction site. Though at first glance it appeared to be merely Elfen squabbling, to a keen eye such as theirs certain disturbing parallels were more than evident. "We have to act soon before this happens to us, ja?" @GoodGuyMatt @Axelu
Tulan 443 Share Posted October 20, 2021 (edited) "Finally someone who will stand up to these so-called Elves, pointing out that they have stained our culture by intermingling with the Valah beliefs. Truly a devastating thing for all Mali. Minuvas and his kin are a scourge upon our cultural inheritance." Ruathar furrowed his brow deeply as word reached him in the Hollow. AstriaS 3697 Share Posted October 20, 2021 Velsyni Indoren, devout dark elven supremacist, looked over the missive and nodded. "Race traitor... What a delightful term! I will have to start using that one. Good to see the drive for cultural preservation is alive and well, in any case." With that, the less-than-sane woman returned to planning how best to hang boiled eggs from her chandelier for her own amusement.
