What kind of Event are you looking for?: 

 

From the far north it came, it took the shape of a man and wore robes of deep crimson. It spoke of doom and ruin, of madness and agony. They attacked it, they chained that which spoke the unfathomable truth and in turn.. Revealed its true form by flame and brand.  Insectoid limbs sprouted from the thing  before them, tearing both flesh and sanity apart. Black abyssal flames erupted around the creature and as they struck their mark, the sanity of any they struck was taken. It was as if those hit by the cursed flames had been possessed. Those that did not perish outright, their flesh withering away to dust and ash would soon be cut down by their fellow man, others would take their own lives as if they had seen some horrific future that could not be avoided.  It broke free in the resulting chaos and confusion. Fate could not and would not be stopped. The prophet would succeed, it would enlighten and it would feed upon their very sanity. 

 

They will learn, they will aid the coming Rhuin. Afterall, It was once a man.

 

Tldr;

 

Naztherak prophet gets set loose on the world as part of the current forum prophecies. Its goal will be to fulfill some of the predictions by any means necessary and will make use of current and future antags (player or otherwise) to do so. It's goal is to quicken the process of ruination. Players will either aid the creature in fulfilling the prophecies in the form of a chain of events they must follow or they will fight it should they choose to. Additionally, there will be cultists in hiding that will serve the creature at all costs to further aid it in its goals.

 

This is intended to be an event-line for a secretive and brutal antagonist, it is a plot device to be used to quicken or set events into motion such as the overwhelming desire to kill a god-like entity or plunge nations into chaos to end what is perceived as stagnation in place of strength.

 

Prophecies are left intentionally vague but would result in the quickening of certain predicted outcomes of the current map. Outcomes which if they were to occur, would have disastrous consequences IRP and leave the world open to new and horrific possibilities. In short, it would aid existing events by attempting to reinforce them and make them harder for players.

 

Demons (Naztherak) would be heavily involved but these would not be the same Naztherak players have encountered before and would in fact be an insectoid species that is hostile to any other Naztherak species. Whatever master the prophet serves, as represented by the eye.. Is detested by the denizens below and attempts to stop the prophecies would be made through indirect involvements.
